Best Experience I ever had in a dental office.

I truly cannot express my gratitude enough for the team here at Healthy Pet. Especially this past week. They truly care about you and your pets. When you have a concern, they listen and they do everything they can to problem solve and give you all options available. My pets are my babies and I would not trust them to any other team.

Always helpful & friendly. Reasonable pricing and I recommend the "PAWS" program (covers the cost of regular annual check-up & meds at a savings and includes a discount on anything outside of covered procedures).

We went to Healthy Pet because we saw they had decent reviews and it was a convenient location. After having visited, I would not recommend taking any dog there. Every single appointment we had at healthy pet there was a “discrepancy or issue.” On several occasions we were over charged, wrongfully informed, and mislead by the staff at Healthy Pet. Most of the technicians seem to be very green and not comfortable with dogs especially large breeds. We witnessed our puppy being dragged across the floor in the lobby after having dropped her off for an appointment. We brought this to the Manager/Owner Mike Brewer’s attention and he was very defensive and we were told we were lying about the care and treatment our dog received. He is extremely aggressive and I don’t think he has the best interest of his customers in mind which seemed to trickle down into their staffs culture as a whole. One scenario we were directly accused of lying and in another scenario I was hung up on over the phone while trying to receive clarification regarding a wrongful billing charge. Our trust and comfort in leaving our dog there for more than five minutes was completely tarnished with how they handle questioning of their care or billing. Healthy Pet’s receptionists and Dr. Christman are probably the only good treatment and care we received while we were there. The receptionists handled most of the discrepancies in payments and information we received which we are grateful for, but ultimately we feel that Healthy Pet is just trying to scam you for money in hopes that you won’t question it. I strongly urge you to not visit this vet if you are seeking care for a dog.

I take my fur babies to this wonderful place and couldn't be happier. The staff is phenomenal, I walk in and they greet my babies like they are their own. Let me just say my Walter is a french bulldog and a puppy who is incredibly unruly and has no sense of personal space, acts like this is his second home and the staff treat him as such. He recently was nutered and not once did I worry if he was being taken care of. My Tucker a rescue Jack Russell is much older and it takes more to impress him, but his stubby little tail gets to wagging and a pep in his step when he sees the staff here. So if you're looking for a clinic to take your babies too, I highly recommend it, this is one of the best.

The owner is an exceptional professional, she came through for our dog in a time of need. The staff is very friendly and efficient I have great praise for them. Thank you for the great service.

I love healthy pet. The techs, vets, and receptionists have always been nothing but kind and helpful in every way possible. The worst part about this establishment is the manager Mike. He is rude, disrespectful, demeaning, and has no sympathy or kindness to handle pet owners when they need help. I have dealt with him 3 times, and each time has been awful. Dr. Christman and her staff are the ONLY reason I keep coming back. Had I known such a terrible person was managing this place I probably would have NEVER started a relationship with them.

Thank you for taking in my last minute chip check for a lost dog I recovered. That's an amazing response and help to animal lovers and our community.

I’ve been to a few vets in the area and this one has by far been my best experience. They’re customer service is great, they’re wonderful with my dog, and they are knowledgeable and help me understand and care for all of his needs without trying to take advantage and charge for things he doesn’t.

I've been trusting Healthy Pet for over 20 years. I started taking my ferrets there when I moved to Madison and haven't stopped. When I couldn't care for their aging needs, the receptionist at the time took them in and saw them through over the rainbow bridge. Since then, they've been watching my old boy go from puppy to 15 and he's still kicking! I've never felt pressured to complete a procedure and trust their expertise when it comes to the health and wellness of my dogs (and cats, when I had them).

Healthy Pets is the only place that I take my ferrets. It's a 2 hour drive for me, so that says a lot! My fur babies get the best care and the staff goes above and beyond for my little ones! They truly care about every animal that is brought in to see them. I highly recommend them and will continue to use them for every animal that I have.

I have a guinea pig with special needs who needs to be hand-fed and given medications. I boarded him here while I was out of town. They took great care of him. I am so thankful!

I've been taking my dogs to HPVC for the past 5 years or so, and I'll never go to another vet. I've always had my appointments with Dr. Christman or Dr. Humphrey, and both are amazing at what they do. I have 2 chihuahuas, 1 with seizures. Dr. Christman was able to get my pup's seizures under control through a pill/day. My other hound had been having some pee issues and when I took her in, Dr. Humphrey identified a UTI, which led to the discovery of a large bladder stone. This was removed surgically and now my mutts are both happy and healthy. HPVC has also cleaned and done extractions on both dog's teeth, and their after care and instructions are always spot on. Thanks to all the staff at Healthy Pet, including the techs and front desk people, they're always so accommodating. Do your pets and yourself a favor and go to Healthy Pet Vet Clinic

I recently took my rabbit in for a wellness check and dental consult. The staff was very professional and friendly. Dr Christman is very knowledgeable about rabbits and we talked at length about my rabbit's care and his dental procedure. The clinic was very clean and was in an easy to find location.

When I adopted my greyhound 4 years ago, GPA-Wisconsin recommended I bring her to Dr. Christman at Healthy Pet because of her understanding of the breed and familiarity with their transition into retirement. I’m glad they did, because she and the team at the clinic have been great. Plus, their rates are very reasonable for all the services and support they provide. Highly recommend!

Last month I took my cat in for a routine dental cleaning. Unfortunately, during this procedure, my cat's esophagus was torn and she filled with air under her skin and in her chest cavity. She had to be rush transferred to a nearby emergency vet clinic. She stayed there for 4 days to get rehabilitated. We're lucky she made it through. I still can't get a straight answer from Healthy Pet on what happened during the procedure. I've asked a few times, and no definite answer. They paid for all the emergency vet bills, which was about $1500.... I won't be taking my cat back here, a near-death experience was enough drama for us. I'm so disappointed this happened.

I wouldn’t take my guinea pigs anywhere else. The staff is so friendly and always willing to answer my questions. Dr. Christman is amazing and a great veterinarian! The only other vet I saw was Sue Roberts for my first appointment and she is a great vet too!

We had the best experience at Healthy Pet Veterinary Clinic! Our dog is 1 year old and new to us. Natalie, Dr. Humphrey, and Brittany are experts and so kind. Natalie greeted us in the parking lot and even asked how to pronounce our dog’s name. Dr. Humphrey showed us how to clip his nails and brush his teeth. She also gave us recommendations for food, training, and preventative medicine. We left with an awesome goodie bag and a happy pup. Super reasonably priced, clean, and welcoming. Thank you!

I have taken 2 of my cats here and they are amazing. They show care and concern for your animals. Last year after 5+ times taking our kitten to another vet and them brushing off her skin issues, we decided to try healthy pet clinic. They gave us medicine for her and she has had no issues since! It’s an hour drive for us but they are worth it! We will be bringing all of our animals here.

Great staff, good prices, easy accommodation. Plan ahead, slots fill up fast!
