The staff were incredibly welcoming and did their best to address my concerns. I hope they will be our vet for a long time to come!

Great tech. and Dr. A little expensive

All of our animals have been patients of Care Animal Hospitals for over 20 years. I would not even think of going anywhere else. They’ve always been responsive, professional and show an incredible amount of empathy towards both the animals and their family. We’re so glad they’re here to support us and give our animal friends a healthy life!

We have been with Care for 15 years. Couldn’t make that statement if we we not comfortable & confident our family pets are very well taken care of. Doctors communicate clearly with us & answer questions with helpful information. Excellent follow up from staff too.

The staff and veterinarian are always so nice, knowledgeable, compassionate, and patience. One of our dogs was raised during the pandemic and did not get much human or animal interaction outside of our home, so he is leery of people. They always meet him where his comfort level is at and create a safe space for him. Each time we’ve got back he has gotten better and better. I am extremely thankful for the staff & doctors at Care Animal Hospital of Libertyville!

We came to this office from a prior vet office we used for years. We like the flexibility on the times for working parents w/2 super active kids. Always can get us in quickly, very nice staff, helpful to our needs. We have 1 cat that was viewed as aggressive and stressed by the prior vet. We just brought him in for an eye appointment and he was relaxed and not huddled in a corner. World of difference for us.

Very disappointed in this clinic. I brought my cat here several times, had great service. My cat has urinary crystals and I was told by this doctor (and his past doctor) that he will ALWAYS need to be on this food. However, they won't renew my prescription without him being seen for a check up. What a horrible business practice. It's just a way for them to make money.

They took my boy for an appointment within the hour. Flexible scheduling, reasonable prices and excellent follow up care. They even called to confirm when a script has been sent into the pharmacy. The place to be if you have a chronically ill pet. Traded up for way better care.

Loved the place so clean and friendly very professional vets and boarding team Archie loved his stay last weekend .

Ok for starters, THEY HAVE EXOTIC VETS!! The avian vet was performing surgery, but due to my bird's state, they allowed him to come in! Only an hour wait, better than having to wait another day! They even were kind enough to let me bring my other bird with my sick guy, so he wouldn't be alone. The receptionists and techs were so nice and they really do listen to your concerns! They called me and told me they didn't see anything physically wrong, but again they listened to my concerns and helped determine a diagnosis, and gave me medicine to help him. So far day 3 he seems to be more like his normal self, and they even called me today to check up on him! Way more professional than an old vet, and I say it is worth the drive! Will definitely trust them for checkups and emergencies with my little ones! Thank you all!

They squeezed my 5 month old puppy in last minute to preform an emergency surgery after he ate a baby bottle nipple that caused a blockage. The next day I received a call around 5pm that Chase wasn’t getting better and they’d have to do a second surgery.. Chase is here today because these doctors put my puppy’s life first and everything else second. Thank you for saving Chase.

I brought our puppy in as a walk in patient. She was greeted promptly and was squeezed into the schedule. The staff (vet, techs, reception) were all friendly. The vet was especially patient with all my questions. I was most impressed with the follow up call to see how our puppy was responding to the medication.

Belle loves the staff there and has no fear! That tells me so much more than I can glean on my own! There isn't anything that I would change. You guys ROCK!

Went here about 8-10 times. Every single appointment I went there for there was an issue with them forgetting a medication, not having a medication, not examining my dog because she was "too anxious". I mean...they refused to examine my 40 lbs dog because she was... anxious. I was baffled by this. Do they just turn away bigger dogs with anxiety ? They will suggest the most expensive route and do whatever they can to get you into the office to squeeze out whatever money they can from you. Stay away. Highly unsatisfied and saddened by the quality of professionalism here. Nice facility though.

I took my red eyed tree frog there (my first time going there) and they were incredible! I was happy to find a place close to me that will see amphibians, and for pretty cheap too! Normally it’s very expensive to get an exotic animal seen so I was pleased about the price, which was nearly 20 dollars cheaper than other places I called. The interior was beautiful, clean, and very spacious. The staff were incredibly friendly and the vet who saw my frog was kind and informative! I was in and out of there in half an hour, they work fast yet efficiently. They even followed up the next day and asked me how my frog was doing. They seem to care a lot about the animals they see! Love this place!

Great staff. Always takes good care of our dog and cats. Very compassionat when we recently had to put one of our beloved cat to sleep. Explained the situation completely and gave us all the options, but we did not want to prolong her suffering.

This was my first time at your facility. I was treated as if I had been coming there for a long time. Thank you for taking care of and explaining Snowballs' teeth issues. :)

I needed to find a vet for a follow up for a procedure done to his ear. I called one place and they couldn't take me in but referred me to care. They told me they were booked but they called me doctor and evaluated my case and put me in for a spot. Great first impression. Then the doctor addressed some concerns I had that two previous practices never addressed. But what really stood out and made me a true beliver of their services was a simple follow up call. The fact that they called me two days after to see how dante was doing really made me feel sooooo valued and showed they cared. hence the name. I couldnt be more happy. They may not notice how much of a impact they made. I have a follow up for wednesday and I can not wait to get a action plan to help my boy live a more comfortable life. Thanks again to the staff and doctors at Care. I think I may have found my forever home for my boys. Thanks again

Best animal care ever ! Have seen 2 vets. You guys are great. The office is lovely, very calming. Especially like the candle for a pet crossing over the rainbow bridge. So thoughtful! I have seen 2 different vets and like them both. I will remain a client forever. I came here when my dog was limping and my usual vet could not see him for a week - so unacceptable for my furry child. I was converted at our first visit which was the following morning.

I can't say enough about how wonderful Care Animal Hospital of Libertyville is! The staff is very friendly and takes extra precaution to make my anxious pup feel at home. The facility is impeccable and not to mention beautiful. We have had a wonderful experience with Dr. Dave Luaces - he is very knowledgeable and passionate about giving the best care to his patients. Have two dogs that we have taken here. A couple years back, they shaved our dog's wrong leg and almost performed an ACL procedure on the wrong leg. This past week, I have had a serious health problem with my dog and called Care Animal on Hospital. I called on Friday and was told a vet would call me back by day's end. No Call. Called again on Saturday and was told same thing again. It is Monday and still have not heard back. I will be switching to a new vet immediately.

I LOVE Care Animal Hospital!!! I adopted a cat a few years ago that has had numerous health concerns. I brought him to two other vets and spent hundreds of dollars to no avail. Care has the only veterinarians that could not only give me an answer to my cat's problems but also provide effective treatment. As a young pet owner, I am especially grateful that Care is willing to work with me to keep the cost of my cat's medical needs as reasonable as possible. They have been nothing but kind, professional, and helpful. Their app is also useful to have, as it stores all past and future information. I have nothing but positive things to say about Care Animal Hospital, and cannot recommend them enough!!!

Dr. Luaces and his staff are THE BEST! Their dedication & professionalism are unmatched. They take the time to listen & care enough to follow-up. Dr. Luaces has treated our dog, who is very medically challenged, since he was a puppy. We recently moved & changed vets- HUGE MISTAKE! We now drive an hour to take our dog back to Dr. Luaces because he is truly the best vet in Illinois!

Had an appointment and at the time of the appointment, no one answered the phone, and no one was in the lobby to check us in....waited 10 minutes. Later called the vet and they said they had a staff meeting that ran late, and was going to call me....apparently they don’t have anyone stay at the front desk or answer the phones, even when they know there are scheduled appointments.

CAH was very concern about my cat and handle him with kit gloves. They worked with me to keep ne in my budget. I felt they valued me and my pet. Unlike my last vet in Mundelein where I was a dollar sign and those people killed my other cat.

I love this place. Dr. Willeford is the bomb. Thank you for everything and caring so much for Gracie :)
