My cat Frankie and I had a great experience at Advent. It started with (Shima) the tech that came out to get us...she is one of those people whose light shines so bright from the inside out. Gifted and competent. A definite asset to this office. Dr Ramos was equally amazing. She gave Frankie a thorough exam and confirmed my suspicions about Frankie's teeth. They're in bad condition and causing her a great deal of pain. 10 days later Frankie is so much better. She's playing with her toys and chattering at the birds in the backyard. As if all that isn't enough, the best part of our visit was the laughter. Dr Ramos has a great sense of humor and a laugh to go along. When she showed me Frankie's teeth I accidentally said a bad word and immediately apologized and said they were lucky because I am a gifted "F" bomb thrower. And that's where the laughter began....I could go on and on about how wonderful this experience was but this post is already too long.....if your pet needs a Dr make an appointment with Advent Veterinary you'll be glad you did.

I absolutely love Advent. Most vets that I’ve taken my pets to have very rude staff. Not Advent! Everyone there is so friendly and helpful. My cat sees Dr. Ramos, who is absolutely amazing. It gives me a peace of mind that she’ll call if my cat ever had to stay for any kind of tests or would come out to my vehicle when it was only curbside. I took my Starling to see Dr. Kilbane on 12/13 and he’s absolutely amazing as well. He’s very knowledgeable when it comes to Starlings and treated my Chase so good. Very professional and kind. Also, only place I know of in Evansville that cares for exotic pets. I have always had a positive experience here bringing in my reticulated python.

They take care of my dog very well. No problems here they even know my dog when she comes.

I cannot rave enough about Advent Veterinary Services and am beyond grateful for them saving our beloved Bella Nutella's life. Not only do they have staff qualified to care for rabbits/ bunnies but they also took care of her immediately under "emergency services" as they're seriously booked out over a month for appointments. Bella Nutella is a Lionshead mix that we adopted through A Second Chance services over a year ago. She's been an absolute sweetheart from Day 1 and such a brave little girl working to trust my husband as it appears some male from her previous home wasn't kind to her, instilling much fear of men. She had been as healthy as she was happy until we suddenly lost her bonding mate, Carter Cash (a male Havana), to Sniffles. Apparently the stress from losing him threw her into GI Stasis which is a death sentence without treatment. Bella Nutella completely quit eating and having bowel movements over the weekend but thankfully the staff at Advent assessed, diagnosed and began treating her first thing Monday morning when they opened. They confirmed that it was in fact GI Stasis through diagnostic testing then began giving her IV medications and fluids. Additionally they prescribed the necessary medications she needed, liquid hay to feed her through a medication syringe and treated her daily with IV fluids as we'd drop her off for treatments then pick her back up. It took a week of daily IV fluids along with another week of forcing multiple medications and feedings into her multiple times per day but it was totally worth it all. She was literally one to two days from dying. Feeding and "cocoa cocoa puffs" are essential to rabbits and without their digestive track staying mobile they can perish within a mere day so I'm not exaggerating about how sick she was or how dire the situation was. Today you'd never know she'd been that sick or that close to death just a couple of weeks ago. Not only is Advent Veterinary Services professional but they are also kind, caring and compassionate. They began working to save her life immediately, explained everything in detail, answered questions, addressed concerns and ensured we had everything needed and understood what we needed to do while feeding and medicating her at home. I also thought that their pricing was reasonable given we had to establish her as a patient in the capacity of Emergency Services. Even though we took her in during regular business hours upon them first opening on a Monday morning they were booked out a solid month for actual appointments so I also feel that the elevated pricing was fair as well. Today our beloved Bella Nutella is once again as healthy as she is happy AND has bonded with her new male bonding buddy, Bear, who we got from VHS. I know some people don't "get it" but our fur babies are family to us and akin to four-legged kiddos. With that said, I cannot fully express my gratitude to Advent and their staff for saving this beautiful little girl's life. Advent will definitely be who we seek treatment from for any of cats or bunnies going forward and I cannot recommend them or rave about them enough!!!!! Thank you SO much Advent!!!!!! From the bottom of our hearts, each & every one of you totally rock!!!!! Because of y'all and all you've done our Bella Nutella is thriving.

They are the best. I've gotten same-day appointments for certain things, not always, they are pretty busy. But, they have helped me out in a pinch more than once. All the staff is super friendly and really good with my pup.

An hour wait in the parking lot was too long. Especially when cars arriving after me were leaving while I was still waiting. The nail and beak trim for my bird usually only takes a couple of minutes

Dr Kilbane sees both my cat and my tortoise. He has been nothing but professional and caring to both my babies. We recently had a really bad scare with a respiratory infection with my tortoise and Dr Kilbane has tirelessly worked with us to try to get him back to 100%! If Dr Kilbane retires I'm going to have to move! Would recommend this vet to anybody in the area ????

The best veterinary care my animals have ever recieved has been from Advent! Dr. Kilbane has done nothing short of AMAZING for my birds (saved the life and leg of one of my budgies!). The staff is always super helpful and kind. We ❤ this clinic!

I love advent. I always have the best experience when I bring my cats in. They have a very knowledgeable and friendly staff. I know everytime I take my furrbabies in they are treated with care.

I had 3 birds and a bunny that were all due for a checkup and rather than get all of them in the car at once they were split into 2 manageable appointments which made travel so much easier. We were able to go in right on time and Dr. Kilbane and the techs are wonderful at handling exotics. They are willing to answer any questions and do everything they can for their patients. I was able to get some medicine I needed same day and they did a follow up call to make sure everything was going well. I cannot recommend them enough for family with exotic animals!

Always been treated well by the drs and staff at Advent. Yes, I've had to wait to be seen but I don't expect my own dr to get me in immediately so why should I expect instant service from an already overbooked vet clinic? I think people forget that those in the medical field are only human. Keep your heads up Advent! You are amazing! - Remember Life's Good

Taken great care of my fur son my babies have a great doctor

I am so angry with your office right now. I am calling you out. I needed to have my Chewy order shipped 2 weeks early and Chewy emailed and said they needed a new authorization for the order. I call your office and was told that unless I bring my pet in for an exam, which he DOES NOT NEED and by the way if something was wrong I would know and he would be at the vet. Nope he needs to come in and unless he comes in no authorization. This is sick on your part. My pet hates going to the vet and is healthy and fine and to deny medicated food upon a supposed yearly exam is shameful!!

Because we haven't been there in a few years, I was very rudely told that we are not their client. You are absolutely right. I am not and I would never recommend anyone to your facility
