The closest veterinary care to my house and the first place I went to. Over the years and speaking to others I have since moved and found just as good service for a lower price than here.

I do apologize in advance, I never caught anyone’s name but I have a bengal cat named Leo and tonight I noticed he had fleas on him and I called around vet/animal hospitals near me as I did not have a regular place yet because he is a brand new cat and I had just moved to Naperville. But they were able to squeeze me in last minute and they made my visit amazing. They were very inviting, gentle with my cat, and recommend things I wouldn’t have known to get as a new cat owner, as in 2 shots and a house spray for fleas. I would 100% recommend this animal hospital. Over exceeded expectations, and were very patient with also answering every question I had. I will be making this place my regular for shots, wellness checks, and for recommendations on my cat. Thank you!

I’m unhappy with the fact that my cat received an unnecessary vaccine but regardless they charge more then 2x as much as my local vet.

Staff is very inexperienced in caring for large breeds. Veterinarian is rude and unprofessional.

This is no hospital for animals they're all about money. They're about %90 more money on everything they do. The only thing this veterinarian cares about is $$$$ They were charging me 400$ for an X-ray not including meds or vaccines. Well visit exam was 75 $ (website says first well visit exam is 25 $) and they just checked my cats heart and lungs

It’s not an exaggeration to say I love the people here. My family brought five cats here throughout my life, 2 of whom lived to 18 and 20 and God willing, the others will too. I love the front office staff/techs who are nice and helpful. Dr. Hailer is an amazingly calming presence for both nervous pet parents and the pets themselves and always so helpful with questions. I unfortunately have to change vets due to change in locale, but your fur family is in great hands here.

The staff at VCA Boulder Terrace is awesome! From the minute you have a Tech on the phone to follow ups and great care from the staff - its reassuring I know my furries are in good hands. Dr Hoffman is very thorough, gentle and has a good heart for helping animals. I highly recommend!

The vets and staff truly care about my animals and me. I’ve had a very sick kitten that was given very good care by all the techs, staff, and vets throughout multiple visits. They listen to all of my concerns and address all of my questions. I travel a bit farther to use this vet but it has been more than worth it. I also appreciate how nice the staff are to me. I’ve been to multiple vets in the past that like the animals but aren’t as friendly to their human counterparts. This veterinary hospital treats my animals and me with care and genuine hospitality.

My 4 month old pup was taken in by VCA for follow-up care after a night in the vet ER and I was so grateful for the professional, caring staff who constantly monitored her and took such good care of her. The doctor kept me updated on her condition throughout the day and I was able to take my pup home healthy.

Super friendly and accommodating staff to our emergency. The doctor was fantastic, took alot of time explaining the situation and assuring I understood the treatment options and followup instructions. This was an overall Great experience and I would highly recommend this clinic!

So let me start by saying I rarely make reviews and I work in the Emergency Department so I practice and know all about being kind, sympathetic, caring to Patients and assisting them to make their experience as confortable as possible. We bought Woody at 3 months old and my family fell instantly in love with him hes our baby. Woody is 1yr 6 months chocalate labrador and hes not neutered hes 100 lbs and the biggest friendliest dog my 7 yr old say hes his grizzly bear hes so fury and warm. Woody is also all muscle extreamly strong ive taken Woody to 2 vets the first vet was always hard to set up sick appts we would have to wait as a walking for a very long time. I tried a second vet office and the assistants including the Doctor were rude saying that Woody was so inpatient and that I would have to put him to sleep so that they could draw blood . The Doctor made it seem like Woody was going to break her bones she barely checked him. They are professionals I would assume they would have patience when dealing with dogs that are hyper/ inpatient BUT NOT AGRESSIVE IN ANY WAY. Woody needed some shots and fecal exam and blood drawn I was terrified not knowing what I was walking into I had read amazing reviews for vca boulder but was still very nervous. My God where they amazing!!!! From the front desk to the vet assistant to the Doctor I'm blown away!!! They were all so patient with Woody they answered ALL MY QUESTIONS and I had many with so much patience and care. They were so caring to my Woody at one point the Doctor asked me of anyone was allergic to peanut butter at home because she was going to give him some peanut butter to help him ease when doing his blood drawn! My baby got all his care in the back in less than 20 min and let me say I was so relieved they were able to draw his blood without any problem. I already recommended vca boulder to a couple of my neighbors. I want to thank vca boulder terrace and I want to tell the hiring manager to continue to hire professionals that are caring and loving and that TRULY LOVE THEIR JOB.

Horrible doctor my dog has allergies and they refused to fill her prescriptions. If you're looking for a good vet Glen Ellen animal hospital is the best!

Not only did we get excellent medical and boarding care over the years, I got an unexpected phone call and a personal card in the mail after the sudden loss of our cat. I know this is a difficult part of what you do so please know it is greatly appreciated.

This has been our vet for as long as we have had pets (25 years or so). Always have a great experience here. They take awesome care of our dogs when they do overnight stays there. The staff is super friendly and seem genuinely interested in your animal. Highly recommend!

Love all the staff --- they are wonderful, caring professionals that treat all animals with such warm heartedness and concern. I have been going to Boulder Terrace for a couple of decades and have found them to be the best veterinarians and staff!

Dr. Z is the best doctor we have ever had in any field. She has been amazing with our dog Jack! I wish everyone could have the type of treatment Jack gets when he is sick or just going in for a well check. If I could I would give them 10 stars.

Came in with my 2 puppies for their first vet visit. And just by first impressions, they were fantastic. Staff was incredibly friendly and took excellent care of our babies. The veterinarian seemed very knowledgeable and wanted to make sure that our pups would happy and healthy. Definitely going to make this our primary vet clinic for current and future pets.

Dr. Hailer is great with my cats, from our very young kitten to our senior 15 year old cat. All of the staff is so friendly, and are very accommodating in emergencies. Dr. Hailer helped diagnose our oldest cat with thyroid problems that other vets did not find. Now with proper medication she's much happier.

Awesome staff who really care about you and your pets. Technicians are terrific.

I have used them from boarding to baths. Dr. Mclaren the staff to Kyle all treat my baby girl like their own. In 2 years my dog still gets very excited when we drive by. Wouldn't trust anyone else with my youngest girl. Thanks for deserving 6 stars!!!

Dr. Katherine Hailer is excellent and would recommend her to anyone with especially complicated long term dog illness, such as diabetes or other chronic illness. She and the staff were there for us every step of the way during a very difficult time with our diabetic / blind golden retriever. I think too that people who post that vet bills are high must understand we are talking about basically human level care with sadly few options for pet insurance. Our "people" medical bills are outrageous, many reasons contribute to this, but it is what it is. The level of care is from Dr. Hailer (pronounced Hy-ler) is excellent and worth every penny. She is considerate and certainly willing to discuss options with you, especially if they are financial, you will know in advance what things cost, and under her care, we have never been surprised by a bill. Bottom line, we have been very happy with her care for over 10 years and know that she cares about our dogs as much as we do.

The doctors and staff are the best! I've brought my dogs to this clinic since 2001 and have had nothing but the best medical services from all the vets. The vet techs are also knowledgeable and pet friendly. My two Chihuahua's get treated well during boarding. I feel I am leaving them in good hands and can enjoy my time away without worry.

We have been taking our dogs to Boulder Terrace for 6 years. I have nothing but good things to say about them. The staff is the primary reason we continue to use this vet service. They are all wonderful. We also use the boarding. It may not be fancy accommodations, but I believe the staff treat the animals very well. In fact, my dogs come out of here, after boarding, healthy and clean and seem calm/content. This has not been the case at most boarding facilities (even "high end" ones). They treat our dogs like their own. When our beloved Samoyed was euthanized at the end of his life, the staff handled it so nicely. I was so impressed. Later on, I rec'd a sympathy card in the mail signed by some of the staff members and the vet who did the euthanizing. I was very touched by this. Their prices are probably somewhat higher than other vets but I think it's worth it!

We've taken our boxer to Boulder Terrace for about 6 years now and we have had nothing but good experiences with them. Most of our visits have been with Dr. Becker and he always answers all our questions thoroughly. Recently we took our dog in for more serious issues and they got me in right away and gave me great referrals when our dog needed more extensive testing. They are a great place to call "home" for regular check ups and even holiday boarding!
