Very clean area for dogs to play

At the end of last summer I adopted a 11yo dog with significant health issues, who had never been boarded before and who (supposedly) didn't get along with other dogs....and I had a 10day trip planned. I searched many boarding facilities in the area and none felt quite right until I stumbled upon Kamp K9. The brand new facility is immaculate and state of the art. Dave and Nofo gave my dog individualized care, including medication administration, and allowed him to acclimate to the other dogs at the facility during his first stay there. They give him breaks when playing in the group room is too overwhelming and exhausting for this senior dog. They know him well and treat him like one of their own. I've used them many times since that first long stay. My dog is excited to walk in the door and happily goes and gets settled when I drop him off. I feel grateful that I found them and look at them as a part of my support team for the care of my dog. I pass other dog daycares/boarding facilities (that I had also checked out) on my drive to Kamp K9 - the extra few minutes in the car are worth it! Kamp K9 prides itself on the service they provide to the dogs in their care as well as their owners and my dog and I can attest that this is a true statement!

I've had great experiences with Kamp K-9. My dog is happy to go, and clearly has fun. The staff are very kind, and got to know my dog quickly. The grooming services are great, very convenient when the dog will be there. Scheduling grooming is so much easier when paired with a day at doggy daycare. Highly recommended.

The staff and facility are 5 stars! The trainers are superb and the owner loves every dog that walks through the door. The staff greets you abs your dog like you’re family. My dog ???? is the luckiest dog to be able to be trained by the finest and be in in outstanding facility!

I work locally with long hours, the owner and head trainer have been personally accommodating and easy to reach, helping me out in every situation. They truly are life savers and I owe so much to them. The facility itself is absolutely spotless and when you pick up your dog there is no lingering odor like at other facilities. I highly recommended this place to anyone who truly cares about their dogs.

I just picked up my dog from boarding for 3 days over Thanksgiving. I am extremely impressed with Kamp K-9, the owner Dave and trainer Nofo. Stella has behavioral issues and does not get along with other dogs, and kenneling her always makes me nervous. Dave gave me an incredibly thorough tour of the facility a few weeks prior to her stay. When I dropped Stella off and picked her up, both Dave and Nofo worked with her. They both went the extra mile. It wasn't just a quick drop off and pick up, which as an owner of a dog with behavioral issues really puts me at ease. I now feel comfortable taking her there for future trips knowing she will be in great hands. Dave has done a wonderful job building a beautiful facility, but also knows how to handle and take care of ALL dogs. I can't say enough to state how impressed I was with the whole process. Kamp K9 has been incredible for our puppy! We take advantage of the doggy daycare and day training amenities. Dave, the owner, gave my family tours of the entire facility before registering our puppy. We also met with trainers Nofo and Juliet. Both are incredibly helpful and share techniques for us to use at home with our puppy. We get personalized updates and photos sent to us on days our puppy is at to doggy day care. We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Kamp K9! Thank you Dave, Nofo, Juliet and team!

What an amazing facility! The staff truly love their job and it's reflected on their care they give the dogs. My dog, Bela, loves the staff and the spacious facility. If you are looking for a clean and loving daycare, Kamp K9 is the place to be. Just a heads up, your dog might love it so much you might struggle trying to take them home, I do every time we go to Kamp K9.

I "had" a new 2 month old puppy that was fiercely biting us and had seriously injured my wife. He was very wild and out of control. After 2 months for trying everything and hiring 2 different trainers, we were seriously considering getting rid of this dog. Our vet suggested that a "boot camp" would probably be the best solution to our problems, but when we visited the facility it was not the kind of place we wanted to leave our dog. Their training tactics were very harsh, and the place was not very clean. I called a dog groomer I had used in the past, and they mentioned a new place that had recently opened in Long Grove. We visited them with our puppy, and was totally amazed. The facility was beautiful, CLEAN beyond belief and the head trainer Nofo, and his assistant Juliet, were so very nice and professional in explaining their operation. They took us on a tour of the facility, and we signed up that day. Within a week (5 days) of half day "camp" and training, our puppy started to shine. He is much more manageable, and we're really enjoying our new relationship with him. We just signed up for another week of camp and training. Kamp K-9 is a great organization to deal with, and we highly recommend them. There services also include boarding, and the areas are so clean and beautiful, I wouldn't mind staying there myself. And, there pricing is extremely fair for the great services they provide, and the immaculate facility. This place is a real find. Dennis & Paula

Very Caring place, they take excellent care of my babies. My 2.5 year old malamute cries if I don't take her in the morning, she loves it so much.

The facility is amazing, very clean and spacious. I bring my dog here for daycare usually 1x a week and he loves it, he is always smiling when I drop him off and pick him up. Everyone there is friendly and truly cares about the animals. The location is perfect as it is between my home and office, I highly recommend Kamp K-9. :)

Love Kamp K-9! My 9 month old puppy had a serious resource guarding issue. So serious that a different training company said a three week boot camp was the only way to fix the problem. Kamp K-9 basically trained it out of our dog in one 30 minute session. We’ve been practicing at home and have had zero issues since! They’re great!

Great people, very nice place

What a wonderful addition to the community. We feel very grateful for kamp k-9! Exceptionally clean and friendly staff. They took fantastic care of our Labrador retriever and German shepherd. Their staff truly care about the well-being of their clients. For instance, my German shepherd played too rough during boarding and hurt his leg. Their staff picked up medicine from our vet! We were so relieved and did not have to worry about them while on vacation. They were in excellent hands! We cannot wait to go back! Excited to watch their expansion projects come to life.

Stop taking your pup to those other standard places. If you want your pup to be happy, not stressed, trained, and not smelling like urine at the end of the day....then start using Kamp K9. They truly care about your Dog! Kamp K9 staff is comprised of dog trainers, not just ordinary people looking for a pay check. Its a requirement that the staff must learn your dogs name, tendencies, and behavior so the staff can provide your dog the best experience possible. At our previous doggie day care, our Cockapoo Charlie would shake and tremble as we turn the corner upon arriving at a different day care. Eventually he escaped that day care and ran home. So we had to find a different place. We tried Kamp K9 due to the personal touch, attention, training, and ability to stay and watch your dog from an observation lounge. No secrets to hide at this place. We have taken Charlie here for 6 weeks comprising of twice a week for full day daycare with training. Charlie, a covid pup, went from barking at the staff to being friends in a few visits. Training is going great. We tried 4 night boarding. Charlie did really well overall, ate his food on day 1, we were sent videos of the training, and he wasn't shaking trying to escape when we picked him up. We are very pleased with the staff, the operation, and training. We are relieved that Charlie isn't stressed and doesnt smell when he leaves. He is excited and pulling on the leash when we walk to the doors to drop him off. We are looking forward to the future grooming services and to continue using Kamp K9.

I found Kamp K-9 by sheer good fortune along my usual route to work. They have built a gorgeous facility with everything needed to take care of my dogs during the day. The facility is spacious, the staff is friendly and professional, and most importantly my dogs are happy! I feel confident when I leave my crew to play while I'm away. I'm sure you will too.
