Good friendly people nice pets too

I came here at about 1:45 hoping To donate, and give them a grant of 10,000, because my family and I choose a place every year ..but they were rude so I turned around !

Staff is always great at inviting guests into their facility.

They renovated the place and it looks really good. The employees are very helpful. Every time I go there I want to take a dog home

I scheduled an appointment to see the cats but when we got there for our 3pm appointment there were no cats to see. They failed to notify us that the cats had just gotten fixed that day and where sleep behind towels hanging in there bed area. Waste of time and our child are extremely disappointed

I adopted from them in May and was very happy with the entire experience. I love that you get an app to download with info on your pet and helpful tips. Also if you are having any adjustment issues they have great suggestions. I felt very supported and Humane Indiana staff are committed to helping pets stay in their new homes!

Before deciding to adopt, do your research on the meds the animal is prescribed. It's probably for aggression instead of being shut down. My next question, why would the Humane Society have an animal up for adoption with those behavioral problems? And I did express my concern.

I adopted a puppy. The staff there made the process very smooth. Answered all questions about the puppy we chose. If anyone wants to adopt a pet, I would highly recommend Humane Indiana in Munster.

Loved it! Friendly faces! We went on a Sunday to find our new family member. We were greeted by a wonderful volunteer named Maggie! Shes an amazing woman. Works on the clinic side during the week, then volunteers at the shelter on weekends. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. We had made an appointment for noon, but had to go earlier due to work conflict. No one had a problem with us coming earlier than expected. We found our kitty pretty quickly. Filled out the app, waited a few minutes for them to wrap up a different adoption, then had our time too complete paperwork. Soon we were on our way with our little buddy! Couldn't be happier. Thank you, Humane Indiana!

Never had a problem with staff until today. Lady greeting at door was the most rude person ever. She couldn't explain my bill to me when I asked. Slam papers on table & called the other girl that knew less. But she had all the time to stand the door to chit chat

I foster kittens for Humane Indiana. It has been the most rewarding experience I have ever had. They care deeply for their animals and they care for the foster families. When I was particularly sad about letting one of my fosters go, Angie was very understanding and comforting. It will stay with me and motivate me to continue being a foster parent.

My kitties got vaccinated and nurtured all in the same month,which was great they were very good with them! Very affordable! If i went anywhere else it would of been almost 400$ a cat So happy i found this place Thank you!!

Very clean facility with very courteous staff

Will never go here again! If you love your animals do not go here! The lady who supposedly runs the place "Kim" is RUDE and OBNOXIOUS! They do their surgeries in the same area they eat their lunch! After having to drop my cat off at 8am to later find out that her surgery wasn't done till around 4pm and not even alert and awake by 5pm when I was told to pick up! My first warning was when they put her next to a pit bull.... My bad for thinking that they would of taken care of the animals that are taken to the very place that are supposed to take care of them! I could go on and on about the AWFUL experience but all I can say is if you love your family members (your pets) STAY AWAY FROM HERE!

Spotlessly clean facility, inside and out. Extremely sweet, knowledgeable, caring, staff. We did not adopt today, but would certainly recommend them to anyone! Cats and kittens were very well cared for. Very impressed.

A little disorganized, but otherwise nice people. We love our cat we adopted!
