After 2 visits elsewhere with zero help for my sick cat ( who had lost 2 of her 8 lbs by then,) Dr K diagnosed her problem in one visit finding the source under his microscope. It was so rare he had to order the shot for the cure & she is healthy again.

Dr. Kipnis is the best Dr. Ever!!!

When I was 15 years old I adopted a dog that they told us would be flaky and unfriendly. She turned out to be the most loving and awesome dog ever. She lived till 19. When she had deteriorated to the Pont that her back legs just wouldn't work we knew it was time. But this was the great recession of the early 2000's. My mother and I were both out of work. No vet would put her down without payment up front. The only option they gave us was we could drop the dog off in Chicago for a mass kill. We couldn't be there and they wouldn't let us even have the ashes. I couldn't do that so I called around to th vets and they all said the same thing. When I got to Dr K, explained the situation, and he didn't hesitate to say come on in. The level of compassion this clinic has is beyond reproach. You'd be a fool not to come here. I'll never go to another vet EVER!

They are very professional and caring. Not only does the Dr explain everything very well but, he does it in a caring manner. We have had to put down 2 of our furry family recently and the the care and compassion the Dr and staff provide is fantastic. We previously went to a well know Lombard vet and I feel they are quantity over quality! When we had to put down our 21 year old cat they only offered curbside drop off due to the "pandemic". Very cold! Lombard Animal Clinic took care of us at the difficult time and allowed us to be there with her to the end and make availability for us! Can't say enough good about them!! All of our furry family now go here!

Dr. Kipnis is very kind and compassionate, and I really hoped to establish care with him for our three pets. But unfortunately, the practice is poorly run, and our one and only experience trying to do business with Lombard Animal Clinic did not go well. We took our dog to Dr. Kipnis for a mast cell tumor removal surgery, and he was unable to get clean margins on one of the tumors. So, we had to take our dog elsewhere for a revision surgery. I'm happy to report that the second surgery was a success, and our dog is now doing well under the care of a board-certified oncologist. But of course, we had to pay a substantial sum for each surgery. Shortly after the first, unsuccessful surgery, I called Lombard Animal Clinic twice to try and pay our $700 bill. The first time, I was told the credit card machine was down, and the second time (about a week later), I was told that the payment system had been shut down for the day, and the receptionist did not to wish to turn it back on to take my payment. I figured I would eventually receive a bill giving me other payment options, as calling in the payment obviously wasn't working for them. I finally received a bill months later saying our account was over 90 days past due. At this point, I was already paying for our dog's revision surgery (which was about $1,000), so I was hoping Lombard Animal Clinic would be amenable to negotiating down the $700 bill for the first, unsuccessful surgery we had to have redone. I called again during regular business hours when they are purportedly open and left a message indicating I wanted to pay our bill but hoped to discuss the price since I had to have the procedure redone. No response. I called again and left a message explaining that I just wanted to pay the bill, since their non-responsiveness suggested an unwillingness to work with me on the price, and again received no response. I left a third message basically begging someone to call me back and take my payment so this "past due" bill would not be hanging over my head. No response. I had hoped to pay using my Care Credit credit card but never succeeded in getting anyone to take a card payment, and the bill I was sent had zero information about making a payment. Ultimately I had my bank send a check, which took quite a while to get cashed. I have never had to work so hard to get a business to take my money, especially for work that ultimately had to be redone at a substantial additional cost. To date, I have never received a call back from Lombard Animal Clinic and would never try to do business with them again. Very disappointing, especially considering how much we like Dr. Kipnis.

Really great and knowledgeable vet

Dr. Kipnis is the most amazing Veterinarian by far that I've had. He truly cares about your pet and is devoted. My dog almost lost his dew claw, if it were up to other Veterinarians in the area. Dr. Kipnis went the extra mile and saved his toe (dew claw). After he also thought removal might be the answer to. But to my surprise he went extra mile.

Kind and courteous with quality care.

Dr Kipnis is extremely knowledgeable and takes extra care with our fur babies. We moved from the immediate area but still travel to use Lombard Animal Clinic. I would never even consider going anywhere else

First time there! They were so caring! They have a client for life.

We went during the Pandemic. But they were very efficient. Gave us a lot of great advice.

Dr. Kipnis is amazing at getting to the issue. No beating around the bush which is what you want when it comes to your beloved animal. He has fit me in to see me last minute in very pressing times a couple of times. He and his staff genuinely care about animals and have been more than accommodating on two occasions. The staff is very pleasant to deal with and really cares about the animals as well. Highly recommend this clinic. I moved away and still drive 100 miles one way just to see him. Definitely 5 stars. 10 if they were available.

Dr. Kipnis is the best!! The vet techs and Cindy are great too. I had positive experience here and this will be my new vet from now on with all my furry babies! I HIGHLY recommend this vet out of all the ones in the area. :)

Dr. Kipnis clearly cares about each individual animal he sees. He explains their health thoroughly and works hard to solve the problem and keep them happy. The rest of the team is as kind and helpful.

The vet was great ! He spent a lot of time explaining my cats medical problem . I would recommend him and Lombard animal clinic !
