The staff was very rude. Every time I spoke to them over the phone they sounded annoyed and used a condescending tone. I do not recommend giving this place your business!

A little bit of miscommunication had inconvenienced my partner and I, but most of the staff were accommodating to our full time schedules. In the end of what seemed to be a long journey, we decided to get not one, but TWO kittens. They take good care of the animals, the area around said animals, and customers. They have lots of information on the animals and how to care for them, which was nice since these are my first cats. The staff was very patient while my partner and I were choosing our kittens. Not to mention they have so many kittens to choose from. Nice people, I recommend this place to anyone! Keep it up guys!

we wanted to adopt a kitten but the denied our application and the reasoning being we had a dog that was not spayed and thus the could not allow us to adopt a Cat for what ever reason

I saw someone throw a dog out of a car and I stopped to get him. He was a sweet yorkie terrier named Buddy and he stayed with me for a few days while I tried to find the owner. I took him to a vet to see if he had a chip, and after calling the number several times and leaving several voicemails the owner never replied. I decided I wanted to adopt him but to do the right thing I took him to the IC shelter in case he possibly had other owners who were looking for him. When the time came to get him, I was informed by the woman who runs the shelter that they would not be adopting him out and instead they were going to PUT HIM DOWN because he was aggressive around other dogs. I begged her to let me take him, and that I would sign any waiver because I don't have any other pets. She refused and ended up killing the dog I begged to adopt. This happened several years ago and I am still traumatized by it. Please do not donate or support this heartless organization. They do not care about the animals who are unfortunate enough to find their way there.

An incredible place for animals to stay while homes are found. I'm always amazed at what they can accomplish!

Staff was rude and need to learn social skills when working with public.

Staff are very kind, friendly and informative. We made an appointment and got to meet a senior cat who adopted us. There is a very detailed application process so expect to have several days to a week wait. Wonderful way to be sure you and your furry friend are right for each other.

i went here to hand over a hurt stray i found in my neighborhood to be met by a woman who was in tears saying they adopted out their families dog. they said that their dog broke out of the fence and they had been looking for two days. the dog was chipped but the owners were still not notified. apparently they made no attempts to contact the new family and try and fix this miscommunication.

Great place to visit, donate, and when the time is right, to rescue a pet! Ten years ago I adopted my one of a kind cat Zim and thankfully I still can't imagine life without him. The new facility is so cool!

Love this place! I've gotten all of my pets from here, from guinea pigs to dogs, and all of them are amazing! I don't like that they are a kill shelter but the staff are very nice and caring to the pets and when meeting with them (the dogs) they are super happy! There is no loss for entertainment for the dogs and I love how the staff can tell you information on the dogs personalities! Our family adopted a dog named Izzy from here almost four years ago. Izzy is 6-9 years old, (she was a stray) and is happy and healthy! They found the best dog for our family and I would 100% go back!
