Had my first visit here with my new pupper last week, this vet came highly recommended. The staff were all terrific, they made our new dog comfortable and did a great job explaining all of their thoughts around his care and the reasons for their recommendations. So happy to have found this spot and I know that they will give my new buddy good care for many years to come.

I just have say this pet hospital is by far one of the best places I brought my dog too. My other vet was in surgery when my pup took a turn for the worse, he started having seizures and I rushed him into them. They welcomed us with arms wide open and took Bentley in right away and took care of him like it was one of their loved ones. Thank you very much Dr. Green for the professionalism and support with Bentley. I will be coming back with our new pup to continue the excellent vet care.

Friendly staff but, our kitten received a duplicate shot and billing turned into a mess. It was all resolved in the end, but was not a good experience.

They are the best, highly recommend If you need pet care

Lists online that they take exotic animals. When my boyfriend took our bearded dragon here, turns out they DO NOT take the exotics. Avoid this place for any exotic animals as the website lies about that.

I LOVE McHenry Pet Hospital. Their staff has always been amazing to all of my babies. I have had my dogs see them for years after having bad experiences with other practices. Their staff is also long term tenure, which means alot to me, I see the same techs, the same office coordinators and the same vets. I cannot say enough good things about them. They have saved one of my cats, and been with me when I unfortunately had to say goodbye to another. Both of my dogs also love them. ❤

They're so wonderful to our pets and they always have a smile and friendly staff and Dr is great with my cat's and past dogs they're so good at the end when it was time to put him down due to an incurable illness that struck suddenly. They're the best vets in all areas of service

Dr. Green really is the best veterinarian. I have seen 6 others. She actually knows her stuff. The staff is friendly and loving with my dog

Do not get scans here. They don't tell you until after but they don't have a doctor on site who can read any scans and they charge you a ton of money to send them to someone who can, AFTER they have already charged you for the scans. They were forgetful. Doctor told me a follow up scan would also be included for free after the regiment of medication was given, but when I brought by pet back, the office manager said they wouldn't do that either. Felt like a giant scam office designed around your love of your pet. I would give this my first ZERO star review if I could, and even THAT would be generous.

I was upset about my dog being very sick

Everyone is nice there. Only thing I'd say I was frustrated about was getting my dogs allergy test results then to pick up the meds for after care. Someone made the appointment without my vet so I had to come back the next day but again my vet wasnt there. Frustrating when I'm wasting time && I kept saying he will be there right but he wasnt. Prices arent bad either

McHenry Pet Hospital staff is kind and knowledgeable, also very accommodating when ever I've needed them. I thank you and so does my dog Jake.

My 14 year old girl had a sudden decline in health and we made the heartbreaking decision to euthanize. We only recently moved to the area and the hospital had seen 3 of our other dogs, but not the old girl. I figured she would need an exam first and was prepared for the process to make an already hard decision worse. I couldn’t have been more wrong. The entire staff was kind and empathetic and I can’t say enough about the doctor himself. Rest well Payge, IGP III, CD, CDX, UD, RN, RI, RA, TD and thank you to McHenry Pet Hospital for letting her leave our lives peacefully and with dignity.
