Very friendly customer service and vets. Would recommend anyone to go there.

They just lost my business.very rude. Does not communicate when you need to come in next , or what shots are next. Tell you have a appointment, get there and no appointment.

We weren't even clients of this hospital when I called about my cat, Andy. He was in kidney failure and needed to be seen and euthanized. They took us in right away and were so caring in his last moments. We're switching the rest of the fur family over!

Had my dog neutered here. He has a sad little bean bag now; looks like a coin purse. Pretty awesome!!! The Veterinarians and staff did an amazing job!!! Quality Animal Hospital!!!

When my cat needed to go to the vet, a family friend recommended Animal Hospital of McHenry to me. I have taken my cat a couple times for check ups and I think she actually enjoys going to the vet. Your furry friends will be taken of!

If I could give 10000 stars to Dr. Greene I would. She is absolutely amazing and really cares. We saw her for our senior cat who needed a mass removal. The whole process was wonderful and she went above and beyond. The prices here are very fair and don’t force you into unnecessary costs. After awhile of searching, Dr Greene will be our new forever vet!

Love Dr. Schmidt and the rest of the friendly, caring staff. They have provided such great care for our doggos! Definitely recommend.

I'm not a customer yet, but surly not going to be. I called regarding a special ear cleaner and the receptionist told me hold on and hung up on me I know every company has caller I'd so I think as a receptionist she should of called me back. So I ordered it though another vet.

Dr. Schmidt is wonderful. She is so loving and caring with my dogs. She takes the time to explain things to me and answers all my questions. When my American Bulldog was diagnosed with lymphoma, she couldn't have been more helpful in the process and recommendations. And, when the time came to put down our beloved family member, I wouldn't have wanted anyone else to do it but Dr. Schmidt. She was so caring and loving through the last moments.

Dr Tammy is knowledgeable, caring and just plain awesome. Love the staff here as well.

15 years vegas has been going here Vegas has Addison disease well managed by them...reno 8 yrs old has 2 major surgeries they did amazing he healed nicely and they love each animal " liking them like its their own " so respect that feeling I know the dogs and I feel safe

Dr. Schmitt and her team are so amazing. Every time I bring my dog in it’s like visiting family; the love and care they show is unmatched.

Dr. Tammy and her staff are so caring and Dr. Tammy goes out of her way to take care of her patients. I have 2/had 3 dogs under the care of Dr. Tammy and she has been accurate with her plan of care with all 3 dogs every appointment. She recommends appropriate testing and medications based on her expertise. Recently she diagnosed my 14 year old dog with cancer (who was declining fast) and when the time was right she came to my home with an amazing, compassionate assistant. I will be forever grateful that Tia passed surrounded by her whole family in her own home.

Had to put my dog who was my best friend for twelve years to sleep because of cancer. He never liked going to vets and would shake and tremble every time being at any vet. I decided I wanted to have it done at home in the presence of my other dog with the thought it would be easier on the both of them. I decided to call Animal Hospital of Mchenry because it was close to home and offered this service. They came out and explained the process and what to expect and were very delicate and sincere with everything. They even shed some tears with us. The process was smooth and without any surprises. They have a true love and passion for animals and their owners. I am very thankful of them and would definitely recommend them for this or any other services. I will now forever be a customer and brag about them every chance I get. Thank you from the bottom of my heart .

DONT GO HERE....I WARN YOU!! In December'17, I took my pet to this vet and Dr Schmidt proceeded to change all of his medications. He slowly became worst with this toxic combination. In addition, They injected meds into him that ultimately killed him. Within 45 minutes of leaving the hospital, he died in my arms. In all my years, I have never seen a place have negligence with the decisions they made with his care. I trusted this place based on the good reviews and in hindsight, it was the worst decision of my life. I lost my best friend because of these careless decisions to inject a death penalty into him. May he rest in peace knowing I will fight for him and what this business did to him.

Dr. Tammy and the staff truly care about your pets. I always feel my pup Lucy gets the best care every visit.

Our dog was recently diagnosed with diabetes, and Dr. Schmitt has been very helpful. She is genuinely concerned and takes the time to explain what needs to be done to keep him healthy. We decided in December to take our dogs to the Animal Hospital of McHenry, on a friend's recommendation, after going to another local vet clinic for many, many years. We're very happy we switched and trust the advise Dr. Schmitt has given us. The diabetes diagnosis was sudden and unexpected, and our fears have been put to rest thanks to Dr. Schmitt. Her staff is great, too!
