Staff was very friendly and Dr.Mike is wonderful. I got answers to all my questions without rushing. Dr.Mike also suggested a healthy pet plan with food n activity. My pet got his vaccinations. Had to wait a bit but overall v.good experience with Companion Animal hospital.

Friendly, professional staff, and Dr. Marrinan is wonderful. Kind, gentle, tranquil with both the patient and us humans. Every question I had was answered thoroughly, never rushed. Competent, caring, compassionate. Their new office space is great, too: comfortable, solid, and squeaky clean. And I've appreciated their careful health protocols during covid. Very glad to be with this veterinary practice and would recommend them to anyone.

I did show up to my scheduled appointment, I was in the waiting room with my dog, the nurse said I might have to wait a little longer than usual, I told her that’s fine and I could come back later today, she said that a vet will be with you shortly so it’s no use, I waited then the nurse came back and told me that there’s no vet available today. They even assured that I would be coming an hour before I came with a phone call, waste of time. Searching for a new vet currently, another money eager vet. ????

I am new to being a doggie dad but they made me feel very comfortable and Ollie warmed up to the staff and doctor fast and loved the attention.

I am Used to family practice vets. So When I had to change to a cookie cutter big time animal hospital I was afraid. I did have to go through a few doctors but that is how it is. I found MICHAEL MARRINAN, D .V.M. HE takes care of my 2 cats and Dog. I think He is mid age to so he is willing to learn all the new Vet stuff. Get Him if you want someone that treats your animal like family and not now serving number 32. Also Amazing Staff! Go Lisa! I forgot to Add a a couple things! So I can only lift 20 pounds so they helped bring them in and out of the car. The other thing is I thing when they take the pet in the backroom and you cant watch they are giving them I just do not like that, So! if you ask they will do it in front of you!

Took my puppy here twice and I had been telling them she was having runny stool, they overlooked it for 2 weeks and kept giving me medication to harden her stool and told me she was fine. I took her to a different animal hospital and they told me she had a intestinal infection. You would think after running $500 worth of tests they would catch this the first time. Very disappointed

Couldnt say nicer things about this practice. I am from out of state and had an animal that needed medical attention. They were so accommodating and helpful. If I lived in this area, this is absolutely the place my animals would go.

We have been so happy with the care our pets receive here. Very thorough in examination, explanation and recommendations!

I went in for emergency urgent care as our usual veterinary hospital was closed this 4th of July weekend. Not only did they see us but we were given availability options and never once rushed the entire time . It was assuring already over the phone even though I was in a panicked state, I mean this is my precious baby injured. I honestly didn’t let my family around her that’s how guarded I was. Once we got there every aspect of the experience was ideal. I was blown away by the care, ease, and level of efficiency and bedside manner of all the staff and Dr. Mike. I honestly didn’t think it was possible to have such a flawless experience start to finish especially under the circumstances. My girl is nowhere near out of the woods but I have full confidence this place is going to follow up and help me make decisions and ensure the comfort of my pet every step of the way. I literally asked them if and how we could make them our new care providers before we even checked out. I don’t know how I was taking her our previous vet before this place. Honestly coming here is going to be the best choice you make for your pet and your sanity.

A fantastic local animal hospital that takes great care of your pet. I only recently started going to Companion Animal Hospital at Lake Zurich, and I could not be happier with my decision. The staff is so caring, knowledgeable and kind. They have gone out of their way to help and it means more to me than I can express. Thank you!

Companion Animal hospital Lake Zurich are very caring, nonjudgemental, and knowledgeable. My dog got spayed and they were patient and answered all questions. This was the 2ed visit and each one we were greeted with friendly staff. Jasmine her tech was gentle and caring with her. So happy we found this vet!

Updated review 6/8/21: The Companion Animal family continues to provide us superb service! We just had one of our kitties get a dental and tooth extraction. The level of patience and professionalism displayed by all who helped our kitty today was wonderful! We are always thankful that they take time to provide details of procedures. Thanks for another great visit!! We love the Companion Animal family. They always are so kind! We love that they listen patiently as we detail what is going on, and they provide solutions that are well described by both the vet and nurses. We highly recommend this vet!

For starters this is hands down the best clinic I have visited from the front desk to the doc. I brought my cat in for a urinary blockage as he has experienced it multiple times. I brought him here for the first time as the prices were much more reasonable. I paid a quarter less here than any other vet. The doc and front desk cares and breaks down all the numbers so there’s no surprise bill. They go in-depth on what and why they are doing certain procedures and this gave peace of mind as an owner. The doc is great as he truly cares for his patients and the owner. He thoroughly explains and provides suggestions and never makes you feel like you know less regarding animal care. He went into depth on the care for the animal and is always happy to take phone calls if there are any unsure questions. The staff is the best by far, with a smile always on their face. I’ve called multiple times for questions regarding my cat and they always provide an in-depth answer. They don’t rush phone calls until your question is answered. They are always happy to take phone calls and make you feel welcomed. I’ve had to pleasure to talk to Lisa over the phone and she brings positivity to the clinic. She has answered all my questions multiple times and always clears up any confusion or uncertainty regarding my cat. I don’t live close to the clinic but it’s very worth it. Thank you Companion for taking care of Cinnabon!

The office to the vets were extremely helpful with helping me with my puppy. They addressed any questions I had and were very professional and understanding. Definitely will return and use them for my puppies vet needs.

Our dog Titan was very sick and when our local vet said they couldn’t see him for 2 weeks (due to COVID) we called Companion in Lake Zurich who got us in right away. Lisa at the front desk sounded caring and understood we were worried. She even texted us to let us know of a cancellation to get us in sooner. Sadly, we found out our poor boy has a tumor. The doctor called us after meeting him and reviewing his X-rays. The doctor was so compassionate as my husband and I cried to hear the news and I truly felt comfort in her words. She said she could hear how much he was loved. We have him on steroids now, hoping that will make him more comfortable until our sons come in from out of town and have a chance to say goodbye to our “pretty boy”. I have been looking to switch my dogs to a new vet. Dr Marrinan and staff have been very responsive and pleasant. He took a lot of time to learn about them and give advice. Seems to be the small practice feel I’m looking for.
