I had an emergency on Saturday, my kitty who is 19& 3/forths years old woke me for something to eat & since he has renal failure he gets what ever he wants@ 3:30am I gave him his vitamin herbal supplement that I make by hand Dr.Jones Ultimate Feline in the UK makes it but it's in powder so I put it in gelatin capsules with 2.4mg of Pepcid this guy who is a holistic Vet recommends the Pepcid if they throw up a lot & I've been doing so since 2018. I have a bad habit of putting pills mine & theirs in my pj pockets, for some reason I had my Green Tea extract in my pocket same size same color & I gave him 315mg of caffeine as soon as I looked at him I knew what happened so I first called Shorewood hospital been going there since 01 it was now 11:50 & I got a recording that they closed at 12pm and I panicked but I remember that I cut out of the paper an about a new Veterinarian who specializes in certain things and I cut it out and put it inside of the kitchen cabinet,I called to see if they were open it was probably around 1pm by then, but this was different it says leave a message and the Doctor on call will get back to you. This was Dr. Chow the exact one I read about and even though I've never been there he called me back and we went over what could be done, I'm forever grateful that he called me back, he's not out of the woods and not doing well but I'm going to call as soon as I get home and see if he can do a zoom appointment since at his age and health I don't think he can survive the drive. There are good Doctors out there and though I've technically never been in the office based on this experience I highly recommend this office. Thank you

i will no longer support this vet until they let me know where my vet went too! Called to make a visit with Dr. Chow and THEY DONT KNOW WHERE HE WENT? NOBODY goes near me animals beside him!!HOW DO YOU NOT KNOW! spent several $$$$$ with this place to be dissed like this! AWFUL!

Great veterinary clinic with a amazing staff.

Dr Hall has been AMAZING!! Even though she didn’t spay my dog, she’s been doing everything in her power to figure out how to help my Sophie recover (spay done at a completely different Clinic). I would highly recommend Pine Bluff Animal Hospital!!

I wasn't going to share my review of this horrid place, but I have had enough! I took my dog in last week for a checkup and shots and the spikey haired assistant (who I thought was the doctor at first) tells me my dog has a heart palpation or rhythm problem. He's 7 years old and this was never a problem at my previous vet. So the actual vet comes in, and she says everything looks great! I questioned her about the heart issue, and she said everything sounded fine!! I don't know what to believe!! I paid my bill and requested to see the manager or owner of the practice and was told that she would give me a call later. After speaking with the manager, she said she was sorry and could have one of their better doctors look him over. Am I crazy or shouldn't ALL OF YOUR DOCTORS BE GOOD! Ontop of all this, he started to have a cough on new years and after calling their "emergency line" repeatedly, the doctor (I think she said Dr. Boss?) literally says to me "well what do you want me to do about it?" I WANT YOU TO HELP MY PET! IS THIS A SERIOUS QUESTION??!! I will never ever tell anyone to come here. This is the absolute worst vet experience I have every had and will never be back. I hope people read this as a warning because if you want a vet that cares, RUN!

We were referred to Dr. Chow by almost everyone in town for our pup that was having issues for a while. I promised never to come back here after a bad experience I had before, but we heard he was the only one we should see. We went to multiple other larger hospitals looking for answers and never got one to what was causing him issues. Dr. Chow asked if he could do a couple tests and gave us our answer. He spent what felt like hours with us talking over options and even offered to reach out to his contacts at universities in other states to help us out. He gave us peace of mind and truly cared for our baby. When it came time to lay him to rest, Dr. Chow sat with me on the floor as I shared my favorite stories. He gave me a hug before we left, and ensured me that we gave our baby the best care possible. My only regret is not finding Dr. Chow sooner. He is truly one of a kind, and the most caring soul I've met in a long time. He is the only vet I will EVER recommend. Thank you Dr. Chow

Can’t believe they are by appointment only. I live close by and needed to get my dog’s ears looked at (possible infection) so I made the short trip only to be denied because of appointment only. Terrible service, why even call yourself a hospital.

Took our shih tzu Rocky where we thought he broke his leg. After an encouraged X ray it ended up being inflammation in his joint. After one dose of medication he is doing great. This was an emergency visit and we were seen in less than an hour and out in a half hour. Great job. Great vet. Highly recommend

We traveled close to 2 hours after we heard Dr. Joe was able to get us in the same day! Everyone said he is the best and now I can confirm that!! He was so genuine and even sat on the floor with our nervous pup who doesn't do well with strangers. Other hospitals refused to get us in and would muzzle our baby, but she warmed up to Dr. Joe almost instantly. SO incredibly thorough and kind, he explained things that nobody ever did and we were just amazed! I've never left the vet smiling, but we LOVE Dr. Joe and he will be our vet forever!!!

After months of getting the go around at other vets and spending thousands at a speciality center we made a appintment with Dr. Chow. He pointed ouut things that nobody even cared to mention and caught things that "specialty doctors" couldnt. He was straight forward and down to earth and didnt try to sell us on things we dont need. Clearly the smartest doctor around and not in it for the money! Dr. Chow is my only vet from now on!

I came here to see Dr. Joe after my best friend said he was the best. I usually don't post reviews, and was honestly hesitant to come here from a bad experience before. We've spent so much at other hospitals and they couldn't figure out what was wrong. I can honestly say that Dr. Joe is truly one of a kind. He treated us like people, explained everything, and knew exactly what it was. We are just so thankful that we have an answer and that we found Dr. Joe. If youre reading this, trust me, he is something truly special. We thank you so much Dr. Joe, from the bottom of our heart!

Been taking my fur babies here for about 7 years. I drive over 50 miles one way to take them there. Dr Schmidt and his staff is the best!!! Would not take my babies anywhere else! A+++++

Pine Bluff Animal Hospital is a great place been taking my fur babies ( Dogs ) there for years . And they've taken great care of my Dogs.

I have an older cat and he has gotten sick twice once during hours and once after hours and his done great. With there help. Very nice and friendly and willing to work with you.

Recommend for my dog's TPLO surgery. Staff was nice, knowledgeable, explained everything and answered my concerns. Dr. did a pre surgery exam and discussed everything. Very knowledgeable and came highly recommended. Dog is still recovering so I won't know for 3 months or more if it was successful. Dr is a well versed, caring, compassionate and accomplished surgeon!

They’re just the best! Absolutely everyone there is so friendly and they all seem to really enjoy their work. We haven’t had a single issue. I definitely feel confident in the care my dog receives.

We had to make the very hard decision to put our dog Missy to sleep. We were given all the information we needed for surgery for her but in the end we decided quality of life was not going to be good. The vet was very kind and understanding. He made the whole much easier for us. It's always heartbreaking to make that decision but it helps when there is kindness.

We had an incredible experience with the vets and all staff at Pine Bluff. Our puppy had a big surgery and everyone there made us feel super comfortable and answered all of our questions. I was not worried about leaving our puppy in their care and we will definitely be using them as our vet now that we moved closer!

They are wonderful. 2nd leg TPLO surgery and all is well. I highly suggest these people.

They were so wonderful in helping tend to a feral mama cat on short notice. They were accommodating, communicated well, and reasonably priced. I appreciate them so much for helping the sweet kitty in her time of need. You are angels!
