The Barker Shop La Grange, Illinois

We love the Barker Shop. We adopted our dog from Bark from the Heart, and we always buy our dog food and treats from the Barker Shop. We also bring him in for grooming and nail trimming. The staff at the shop are always kind and helpful.

We have been bringing our dog here for several years. Unfortunately the service has recently taken a noticeable decline.

Went here to finalize our new addition to our family through Bark from the Heart rescue. KATHY deets is a wonderful person to run this a d her shop.

I haven't taken my dogs here yet, but my godparents uses to bring their dog here all the time and swear by their impeccable service! Now, if I could just get my dogs in there... they are so popular that you'll need to book your appointments weeks in advance.

They have handled the grooming of each of my Service Dogs. I am currently on my 3rd partner. I would not take my Service Dogs anywhere else!

LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH, THEY ARE KIND, LOVELY, AND VERY RESPONSABLE WITH ALL LITTLE FOR LEGS. VERY NICE PEOPLE ALL OF THEM. WE ARE SO HAPPY FINDING THE BARKERS SHOP MANY YEARS AGO,STRONGLY RECOMMENDED PRETTY SURE THEY DON'T NEED IT. BUT, THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR WONDERFUL JOB.

We love The Baker Shop.. my dog however does not. He doesn’t enjoy being groomed.. at all. The Team at the Barker knows this and they do everything to keep our guy happy and get him in and out quickly! A great job every time!

Small but a nice pet store with friendly associates

They cancelled on me twice in one week and while it was nice they continue to apologize it's not good customer service.

I had our dog groomed there today and after owning dogs that for 30 years that required grooming I have never had such a bad experien ce . I have contacted the breeder and sent her pictures. She said they may have ruined my dogs coat forever. Beware ! This business came on a recommendation and was twice as expensive as any dog groomer I have used. Now my dog is bald.

Love them, ,and most importantly is that my baby is happy!!! I am thankful for all of them .They are amazing!!!

Friendly and kind staff. My dog cuddled right up to them when having nails trimmed. It was so sweet to watch!

Wife loves brining the dog here even though we have a groomer closer to home. She always appreciates the quick turnaround time when it comes to nails and has always been treated well on every visit. Will continue coming.

Kaya enjoys her spaw day at the Barker Shop. Mario is her favorite. She always looks, smells, and feels awesome when I pick her up. Too bad it only lasts until she ventures out in the rain or snow. Doggie scotchgard?

Friendly staff, clean, like that you can see into groom area, nice selection in the retail portion of shop. My groomer (Alise)did a great job, and even went over my technique hand stripping at home.Wish there was a small waiting area as I travel an hour for a speciality groom service that takes hours and dont want to drive home and back.

Love when our little fur babies get groomed here! We won’t go anywhere else!

I love the Barker Shop!!! I have a German Shepard mix, he's 100 lbs of loving. I have taken him to different locations trying to find one place that would actually do a deep desheding, this place is the place to go!! Kathy and Mary are so great, very personable. Always welcoming when we go in. Bronx's fur stays shinny, I don't have to take him every month like before, huge plus for him and us, we don't have half the amount of lose hair to vacuum! Thank you so much for taking such awesome care of Bronx, we won't be going anywhere else.

Great place for grooming. We had our Welsh terrier groomed by Novi.

My English bulldog usually gets stressed out at the vet when I get her nails done until I started bringing her here. She still does a little bit but no where near as much. The ladies are great with Charlotte and they get them done very fast. No more vet for me!!

The best and only grooming shop I will ever take my dog to. Extremely professional, they always do what's best for the dog while trying to do everything the customer wants. They will work with ANY dog, including sketchy, bitey escape artists like my border collie. They are extremely knowledgeable and helpful, not only with grooming but also with your dog's diet and supplements. The owner of this place is an amazing, wonderful human being with the biggest heart and many talents, including beautiful photography. There's just nothing negative I can say about The Barker Shop. They saved my Boomer many years ago and continue to be a big part of his life today, even though we moved to Nebraska! (Yes, I still drive to Illinois several times a year to visit The Barker Shop and it is the ONLY place I trust with my dog). Simply the best!

Very well run and you can tell how much the staff loves dogs. Tracey is wonderful.
