Barb and her husband are some of the kindest caring people out there. I take my dog in for self wash because he has so many health issues that a grooming would be too much for him. They are very understanding and never rush me. I do have his nails cut at the shop and they will do it on the floor because my dog can’t handle the table. Just really good people!

I love taking my baby boy here for grooming. Barb is incredibly knowledgeable, caring and passionate about what she does. I highly recommend Barb. You won’t be disappointed.

Our pups love going here for grooms - literally tail wags on the way in - we are so happy to have found Shear Pooch. The staff are friendly with people and wonderful with dogs, totally putting them at ease. The grooming prices are very reasonable and include bathing & nails, plus the little extras (sanitary trim, pad shaving) as needed. Bandanas and treats at the end to make sure everyone leaves happy. :)

They take such great care of the dogs and make it as comfortable for them as they can. It's not stressful for my dog which is the most important thing for me,. I feel like they love the dogs that are in their hands. Very reliable, friendly and reasonably priced!

I took my 16 year old German Shepherd there to bath her The Staff is excellent and very helpful.

Barb takes the utmost care of each ???? client ????. Her precision and talent has undoubtedly made her business successful. But her kindness, nurtured manner, is what makes Barb number #1. I love this place so much, that I bring my yorkie with me, when I visit my daughter in Glen Ellyn, so that Barb can groom her. I could use a groomer in the northern suburbs, where I live, but Barb does an excellent job and I love her sweet demeanor with my dog. I am sure, that all of her groomers, set the same high standard. Thank you Barb!

Friendly staff and my pup is always handsome when I pick him up. He is happy to leave though, only after getting his obligatory treats.

We love Shear Pooch and all the groomers. They are great with our dogs. They don't nickel and dime you for every inch of hair they cut off like we've had in the past with other groomers (trim v. hair cut). They are reasonably priced for the area. They take their time but you aren't leaving your dog there for half a day or more like other places. The longest our dogs have been there is 3 hours which is so much better than other places we have been in the past where they were there for 4+ hours before we even got a call that they were finished.

Woman was incredibly rude when we arrived 15 minutes prior to close.

Took my mom's Pomeranian in for grooming. My mom's dog had surgery almost 2 months ago and I was a little worried about taking her to a groomer so soon. But they took great care of my pup and made her look incredible! In fact, I think this was the best haircut that she has ever had from a groomer. The staff was very friendly, polite, and professional. They have very fair prices. They were super quick too! If I ever have to take care of my mom's dog again, I will definitely be taking her back here for grooming.

We was there for a self wash, it s a really nice price 18$, and we have a samoyed, i was really embarrassed that we made so much mess and was looking like snowing everywhere. They were so nice and thank you do kuch for the patience. I m really sorry about the mess. I definitely recommend this grooming salon.

Barb has been grooming for us for over 15 years plus. She had my 18 year old Prince until he passed and our 12 year old Cody. Now she grooms our baby Toby. Would not go to anyone else. Moved from Bloomingdale with her and now love that she has her own shop. She truly loves all the fur babies and is an exceptional groomer. We love her Linda Ross Bartlett

We took our dog and my son's Dog while my son was deployed. They were so good to them. They do a kind authentic caring job. The place is clean and friendly.

All my dogs go here. The staff are kind and it's a quaint but pretty place! It's close to a few shops and restaurants in case you are waiting for your pet or need to pick something up. 100% recommend! My dogs get so excited to see their groomer.

It was our first time here and first time To do wash our standard poodle ourselves, except At home. The owner was so helpful. Very nice, very clean place and everything you need it provided. We will definitely be back! SOO much easier than our tub at home!

The staff here is amazing! So kind, hard working and they love our dog Marvin! They do a great job, you’ll find better quality service here than at a PetSmart. Highly recommend.

My husband told me this was a great place. Being much more critical than him I had my doubts. Have to say I had a wonderful experience. Everyone is very friendly, helpful and offers advice on overall pet care. This fur mom was impressed!
