Sonic is never impressed with the thought of being groomed. But the owners love this and Monica’s is the best place in chicago. Friendly , enthusiastic, good value and most importantly - they love your dog.

Millie my standard poodle loves going she gets groomed every 6 weeks but in between gets a bath..she is a princess

Monica is a fantastic groomer, and a wonderful person. She is so gentle and treats each animal as if it were her own. The dogs love her and are happy to be dropped off with Monica. She is kind and caring to the owners too. Her services are beyond compare, and her dedication and commitment are truly admirable. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Not very accommodating ! If late no flexability to fit you in! Then charges you for missed appointment???

Beware she charges for boarding if you are late picking up. She texted one hour after dropping off our dog and if you don't drop everything and rush over, she charges extra. My daughter was sick from school and I was charged $50 for cut and $50 for boarding. Kinda scammy.

Great dog grooming. Monica and her staff are great with dogs. Both my dogs are always ready in an hour.

My basset hound is always clean and happy when I pick her up. Staff is always pleasant. I drive over 40 mins to this groomer because of my great experiences.

Monica and staff were amazing with my two brother beagles that usually are afraid of going ANYWHERE. Because of Covid, I watched through the windows as they went from nervously walking in with a stranger to becoming extremely curious and happy to wander around the clean facility. They both came out smelling and looking amazing and happy as can be in a VERY timely fashion! Never in my life did I think they would be so good for a groomer!! Thank you!! ????

Great job with our dog daisys nails

Would not recommend. Took my doodle to get groomed and she came home nipping at her behind. When we looked closer at it we could very clearly see the line the clippers make across the skin on her behind. Poor baby was so uncomfortable and was even sitting in weird positions. Who know how she feels going potty! Never taking her back. Matted fur should not end with a line from clippers running across her butt.

We found Monica's after some good reviews online and absolutely recommend them! We have a 2-year old Wheaten Terrier (the sweetest but reportedly not the easiest pup to groom as he will wiggle and tell you if he doesn't like something). All three of the ladies I spoke to at Monica's were above and beyond friendly, professional, and sweet. They reviewed how we wanted him to be groomed and then TWO ladies checked in with me when I picked him up to ensure that I was pleased with how he looked. They also reviewed how he did with them (and seemed to behave much better too, probably because he liked them!). It was one of the best grooming jobs he's had to date - and he was very calm and happy when I picked him up! Usually he's a little high strung after he is groomed so this was wonderful to see. Fantastic service, fair prices, and they take great care of your dog.

Not very happy! Took my doodle to get groomed. Made it clear that we liked the shaggy look and wanted no more then half the length taken off. He was shaved!!! She said that she would call if there were matts and if he needed to be shorter and I never received a call. He has chunks of fur missing, you can see where the razor was used as there was no blending at all and it is not even. The feet look so bad. A 2 year old could do better. I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone

There were no hair dryers in the room. Hotel was trying to upgrade their hotel, however very shoddy craftsmanship. Poor paint job in the rooms. A/C kept shutting off. Bath towels & wash cloths were dirty and stained badly.

My baby boy Harley Davidson Smith loves coming to get groomed. He is losing his sight and hearing so it is important to have patience and be gentle. Monica is very kind and understands that. I appreciate that appointments are timely, in about an hour from drop off. Some groomers take all day while the dogs wait in que which is really frustrating because it is stressful on my senior boy. Make appointments well in advance bcz she fills up fast! Thanks Monicas Superior K-9!
