Gail's Groomerie Naperville, Illinois

Gail's is a good backup groomer. More expensive than my regular groomer, but good to have when needed.

I highly recommend Gail’s Groomerie! Monte is a Giant Schnauzer and not the easiest to work with. I reached out to Gail’s letting them know that I was looking for a groomer that could handle him and also work with correcting his negative ways while being groomed. Lana and her team not only delivered but went above and beyond. Thank you to Lana and the staff who were very professional, accommodating and had the patience working on Monte. Thanks again Lana and Team!

I’ve brought my dog here multiple times and have never had a problem! I can’t imagine going anywhere else. This place is so clean and organized and the staff/groomers are absolutely amazing at their job! Thank you so much and I recommend this to anyone looking for a good groomerie. Michele is my favorite but everyone else is great too!!

picked up my dog today and thought I would write a review. I actually would like to respond to Tate’s review before I leave mine. I can understand your frustration but aren’t you being a little bit too critical? Being upset because your dog was there too long, I can understand. Same thing happened with my dog but to criticize about papers everywhere and groomers “hanging out” is a bit much and to be honest very judgmental. All of us have bad days and are unorganized at times. From my experience, frustrated and/or very satisfied, I feel my dog is loved there which is most important to me. Their grooming is excellent, the staff is very friendly and I would not go anywhere else. Sorry for your bad experience. I hope you find a place where you will love as much as I love mine.

Did not follow the instructions I gave on how I would like my dog cut. Completely shaved him and left him with a weird cut on his ears too. Would have been nice to receive a call if they were going to cut him differently than I had asked before doing so.

I've been using Gail's Groomerie for about 20 years with all different breeds. Large and small dogs, too. Lana is amazing and never disappoints me when I pick up my dogs! I highly recommend this dog groomer. Thank you Lana!!! Before and after photos!

Gail's Groomerie has been grooming my Goldendoodle for at least a couple of years. Lana is excellent!!!! Griffin always looked so handsome when I picked him up. Unfortunately, he is currently very sick and I am unable to bring him in for grooming because of his heart condition. I stopped by and spoke with Lana about his mats and long nails. Lana GAVE me a tool and showed me how to get out his mats. How generous is that??? And it worked!!!! She also advised me to purchase a certain brush from Amazon and I am awaiting it. I plan to bring my dog to the Groomerie where Lana said she would cut his nails right outside. She is so accommodating and so special, I am beyond words. Definitely bring your dog to Gail's Groomerie. You will not be disappointed. I am sure everyone that works there is awesome, but all I ever had was Lana and she is the BEST!!!!

Great experience for my husky. I can tell they treated her well as she came back calm which is a first after a grooming! They kept me updated with her status and did a great job! My pup looks and feels great! Paid a little more than other places but worth knowing my dog came home eased.

We booked online after we could not get an appointment with our usual groomer, then when we arrived were told that they do not cut cat hair at all. My options were a brush out or shaving "to the skin" when all I needed were some knots removed that my cat would not let me remove. $80 dollars later, my cat reeked of a floral smelling powder that I could not remove and her knots are still there. Please do not waste your money or time, as I waited more than 4 hours for my cat.

My dog's left front paw finger tip was cut off and left bleeding today, 06/18/2021, at around noon when my husband took my dog for nail trimming at this place. My son who is with my husband heard my dog screaming in pain while waiting outside as they are not allowed to go inside. The staff cut my dog's paw finger tip off instead of nail trimming and my dog was bleeding. Please don't bring your pets to Gail's Groomerie if you don't want to see your pets suffering and bleeding because the staff at this place is simply unskilled. If I could give negative stars, I would.

They do a good job with grooming services, however I don’t care for the price jumping. $2-$4 increases, this last one $4. I started at $48 for a small dog and now are at $60 for grooming. I would advise you to check their price every time you bring your pet in!

I have a very anxious dog that is usually very traumatized after going to the groomer. That wasn't the case at Gail's Groomerie. He was happy and looked so cute! Thanks for taking such good care of him!????

I’ve been taking Bud to Gails since I lived down the street from them. I don’t live as close now but I drive the extra miles cuz Gails the best

Had our puppy’s first haircut at Gail’s. They were absolutely wonderful! Made sure my fur baby was comfortable with the surroundings before I left (which I read is very important for a first grooming experience because it sets the stage for how dogs will react to grooming the rest of their life). They allowed us to walk around and get familiar with the other pups. My little mini goldendoodle was relaxed and happy when I picked him up. Michelle and Lana were also very friendly, and helped educate me on things I can do at home to keep my little fur baby well groomed. Highly recommended!

My mom, Gail Gelushia, started this business many years ago at the 1st location at 87th and Modaff. She passed away on 08/18/08. Her best friend Lana took over the business after her passing, and has done a fantastic job in keeping up my Mama's legacy. Great work, clean, and uber professional, doing justice to her memory, more so than just in keeping the name on the sign outside. Thank you, Lana!

Lana does a great job on our Standard Poodles!

I have been taking my dog Popcorn there for 14 years now. Estimated time of service has been very accurate, I drive from downers Grove to Naperville to have Popcorns haircut there because Gails Groomerie seems to be the only place that can groom my dogs haircut to my liking. I’m glad to see they’re open through this coronavirus we’re experiencing now.

They are super nice and helpful! Been using them for last one year now.

Katie, took care of Marlow. I texted a picture of what a wanted done to Marlow and Lana followed up with me at the end of the day to make sure Marlow everything was okay with Marlow. It’s so hard to trust a groomer with your dog and even with covid Gail’s Groomer made the whole experience easy and personal. Marlow found a forever groomer. <3 Thank you for everything!
