I waited to write this review to see how things went and here we are a month out from our puppy's surgery and I honestly cannot say enough good things about Edinger Surgical Options. Our 6 month old puppy fractured her knee Wednesday night and thanks to ESO we were able to squeeze into an emergency slot that following Friday morning that they kept open for emergencies like ours. Here we are now 4 weeks later and the recovery has been going as well as we could hope for. Other than the outstanding professionalism of the entire staff, the new & updated facility, the one thing that really stood out to me and made this a 5 stars for me personally is that on each of our visits all the staff knew our puppy by name. I don't know if puppies are just more popular or what but it really felt like every staff member there had some kind of personal bond with my puppy, calling her by name and almost excited like to see her come in. It really made you feel like you found a place that actually cares about your animal and not just that almighty dollar. We don't even get that kind of recognition from our local vet haha. I really can't say enough good things about this place! Thank you Edinger Surgical Options. Thank you Dr. Hoffman for your amazing work on Cora's leg and thank you ESO staff for making this old man feel like his puppy was in very safe loving hands. All of you really made this a 5 star experience for me. Niko & Cora

Our dog had TPLO surgery 12 weeks ago and is doing fantastic!! The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. You can tell they care about dogs, even our difficult and stubborn pitty. We did 4 weeks of the recovery program and it was worth every penny. The daily updates and pictures are a nice touch. Highly recommend.

We had a 10 week old puppy diagnosed with his dysplasia due to a fluke during pregnancy or birth. We had the surgery and always felt very informed and very comfortable during every step of the process. Would highly recommend

My dog needed emergency surgery for a broken femur. Dr. Edinger, Nikki, and his team were amazing. The communication, checkins, etc. I felt like they truly cared about my pup. The repair turned out great and she is healing so nicely. Definitely not the cheapest, BUT YOU ABSOLUTELY GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!! So thankful they worked late on a Friday night to fix my girl up.

Brought my dog here for prp. She did x-rays, additional even though the additional site wasn't authorized because the dog had been doing fine with that area and the tech was updated at drop off, and that site wasn't supposed to receive prp anyway, but literally no puncture marks at the other sites for prp. There should always be puncture marks as a large needle is used for the injection (had it done at another clinic prior to this one). Interestingly I was still charged for it, given discharge instructions and a narcotic was prescribed (high dose) which was completely unnecessary! Will not bring my dog here again!

Dr. Bergh fixed my Zaney! Everyone who works here is amazing. We actually miss coming here. They all explained the process thoroughly and it was apparent they have this down to a science. We had bi-lateral TPLO with the 14 day recovery stay. It was hard but I was able to visit EVERY DAY! Zaney is PERFECT! She can run like the wind again. And she would rather trot than walk just like before. She has a perfect gait. Thank you Dr. Bergh, Sara, Nikki and also Lara Day and Beth at vrcofw. The Sondel staff is sweet too. So many Zaney smiles and kisses.

Hands down, the best medical professional I've ever interacted with. Far exceeded my expectations for both medical outcome as well as general customer service. Multiple times, Dr. Edinger would return a voice mail message and proceed to spend upwards of forty minutes answering my questions in detail. If I could find a doctor half as good for MYSELF, then I'd really be set.

Our dog Wally tore his CCL at the end of July. Wally is a runner, so the idea of him not being able to run was devastating. We were referred to Edinger Surgical Options by Wally's primary vet, and we are so thankful. The team at Edinger Surgical Options is incredible. Dr. Edinger is incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and you can tell he really cares about the animals. Wally's TPLO surgery went really well, and we loved the RecoveryStay program. He was able to get around the clock care for one week after surgery which alleviated a lot of stress for us. The team at Edinger Surgical Options took care to make sure we had everything we needed for his at-home recovery. Wally is a little reactive around other dogs, so the team at Edinger Surgical options even went out of their way to make sure his follow-up appointments were the first of the day so that we wouldn't have to deal with any issues (thank you Sara!). Each time we went back for a follow-up appointment, Wally was really excited to see the people who had helped take care of him during his surgery and during his RecoveryStay, especially Kyle! We just cannot say enough wonderful things about Edinger Surgical Options. I would highly recommend Dr. Edinger and his team if you find yourself needing specialized care for your pet!

I had a couple of different friends recommend ESO since my dog Tank had torn ligaments in both of his knees and required surgery. My friends raved at the care their dogs received before, during, and after surgery from Dr Edinger and his team. I was cautiously optimistic and decided to schedule an appointment and I’m so glad I did. The entire staff from the receptionists, assistants, and Dr Edinger himself were so caring, kind, and knowledgeable I was totally blown away. You could tell from the moment Dr Edinger walked in he has a true passion for taking care of animals. Tank had both knees surgically repaired at the same time so he spent 2 weeks in the recovery stay. I received a text message every single morning he was in the recovery stay with his picture that ensured me he was being well taken care of. They were very accommodating whenever I wanted to visit him for a half hour while he was in the recovery stay. Dr Edinger and his team far exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend them for any surgical care your pet may need.

Our dog's really been through the ringer with her leg the past few years, and Dr. Edinger has been there every step of the way. Not that everything's gone perfectly (she's a complicated case), but she's finally in a good place with her mobility, and the kind, patient, optimistic team at Edinger's office have all been responsible for getting her there.

I was referred to Dr. Edinger to determine the source of pain that my Rhodesian Ridgeback, Quin, had been suffering from, and we were coming to him after 3 previous visits to other clinics. He identified the pain as a bulging disk in her back and immediately got her admitted for surgery. (Quin had an incredible recovery!) Dr. Edinger is the most thoughtful, genuinely kind, dedicated and engaged veterinary practice individual I have encountered. I was more than impressed at his attentiveness when examining Quin; it felt like when he stepped into the room, there was nothing else on his mind aside from solving the issue of her pain. He didn't rush to any conclusions, and was to-the-point in his explanations. No question felt dumb to ask, and I very much enjoyed having conversations with him, as he explained things so well! I hope Quin never has to go through surgery again, but should she need anything in the future, Dr. Edinger is the guy we would want to do it. He gave us so much hope and comfort during a very scary time by educating us as pet owners, and spending the time needed to improve Quin’s health and well-being. (Also, I don't want to forget to give LOTS of credit to the team of people that checked us into the clinic, got us scheduled with Dr. Edinger, and helped Quin out of the car when she didn't want to come inside! They are all so poised and just such kind people.)

Our boxer had two TPLO surgeries within a 1 year span, and after recovery she was back to her old self. She could sprint at the dog park like the young pups. Dr. Edinger explained everything so well and took great care of our girl.

Dec 7th my dog Moomba had surgery (Fragmented Medial Coronoid Process) on both front legs. I'm so happy to say today Jan 5th, he passed his final check up appointment and physical therapy appointment with flying colors. I've been able to walk in off leash for the past two days and he is so happy!! Dr. Edinger and staff were absolutely AWESOME! You can tell they truly care about the dogs and not rushing to make a decision. Dr. Edinger is straight forward and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about him. I'm so happy a friend recommended I take my dog Moomba (Portuguese Water Dog) there for a second opinion. I could talk on and on, but I will just say I 100% recommend bring your dog to Dr. Edinger! 100% pleased from start to finish and I can't believe how great Moomba is doing. He is only 2 1/2. Wow. I could not believe the time and attention to detail we received on a neurological consultation for our dog. I think the surgeon must have spent 15 minutes with me on the phone BEFORE I scheduled anything, just to make sure seeing them was appropriate! The actual appointment was unhurried and thorough. Lots of time was taken to make sure our questions were answered and that we understood and agreed upon a treatment plan.

Dr. Edinger and the staff are top notch. Dr. Edinger has an excellent bedside manner, clearly enjoys his job, and he's very good at it. Our yellow lab had two TPLO operations within a six-month span. She is as fit and lively as ever thanks to Dr. Edinger. The staff is also friendly, attentive, and highly organized. Keep it up!
