Not cheap in any aspect. The dog they sold me was $2,000 and it ended up being deaf with bladder problems they obviously do not care about the welfare of their animals just making sales. Puppy classes are the same every Sunday, and cover the same stuff. The class was helpful but it would be pointless to go to a second one. Exceptional staff, but they will encourage you to buy unnecessary product. All of their animals are at least two times if not three times what they should actually be asking. I've heard they buy from puppy mills and it would honestly make complete sense.

QUESTION THE STAFF ABOUT VACCINES BEFORE BUYING PUPPIES FROM THIS PETLAND LOCATION!!! THIS IS A SCAM!!! I was told that my puppy only needed 2 more shots left to complete all her vaccinations. However, I was told INCORRECTLY. I was scammed. The Petland vet gave my puppy her vaccinations incorrectly. Because of this, I have to get all her shots all over again with money out of my pocket. The vaccinations my puppy received (i.e., Parvo, etc) is considered obsolete since Petland did not wait the appropriate time to get the next set of vaccines. Her next set of vaccines were given a week after her first set which is incorrect. This makes the shots obsolete. My current vet told me that her second round should have been 3-4 weeks after her first shot. Thus, her vaccine records that were given to me were COMPLETELY useless. This is absurd considering how much I paid for her + I was also under the impression and told MULTIPLE TIMES that she was almost fully vaccinated before buying her. This is conveying false information, and this is completely unacceptable to scam customers like this. Additionally, the staff member who sold me my puppy seemed like she didn't know ANYTHING, making me question if they even care about the puppies health at all. I have contacted Petland Customer Service, hoping to get some reimbursement or credit. PLEASE ASK LOTS OF QUESTIONS BEFORE BUYING.

I was asked to play with one of the less socialized dogs while there by a pet councilor. All the dogs I played with were amazingly sweet and well behaved for their age.

This chain gets their puppies from puppy mills. We adopted from a shelter who had the original paperwork from the previous owner. I looked up the breeder and they had over 200 dogs on the property when ours was born. There is no way Petland would not have seen that during their visits prior to purchasing so they are knowingly purchasing from mills.

a year ago I called and checked on some puppies they had. The staff there started to get short with me and upset when I asked where they got there dogs from and it they had any documents of proof that they came from a reputable breeder since they did tell me it was a pure bred Boston terrier. Due to this I decided they were to shady and looked elsewhere. I ended up adopting a mixed breed shelter puppy. Now a year later out of curiosity I checked their puppy page... every single picture is the same picture I saw a year ago. They look the same age and there are no new picture or listing for any puppies. I truly believe this place is a scam buying from backyard breeders and needs to be shut down.

Staff are very friendly. Puppies all seam to be happy and healthy. Very happy with our new puppy. Madisyn was a big help in finding the correct puppy for us.

Over $1k for a dog with a 5 day health warranty? Not me. Don't even know if parents were tested for genetic defects. Too much for too little. Don't want to fall in love with a puppy that may croak next week.

We came to see some dogs and the first one we went in for a playtime with was a biter. He was getting pretty aggressive so we asked Nick the manager to take him back for us and he ignored us because he was "stressed out" as another worker told us. Both of us got bit several times and were told it's just a puppy thing- but it was definitely much worse then regular puppy biting. I feel bad for whoever's takes him home and has to deal with trying to train him. Petland needs to learn to be more polite and attentive with customers. I dont care how stressed you are, it's not okay to be rude.
