Dr. Ebert and her staff couldn’t be more caring. The first time we visited, we had just moved to town and were apprehensive about getting to know a new vet. That feeling quickly dissipated! They were able to get her in very quickly and Dr. Ebert then spent at least a half hour pulling ticks from our pup (we had no clue ticks could be that bad in late fall!). Our second visit was just as good as the first! Excellent veterinary care, customer service, and attention to Covid precautions!

Super friendly, they wear masks and do carside service. The vet came out and explained everything to us, and we really appreciated that. Will definitely be coming back!

Very caring and helpful during a crisis

Dr. Ebert was very helpful and patient! She provided excellent explanations and suggestions for our questions as well and a good follow up plan.

My cat was going through quite the year of interesting problems from frequent accidents outside of the litter box to losing a lot of weight within a year. After a few tests later, it was found out that she has diabetes. We're always welcome there, even if my cat tends to voice her opinion against Dr. Ebert and everyone else there.

This place doesn’t even deserve a star. I initially went here because I was forced to, in order to retain the warranty on my dog after purchasing it from Petland. If you’re already judging me for that, keep in mind, they’re the ones in business with them. To get to the point, they are not clean, they are not professional, and they will try to set you up for extra charges every chance they get. Everything you don’t want in a Vet right? I don’t want go on and on about how bad it is. So...Heed my warning!!! At the very least, what do you have to lose by going to another location to compare, if you’ve already gone here first. I looked up a five star location, Animal Kingdom in North Liberty and quickly realized I had cheated myself by continuing my visits here after the initial one I was required to set for the warranty. You will too! Animal kingdom is what you should expect. Extremely friendly, extremely clean, professional, and less expensive!

I have been taking my animals to Dr. Ebert for over twenty five years. She is an awesome, no nonsense vet. Always accommodating, and very caring. Even when called in the middle of the night! the staff are all great, and the office cats are also really great. I trust her with all of my animals, and know they will get great care with her and her staff!

We came in late one afternoon and needed emergency help. Both the vet and her tech stayed after close to help and treated my pet's most immediate needs before sending me to an emergency care clinic. Fair pricing and friendly service. Highly recommended.

Took very good care of my new pet!

The staff and vet are straight to the point with their services which is amazing for time but also because they will not spend 40 minutes trying to convince you to spend money on shots or products that you don’t need. I have been going here for about a year now and they have never failed to care for my pets. I have even called several times when my dog is sick or if I’m concerned about anything and every time, they explain to me what i need to do and schedule me or calm me down. They are very personable and caring. To address the one star reviews I’ve read: - the animals that someone said are “running loose” are cats that they have adopted from shelters that now have a safe and consistent home - from my experience, the staff is not rude. As i said, they are the only reasonably priced clinic in the area and are very busy because of that. It’s important when you’re receiving a service from someone to remember that they are human and you are not their only client. If you feel like an employee is acting like you don’t exist, take a step back and observe if they are actually just in the middle of something, be patient, and then re-approach the situation. If you are unhappy with not being the center of attention then go to Tender Hearts vet clinic or Eastside vet clinic. You’ll pay three times as much but I’m sure they’ll suck up to you for it.

Very experienced Vet and Staff. Our new 2 month old puppy was not eating and they told us just what to do to get him going. If we lived in Iowa City, she would have been the Vet we would have chosen to go to, great place to take your animal children to????

Traveling in motorhome with our old Dober girl. Arrived in Amana, Iowa for a rally and, had to say"goodbye" to our beloved Abby ????. Incredibly caring pet clinic. Would recommend highly for pet care. Thank you so much for all your help and support.

Very pleased with service I have received there and staff is always amazing. Been going there for about 8 years and never once had any problems or concerns like I have with other places.

We went to Gentle Heart for a checkup for our new kitten and I absolutely LOVED Dr. Ebert. She was fabulous in how she took care of our little guy, and she was thorough in explaining everything that needed to be done for him as well as set up a timeline for vaccinations. The clinic is a lovely place with cats roaming the office. Neat place. I plan on going back!
