Yesterday we had to say goodbye to our beloved princess Belle this was definitely a challenging time for us but the staff were absolutely amazing. Every staff member showed us compassion and answered all of our questions they walked us through the entire process and let us have as much time as we needed. I can't thank Hinsdale animal hospital enough for helping us get through this challenging time.

Punctual. Clean. Welcoming on 1st visit.

We live in Morris but when it’s time to say goodbye to our fur babies, we choose to bring them here. They offer great pricing and we bring them ourselves over to the crematorium for private cremation. If we did this in our own town, it would sadly cost us twice as much and I’m not sure the experience would be as pleasant. The staff and doctors have been so kind and comforting during our visits. They take extra care, talk you through everything, and do not rush you at all. They always send us a handwritten card with their condolences. They go above and beyond and it’s truly appreciated, especially in times of heartbreak.

Prices are high. My guess is because of the Hinsdale address. Service was adequate, but nothing that would cause me to return here in favor of the same service elsewhere at a lower cost.

Saw Dr Plomin today for a weird spot on our pooch. She was very sweet and patient with our scared boy while spending the time to not make us feel rushed. Love the new facility, also. Staff is very nice as well!

There is absolutely nothing negative to write about this place...The People, the facility and the atmosphere are very pleasant.

I have been bringing my dog here for the last two and a half years since I got her as a puppy, this is where I bring her to the vet, for grooming, doggy day care and vaccines, the only thing I haven't done here is boarding. The staff is very friendly, patient and I have never had any issues.

I can not Thank the staff enough for making sure Ophelia is as comfortable as possible during her visits. Deaf dogs can be a bit shy and they are absolutely amazing each visit!

I wish I could give it 0 stars. My experience at Hinsdale Animal Hospital was very unprofessional and quite honestly unbelievable. Their app was showing that my dog was overdue for the Distemper, Lyme and Influenza vaccines. I double checked MY records and found that my dog had received her Distemper vaccine last month (Hinsdale Animal Hospital records were incorrect). I called the hospital and spoke with Hannah who confirmed I was correct and their system was incorrect. She also mentioned she would update the system to the correct vaccine date. I came in later that day and checked my dog in with the receptionist Allie/Aly and said I would like to get the Lyme and Influenza vaccines. They took my dog back and brought her back shortly after and told me she had received the DISTEMPER, Lyme and Influenza vaccinations. I asked Allie why they gave my dog the Distemper vaccine when she already had it last month and I also never asked for it when I checked in. She checked the records and saw that I was once again correct. She was very unprofessional — never apologized to me and quite honestly got mad at me for calling them out. They mentioned the extra vaccine ‘won’t hurt my dog’ and that she’ll be okay. Really horrible experience with both Hannah and Ally at Hinsdale animal hospital. It is on the vet to keep proper records of vaccinations and respect what vaccinations people ask for upon arrival / check in. Neither happened today and I am beyond frustrated regardless of that fact that ‘it won’t hurt my dog’. Unbelievable experience. Be careful with this place and keep proper records of all your vaccines - they can’t seem to do it themselves.

My first time there, and I love it.

I'm very aggravated with this place. I've been taking my pitbull for over a year here for his allergies to the point that he's not walking or eating cuz he's in so much pain. I decided to get a second opinion with the hanover park vet and they gave us medicaided shampoo and food to bring home. He is already looking so much better after months of suffering. This place just kept sucking my money away giving us $200 antibiotics. Also they never told us we had to stop giving him apoquel while giving him steroids. I will never take my dog back.

I was visiting from out of state and my 6 month old puppy became very sick with persistent diarrhea on the road trip here. When it did not clear up after 4 days, I was able to get a same day "work-in" appointment at Hinsdale Animal Hospital, after being turned away by four other local vets. They were very thorough with x-rays to rule out a blockage, checking the medical history from my vet at home, and physical exam. The anti-biotics, diet instruction, and probiotics cleared up the condition in two days and saved our visit with our son and new grandbaby! I am so very grateful to them for seeing my puppy and for their excellent care.

They were caring and attentive. Never felt rushed. Absolutely terrific! Five stars without a doubt!

I picked up my soldiers dog while they were out of town. The staff were so nice, prompt and friendly bringing out her dog.

Love it here. Dr sukki not sure of spelling was super nice and thorough! Really great! Their wellness plans are 100 percent worth it! I have the silver plan and may possibly in future move up to gold plan. This is by far the best animal vet/ hospital around here! ,????

Thank you so much to everyone who has been asking how baby Bear is. The Hinsdale animal hospital was wonderful. Bear saw Dr. Ashmalla and we found out that he was initially given a medicine at hillchester that he should not have been given. He was in pretty bad shape when we got home on Saturday. The kennel cough seemed to be getting better but he was breathing so hard it was scary. When I called hillchester on Monday they said I could either drop him off Tuesday(today) and he could sit in a kennel and be seen in between appointments but they had no idea how long he would sit in a cage or I could schedule an appointment for next week. No thank you to making my little man stay in a cage and wait to be seen when he was just there two weeks prior. The medication they gave me refills on was one that the new vet had no idea why they would have prescribed it. So he took 2 rounds of medication of a pill he shouldn't have been taking in the first place. Dr. Ashmalla gave him a furosemide injection to help with the fluid he may have gotten in his lungs and another round of antibiotics which is what Bear should have been taking another round of to begin with. Today his breathing is almost back to normal and he hasn't coughed at all. He is wagging his tail and jumping around which he hasn't done in weeks. His tail is still not up all the time but... baby steps. Tomorrow he will be getting an echo done to check his lungs and heart to be sure it isn't anything more severe. She wants to cover all her bases to make sure that there isn't anything more severe going on since Bear does have a heart murmur. Please keep sending him all the love and positive vibes. My little guy is a trooper and we love him so much. ????

Worst Animal Hospital.. DO NOT GO HERE! They just get you in and out and are too busy to handle customers and their pets properly!

They are very helpful and knowledgeable, especially with the pandemic they have no problem spending the time you require on the phone going over your concerns and explaining things

I was so impressed with Hinsdale Animal Hospital. They worked my guinea pig in quickly for an emergency and provided thorough and thoughtful care at a reasonable price. Highly recommend!

We have been bringing our cats here for 3 years now, and have had nothing but great experiences. They helped us diagnose an emergency with our cat’s urethra and give us recommendations on procedures to fix the issue. They have been caring for our cats w/ shots and medications throughout this time very well. They additionally answer all of our crazy questions about our cats, and helped us get them on a diet when they became overweight. They respond to emails and calls quickly. Their prices are very reasonable and even better that they take PetAssure. We not take our dog here and they have been equally as great with husky who we had adopted from a local shelter. They were able to give him the care he needed after he left the shelter, and again answering our crazy questions always! Amazing facility and now my friends and family comes here as well!

My dog misdiagnosed. She is now dead. Money hungry. I'm so heartbroken. Never ever bringing my other dogs there. So ????

Excellent People that love and care for your pets!

I brought my cat, Diesel, to Hinsdale Animal Hospital when he was very ill and my previous vet was dismissive of my concerns. Dr. Zgrabik was able to properly diagnose him and get him feeling better. When we hit another rough patch Dr. Ashawalla treated him and got him back on his feet. It is because of them I got more quality time with my buddy. Unfortunately, I had to make the difficult decision to say goodbye yesterday and Dr. Ashawalla made sure both he and I were comfortable and helped him pass peacefully with dignity. Everyone from the front desk staff to the vet techs to the vets is absolutely wonderful and your pets will be in excellent hands. The vets truly listen to you and are always responsive to questions and concerns. I will continue to bring my other cat and any future pets to this clinic.

Words cannot Express how comfortable I am bringing my fur baby here. We were in a very crucial emergency back in October. This animal hospital was the only one able to give us a same day appointment. The doctors are amazing, carter loves his doctor! Everyone there is so compassionate. I wish I could leave 10 stars!

All the staff is so friendly! Especially Amie at the front desk! All the techs are kind and loving to all the fur babies! And I can’t say enough good things about the Doctors! I trust every one of them to take care of my pets! The kennel staff keeps a clean and tidy room and gives the pets extra love during their stay! And the groomer Conny, will make your pet look like they came off the runway! Hinsdale is AMAZING!
