We met a new vet on an emergency basis yesterday. Dr. Kiley Mettendorf. Under other circumstances it would have been an excellent experience. She was compassionate and knowledgeable. Our 13 yo Patches is heading for the Rainbow Bridge. She's our Grey and Blonde longhair we get lion haircuts on in the summer. This is a sad ???? time. Cari said probably tomorrow. She has 2 growths deep in her throat not recommended for removal at this stage. An appetite stimulate doesn't help. She's starving and we stopped force feeding her today. She fights it and doesn't keep it down. The Predisone doesn't help. She's isolating and struggling to breath. Central Animal Hospital will help us with their compassion.

Why do they always just post the good reviews I had an awful experience at this office the girl at the fest was the coldest and rudest I’ve ever experienced at a vet especially when I’m holding my dieing dog they couldn’t help me cuz they had no vet in any of their offices Was told to get over it as I walked out the door I exploded more that I would of liked to but I was so floored by this cold behavior I can’t wait to see if this gets posted I will never bring my pets to any of these places Pet Wellness all the way they were so kind and helpful

The staff is friendly and helpful. The doctors are great. Great care for our sweet dog.

Never have had a bad experience with them and if they can't help you for any reason, they find someone who can for you.

It was....SO Good, They helped MY Lil Furbaby grl ALOT!! Its kind of...pricey on Some things...but, NOT All...and My Lil grl had Alot done that day...SOO IT WAS WORTH IT!! TY! Central Hosp. For animals!!

I trust them to take care of my babies. Any, any time I've had an urgent issue, they get me in the marion or herrin office the same day.

I had a bad day because of a sick kitty but the girl that helped me was so nice she made me feel better I will go there at Central hospital for animals again

Wonderful staff. Good animal medical care.

They were very rude when I asked what kind of dog I had found. Unresponsive to questions. And didn't seem to care. All I was trying to do is get treatment for a dog I found on the street. I asked normal questions about the health . They treated me at the end like they wanted me to leave.

Do NOT go to this place if you care about your animal. I took my cat there to be euthanized and they took him into a back room and I could hear him screaming and crying out in pain. I opened the door and they told me I was not allowed to come into that room so I said I would take my animal home with me to prevent him from being in so much pain and let him die a natural death and they refused to let me take my animal home! Do NOT take your animal here to be euthanized. They tortured my animal and then killed him

I will start off by saying I absolutely LOVE the front desk staff and vet techs, but I have had two too many bad experiences with two of the vets here and will not be returning. They are short, rude, treat you like you’re inferior to them when you ask questions regarding your pets health, and run out of the room as quick as they can. I expect for my pets the same as what I expect from my own healthcare, and this place falls very short of that.

Have been going here for years with our cats at the office in Carbondale - never had any issues. We moved closer to Marion and started using the Marion one. In the short time we’ve been going to the Marion one (4 months) we’ve decided to switch vets completely because of how rude they have been to our new puppy. Would not recommend going if you have a puppy.

Two of my animals were under the care of Dr. Kayne. Neither were correctly diagnosed. And both are now deceased. I wouldn't take a houseplant here.

The staff are amazing and I trust them with my pups completely. You know it's a great vet office when the dogs get excited when we pull up lol.

Amazing staff. Took very good care of our Guinea Pigs.

Everyone is awesome here. Take such good care of my fur babies.

Took my kitty who has special needs, vet said he did not have time read his file and said what’s his medical issues?! I am not a vet I don’t know all the medical terms that’s why I sent his file for you to read! Drive two hours to his normal vet that is awesome.

Some of the most caring and understanding people. I wouldn’t take my pet anywhere else but here ❤️

I recently had to put my Macy down, she was old and blind and had arthritis. I called the vet and they took us to a room and she laid down and put her head on my lap and she passed very peaceful. Central Hospital for Animals, was incredible, not just that day, but every time Macy had an appointment. They have a great staff, great Vets, you cant go wrong taking your pets there.

My yorkie was critally sick and i called at 8 am. They would not see him till 2 pm. He has beem going there since he was 10 months old for all of his treatments. They could not work him in He may die because they wouldnt see him any earlier Dont take your dog there.

My doggo was very sick. The Vet and his assistant did a great job helping him to get well. They even made a follow up phone call to see how he was doing.

Whichever vet I worked with couldn't stop talking long enough to hear my pet's history. Really disappointing.

Yuck -10 stars Guesstimate your dogs care 600$ less for less then 24hrs then call for more $ NEVER NEVER GO HERE SHOULD BE REPORTED
