I always get nervous boarding my boyfriend’s and my fur child, but was very reassured when Kyle brought her up from boarding and informed us how great she did! It really put my mind at ease.

Took my cat in today and she is so sick. She is an angry cat at the vet but a loved pet in the family. The vet tech was friendly and helpful and I could not be more thankful for her care, however this did not translate when talking to the vet. She refused to even look at my cat or give any antibiotics because she was angry yet jumped at the chance to euthanize her today. She “did not want to handle the cat as it was a liability” yet was able to handle the cat by trying to put her down. I’m just a little confused by protocol and why they refused to even just give her antibiotics as it would have been a more simple procedure then euthanasia. If you care about you pets health and well-being don’t go here.

I attended the adoption event that Springbrook Animal Care Center hosted just the other weekend and I was helped by Gina. She was so sweet and helpful and knew a lot about all of the animals. Thank you Gina.

Tonight after bringing my dog for puppy vaccinations he was left waiting for 45 minutes. I was called for payment at 5:57 PM which I promptly gave. I told the front desk staff what spot number I was in and she said he’d be out shortly. After waiting 45 minutes I finally called and was first told that he had already been brought to the car. Then when my puppy was finally brought out the staff told me I stated I would call when I arrived, of course I never left my numbered parking space. While I appreciate the canned response from the owner. My email was never answered. For what it's worth the local VCA is terrific.

So I showed up for a vet visit this morning because as long as Springbrook has been open, they have always been walk-in. And now they are switching to appt only. The one thing that made them stand out was the ease of the walk-in appts. And now they are like every other vet. Not sure why they switched, as I never had to wait very long with walking in. If we move, I planned on continuing to drive back just for that convenience factor. But with their not having board certified surgeons for our endless ACL problems with 3 dogs, now there isn’t a need to not fully switch over to the vet we go to for the surgeries. I know you are “trying” this no walk-in thing out, but no one there seems to care that your patients prefer walking in (as I saw with another customer this morning). Edit (same day;))- as I continued to read reviews, clearly there are equal numbers in both sides that love or hate the walk in appts. I’ve never had horrible wait times in the 7 yrs we have been going to Springbrook. But i typically go in the morning/early afternoon, when many are at work. So maybe that is the difference in satisfaction. Or maybe the unsatisfied go on Saturdays when SB would naturally be busier. But in 7 yrs, we have never had a 2 hr wait like other reviews, so why change a good thing (full time) when others have similar experiences as expressed in many reviews. Tough spot to be in I’m sure. And I can confirm their not responding to email being a problem as others have experienced. And would like to confirm my favorite vet too, but don’t want to fill (their) schedule and have even less access to (them) if I switch over another facility because of appt only visit.

We have used Springbrook for 3 years now when we got our dog as a puppy. The vets take the time to talk to you and listen to your concerns and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Our dog can be nervous and they do a great job of working with her.

We took our 14-year-old toy fox terrier in for a dental cleaning and removal of a fatty tumor on her stomach. Everyone took excellent care of us, from the doctor and surgical tech to the woman at the front desk. We also did bloodwork in advance of the surgical appointment and got current on vaccines. The surgery went well and the post-care instructions were comprehensive, thorough and easy to understand.

We have been using this hospital for over 2 years now. Started off as a good experience. We are very disappointed with the wait times off late. The last 4 to 5 visits were always consistently around 2 hours. Worst you can’t take an appointment either. Pick this place only if you can keep up with such service. Oh … another thing, you can’t cancel out of your yearly contract midway if you are not happy with the service. So, we are stuck till next August :(

On two different occasions I came here to get my puppy’s vaccines and was told it would be a 2 1/2 hour wait time. Who has that kind of time to kill, especially just waiting around with a young dog? On top of that at our first visit he was given a vaccine I did not approve and only found out about it after I had to check out. And that was after nearly 2 hours had passed from check in to check out. I ended up going to a different clinic and was seen immediately at a significantly less cost. I even asked for the records to be emailed to me for his new vet and of course I never received the email. Go elsewhere!!

We've been taking each of our two black labs to Springbrook for almost 13 years. Staff and doctors have been great. Our saddest life moment occured when our first black lab was in her last few days of life. The staff and Dr Timmons helped us tremendously during that horrible/sad time.

First time we used any type of boarding service. Thank you so much to Springbrook Animal Care Center for taking such good care of our dog, who we love so much. They called me after a free exam, gave him a necessary shot, then cared for him well. I will definitely use them again

My dog came back a different dog after her stay. She wasn't her friendly, cheerful self. I don't know what happens there and I won't send her back.

Horrible place.....do not take your animals here. My poor 7 year old dog was misdiagnosed 3 times in this office. By the time we figured out what was wrong with him it was already too late. He ended up passing away 4 days later. He could have had a different outcome if they would have been better at their job. Even after he was diagnosed properly they just didn't seem to care about his health. I was told your poor family having to go through this. I already spent close to $2000 at this point just for him to suffer and pass away anyway. After his passing I asked for all of his medical records including his x-rays and haven't heard back since.

UPDATED: 2021 Changing my rating as this place has become GREEDY!. First of all any doctor visit takes anywhere from 1 hour to 3 hours, either they are super busy or they don't have enough Doctors. Then their medicines cost a ton, just recently I came to know that you can price match (which they wont tell), and I was surprised that I was able to drop the price of prescriptions to half by just saying that I want to price match..Seriously!! ORIGINAL POST Have been taking my puppy to this place from week 2 of his life with us, he is 6 months old now and every visit has been awesome. Very friendly environment with no up selling or pressure to buy services. Pretty happy with them

We took my dog in to get a teeth cleaning yesterday and had an absolutely awful experience. Medically, I am sure they did great; however, I did not feel that they had the best interest of my pet whatsoever, instead I felt a "let's get as much money out of these people as we can" energy. Prior to the teeth cleaning I got a quote emailed to me of around $400. They did tell me that my dog was overdue for an annual checkup and would need that done as well. When getting to the vet, the first thing they did was pressure me into buying bloodwork for an extra $125 to see how my dog will react to anesthesia. They made it sound VERY necessary so of course I agreed, only to later hear from others that it really isn't necessary until a dog is older or has other health issues. Then, I was also told that my dog needs several vaccines that are overdue and he would need to get those done today as well. I was told my dog needed to get the leptospirosis vaccine, influenza vaccine, and then a couple of other core vaccines. Under my knowledge, the leptospirosis and influenza vaccine are not "core" dog vaccines and it is up to the owners whether or not they would like to give those to the dog; however, I was told that they were REQUIRED and my dog needed to get those done. Of course, I said I would only like the vaccines that are required for dogs to have - nothing that isn't necessary. Finally, they asked if I would like them to trim my dogs nails and I also said no to this. This is already a big procedure for my dog and his first time going under anesthesia so I really wanted to only do the teeth cleaning and the annual checkup because that's the only way the vet would do the cleaning as well. Upon pickup, I received a bill that was almost $300 more than the quote emailed to me. They did charge me for an annual checkup, blood work, and a teeth cleaning (the three things I expected to pay for); however, they also charged me for an intestinal parasite screening, and gave my dog the influenza and leptospira vaccine (not required and unnecessary) on top of the bordetella booster (this is a core vaccine and one that all vets recommend dogs should have so this was OK). On top of that (even though it was free) they DID trim my dogs nails after I told them I didn't want them to! To me, the money was not the issue - it was the fact that I didn't want to be doing a bunch of unnecessary things to my dog when all he really needed was a teeth cleaning. Finally, my dog was dropped off around 7 AM and I was told he would be ready to pickup somewhere around noon once he begins waking up. After not hearing from the vet after well past noon I gave them a call and was told he would be ready at 2. When I got to the vet, I did not get my dog back until after 3 PM. I have never heard of a vet holding a dog for this long for a teeth cleaning and I just wanted to get my dog out of there are quick as possible as this was already stressful for him! Normally I am not someone to post negative reviews; however, I feel that everyone deserves to know the experience my family had at this clinic yesterday after taking my dog in for a teeth cleaning. We have been going to this vet clinic for 5 years now (since we got our dog) and have never had an issue, but after yesterday's experience I will never be going back. Unfortunately, it just did not seem like this clinic had my pet's best interest at heart at all. I felt lied to, tricked, and deceived and they did things to my pet without my consent.

Is your friend, pet, buddy important for you? Then DO NOT GO THERE. Our cat started to throw up and we got worried, maybe it was because of the fur but we just wanted to be sure. I have checked the working hours of the center and it was open. That was the place we have always gone and we did again. We went there at 6.10pm waited at the phone for 2-3 mins, that's of course OK. Then I described the problem and asked the lady, who answered the phone, that if we were going to be able to see the doctor because it was saying at the door that doctors work until 6.30pm. She told me she is sorry that it won't happen. I described the situation "it can be serious and we are worried, is there any thing that they can do" etc and she told me that it will not happen because doctors don't get check in after 6.00pm. She recommended me to check somewhere else and take our cat there. The door says 6.30pm but that's not the point. The point is; is it that unimportant for you? Can you care less? You are doing a very important job and I respect that a lot, I hope you also knew how important job you guys are doing, too. If you don't be there when I need you as a worried pet owner, "in your working hours" then why shall I trust you again? I'm sorry, that won't happen. I will not come again and I do not recommend you.

This place is the best! They are very honest and up front with the necessary things you need for your animal. I have my first dog and each veterinarian I have spoken with has been very helpful and informative! They are all friendly and will answer every question no matter what it is. This is my third veterinarian office I have tried but the first office that helps in me taking care of my dog!!!

Covid issues aside because they won't be lasting forever..... The staff and Vets are extremely caring and well trained at their jobs. Dr. Crossen helped us diagnose, treat, care, comfort (the dog and us), and ultimately euthanize our dog. It was the most heartbreaking thing we've ever had to do (first pet for all of us owners), and she was so supportive, professional and compassionate. Ultimate goal was to keep Athena happy and pain free, and we were able to do that for 4.5 months. Our other dog Delilah has had allergies diagnosed, skin rips (part shar pei), ear yeast and all the vets she's seen are so good with her. She's very particular in people touching her and every vet and vet tech (shout out to Colleen!!) are very gentle with her. We will keep taking her here for thorough, exceptional care until we say goodbye to her as well. Thank you SACC!!!!!!

This vet sees my foster pets. They are curbside, and no appointment is needed. Dr Baricello is my favorite, she is caring and very patient.

Great place to take your pets for vet care! Have been with them for a few years now. Awesome staff and well structured with appointments, pet drop off and pick up especially during COVID. We are on the pet wellness plan which is a good deal for vet care, periodic shots, check ups etc.

The doctors and staff are good, but this place needs to seriously review their front desk handling. they are very disorganized, always rushing (most of the times don't even listen to person speaking) , at times rude without even making an effort to reason with the customer. We are stuck with the 1yr wellness program otherwise would have changed this incompetent behavior, there are many vets in the area. keeping customer in hold for 15-20mins or more, and if I call at same time from diff phone will get checked in. Also, other time I called and gave info to check in was told 3 ahead of us, waited for 45mins and had to call to check (as I saw cars coming after me also had their pets taken in) then was put on hold for 10mins before taking info again and checking in which is when someone got to take my pet in. this is not once or twice , but seriously recurring every time. front desk is incompetent and very unorganized.

I called ahead for an emergency with my dog. I was told they were preparing a room and to call to check in when I arrived. I arrived ten minutes later and when I called to check in they told me they could no longer see us and that I needed to go to the emergency vet that was another 15 minute drive away. I do not understand why I wasn't told this in the first place. This added so much stress to an already stressful and time sensitive situation.

Our Yorkie was accidentally cut one night and luckily it was not deep and we were able to wait until the morning to bring her in. No appointment is needed, just pull into a numbered spot and call them. They will come out to get your pet and everything is handled from your car. Everyone we spoke to was knowledgeable and friendly. They did a good job in patching her up.

I had my cat euthanized here back in March 2021. Two weeks later I called about her ashes and was told they were not back yet. I got busy working and finally called TWO MONTHS later to see if they had them. I paid $168 to include the ashes. I called today and was told that they didn’t have them!! Now they tell me that price didn’t include her cremation. Why then did they tell me the first time I called that “they aren’t back yet but should be any day and we’ll call you when they’re ready”! NEVER AGAIN will I take my dog or new cat here!!!
