Glenview Animal Hospital Glenview, Illinois

Our family dog Cocoa had some health issues early in December, which we took him in for some testing on. He passed peacefully at home but the staff at Glenview Animal Hospital treated him the way we did; with love and respect. We brought him in to be cremated and the staff was so attentive and kind and patient with us while we said our final goodbyes. I can't thank the techs and the front desk staff enough for making something so hard for me, somehow so easy.

Have been taking our dogs to Dr Dave and his colleagues for more than 25 years. Our newest is there today for a quick procedure. Always responsive, caring and straightforward. Cannot recommend them more highly.

The office is also very nice and clean and the vet techs and support staff are all very nice. They truly care about your pet and you!

I am sad to say I do not recommend this place nor will I ever go back. 3 1/2 years ago I brought in my 8 yr old cat for annual check up with Dr Kanter and was told my cat has stage 5 tooth resorption disease in P3 area and that she may have more teeth with this problem ( i still have the note from the meeting 3 1/2 yrs ago) and he suggested surgery to remove it and maybe more. I was stunned because my cat showed no symptoms whatsoever. From there I became suspicious and went to two different animal hospitals for 2nd opinion and they both said her teeth look fine, and that there is no need to have her tooth/teeth removed. From there I immediately stopped going to Glenview Animal hospital (after going there often for 8 years - I was probably one of their most loyal customers where I spent a good amount of money for their care with my two cats). That was 3 1/2 yrs ago and to this day, my cat still have all of her teeth, shows no symptoms whatsoever and my new vet (who I have been going to since I left Glenview Animal hospital) recently checked on her (annual check up) and said her teeth looks good and healthy. I am so sad to say I felt betrayed by Dr Kanter whom I thought I trust and Glenview Animal hospital. I do not recommend this place.

I've been taking my pets to the Glenview Animal Hospital since 1999. I think that going there for over 20 years speaks for itself!

Dr. Kanter is awesome. Vet fees are not inexpensive, so you might as well go to the best.

Decent selection of products, especially nicer ones. Prices are a little high compared to online stores but not unreasonable. The store could probably use a remodel.

I have brought my dogs here for the past 10+ years. They provide compassionate quality care, always explain my options and they are very understanding. I wish that they would hire an exotics specialist because they only treat dogs and cats here.

Great vet! Very honest and straight-forward with best plan for treatment. Dr. Cohen is absolutely fantastic as is the staff. They were a great resource while one of our dogs was battling cancer and really helped us when the time came to eventually ease her pain. They assured and reassured us that we did everything we could, and Dr. Cohen reached out directly within a day or two after our visits to the specialist to talk through any questions we had. Words cannot express my gratitude to Dr. Cohen and the Glenview Animal Hospital team for being so fantastic throughout the process.

Unfortunately we had to put our cat down due to rapidly declining health. The staff here could not have been more compassionate and helpful through the whole process. They were more than understanding and respectful amd I can't thank them enough for it. Without question I recommend their services.

I recently started taking my dog to Glenview Animal Hospital. Dr. Mateles was so wonderful and made me feel welcomed. I am so happy I made the change. Wonderful and caring staff!

We've been going to see Dr. Cohen since our dog was a puppy. 11 years later we still take our dog there. They are so nice and you can tell everyone there really likes dogs. If Dr. Cohen knew anything about people medicine I'd probably go see him (but I'd want different treats when I'm done with an exam).

Glenview Animal Hospital is the best! They take such care with my Dog. Dr.Mateles, the vet techs & the front desk personnel are all so friendly and reassuring. I wouldn't take my precious dog anywhere else!

Very nice staff. Excellent precautions for Covid-19.

They are most compassionate even during difficult times. We had a very sick dog and were unable to take her to our regular vet. They gave us an appointment quickly and were most helpful in assisting us with making the difficult decisions we faced. I am grateful for their kind words, gentle approach, and extreme compassion. A very big thank you to the vet and all the staff members, heroes for the animals!

This is the best place to take your pet family members in Chicagoland. I have been going to Dr. Cohen since he got out of Veterinarian Medical College and he is great, thoughful, knowledgeable, sincerely concerned, easy to talk to and understandable. His medical talents have added years to the lives of our furry family members and we are forever grateful as are all these other family members. ????????????????????????????????‍????????????

I love the staff and Dr. Manny especially. We were so worried about putting our dog under anesthesia for teeth cleaning, but Dr. Manny called us before, during, and after the procedure to give us peace of mind. Honestly, the service and care was more than we could have ever expected. They are kind, warm, inviting, and they really care about you and your pet. Rates are very reasonable as well!

It was a Great experience taking our Yordi????‍????dog to Dr.Cohen hospital even though is covid19 time, all the staff was Great their care and compassion with our Dog and Dr Cohen explained step by step everything we need to know for the best treatment for our dog allergies. Great place Great Service ❤thank you all.

Everyone is so sweet to my very large overly excited doodle making my visits worry free.

Dr. Kanter is wonderful with out cat and really cares about the animals he works with.
