The staff are kind, treat you like family. Do their very best to accommodate and are so compassionate. I've had a total of 9 pets there over the years and they've always been taken excellent care of. Dr Jill is simply amazing and knows her stuff! She never leaves your pet to question, if she feels a 2nd specialist opinion is needed, she gets it so your furbaby gets the exact right treatment.

I love Village East. The staff is exceptional. They go out of their way to be helpful and be of assistance, and always with a smile and friendly chatting. Dr Bill Melchoirs was our vet and he has given our pets exceptional care over the years. One of many things I appreciate about care here is that all teaches about what is going on with our dog right along with the normal conversation. We met our new Vet, Dr Hinsel. It is so obvious that she loves her profession just by the way she touches these animals. Now we have Lucy and she is was feisty as Sadie was gentle. I can appreciate and love Lucy’s own distinct personality just for herself and especially now that she is 3+ and is calmer and more attentive to what we tell her. I highly recommend this Veterinary office for their knowledge and caring and smiles.

I have taken my fur baby here since I moved to Evansville about 3 years ago. Everyone is always so friendly and always say how cute my fur baby is. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a new veterinarian or needs their fur baby taken care of!

The office staff is very friendly and professional. The waiting area and exam rooms very clean.

If you’re lucky enough to deal with Dr Bill he’s even better. Fantastic crew. Very busy so don’t miss your appointment. Every vet in this area is overwhelmed.

We have been using Village East Animal Hospital since 2019 when we got our first dog, we now have 2 more dogs and we take them all to Village East since they take such good care of our pets and ensures that they get the right care. They are all super friendly and are really good with animals, they always give good advice and have good collaborations with other animal hospitals with specialists when further care might be needed. One of our dogs had to remove her eye and we got help to see an ophthalmologist at another vet clinic. I definitely recommend Village East Animal Hospital.

Village East has always been my choice for veterinarians. Staff is great along with all of the aides and assistants. Dr. Jill Kemp is the best, I highly recommend her.

We have been clients for many years, one of our fur babies had broken her dewclaw. VE got her in and took care of her. They loved on her since she is very attached to me. I had good instructions on how to take care of her and her surgical site. They are following up on her next week even though they are extremely busy. I just need to make sure we can keep her bandage on for three days, she is tricky at times. She is doing very well! I know they work many hours, some do not get full lunches, because they care. I get that, as a nurse I give up lunches often too because I care. The animal physicians are so dedicated and put in a lot of hours each day. We are so thankful for their service, kindness and dedication. They are an asset to our community!

I called this hospital for an emergency after my dog ingested battery acid. After explaining the situation, the receptionist asked for my last name, We’ve never been to this clinic as we just moved into town, because we’ve never been, the receptionist informed me they couldn’t give any recommendations at all since I am not a client. When I read this was an animal hospital I assumed they cared about helping ALL animals, but clearly they only care if you have given them money. Would absolutely not recommend going here if you actually care about your animal.

We live on the Westside of Evansville & it's worth the drive because I know that Tequila is getting the best care that is available thanks to all of the staff!!!

My vet retired and I had to find a place to take my older cats and I was recommended Village East by quite a few people I knew, Village is so good for and to them. The staff is always warm and welcoming. My cat goes to see Dr. Kemp and she's outstanding. My cats really trusted her. Dr. Kemp goes beyond what is needed to help animals. I wont go anywhere else.

It's always a great experience with Dr. Melchiors and his staff. They're very friendly and helpful.

The vets and techs were so caring and listened to our concerns. We felt at ease with everything they explained they were going to do to help our pup get better - and they followed through completely! Everyone was very friendly, as usual.

My wife works here so I'm a little biased but they took really good care of our dog when he needed treated.

They are caring, kind, and willing to see any critter. They have seen two of my dogs under emergent circumstances, and I choose to drive an hour and a half to continue to use this clinic. The level of compassion I have experienced from this staff has always been above and beyond. I even recieved a bereavement card from them when I had to make the hard call for my senior companion dog. It was such a small, human gesture that meant a lot. Simply stated: They love animals and their humans. ETA 9/7/21 Brought a new rescue to them and they were as wonderful as ever! Im so grateful to the sincere compassion they show for our pets. ♡♡
