This Pet Care company is fantastic! Fabulous, knowledgeable animal care folks who are also great people. We hate to leave our two cat kids, but with Juli coming in twice a day, they had the best care, lots of love, attentive diet monitoring and meds, and the bonus of daily photos or videos so we could see our pets. The mail, the plants, the lights - everything was taken care of and we could relax, away from home. You'll feel at ease with them in your home, and you will have expert care from people who value your pets!

I can't say enough good things about them. I have never been truly able to relax on vacation before using their services. They provide a level of care above and beyond to my fur babies. Highly recommended. I get videos and pics with daily updates. The videos show my pets absolutely in love with Juli, so I know they're safe and happy.

I was really hesitant about getting someone to walk my little guy but that was put to rest the moment Julie and Victor met him. They had such an ease about them, you could tell they truly love what they do. ZoBo looked forward to his daily morning walk with Victor. I can’t say enough about Juli and Victor at Embark animal club!! My rescue pup is very hesitant with new people so it has been tough to find a reliable walker and sitter for him while we’re away. But these two are absolute professionals and have a ton of experience with anxious dogs, and my boy warmed right up to them. They have an easel about them that makes you feel at ease as well. They are also incredibly professional and make the entire process super easy. They have done a few overnight visits at our home and it has been incredible to not have to worry about my pup home alone, because I know he’s getting all the love and attention he needs. They also send tons of updates with pictures so you can see your dog enjoying their time. Juli and Victor have been a life saver for us, and I’m sure will be for you too!

Juli + Victor are the best! Positive word of mouth and multiple referrals led us to them when we moved to Evanston. We are so lucky to have found them, as it is SO hard to trust somebody new in your home and with your baby. They go above and beyond, are super thorough and I can tell they love my dog as if he were their own. My dog is 14 now, I would highly recommend their services, they take great care in customizing what your pet needs.

We were relieved to find Juli at the start of the pandemic to trim the many non-human nails in our household. She comes right over to the back yard, puts the critters at ease, does a great job and doesn't charge much! She's a great find like a dentist or car mechanic that you want to keep for life. Plus she has anecdotes and perspective from years of experience that help guide us in our pet decisions.

We had to go out of town for a funeral and decided to use EmBark after a great initial meeting. We have a senior dog who can require extra attention as well as a cat. Juli was a great help! She provided high quality care and gave us detailed notes and updates multiple times a day that really demonstrated she was on top of the situation and proving great attention and care for our pets. She totally put our mind at ease and was professional and reliable. Would definitely recommend Juli and EmBark!

Juli and Victor are amazing! Our two dogs, both spoiled and one with special needs due to being deaf, warmed up to them very easily at our meet and greet. They took care of our pets while we were out of town for a week. Their service was fantastic and our communications back and forth were impeccable. They were very accommodating of our needs and requests. This was our first, but very definitely not our last, time using EmBark Animal Club. Our best experience yet with pet sitting services!

EmBark Animal Club has been a life savor since moving to Evanston! Our very active dog gets walked 3-4 times a week by Victor and I know that he is in very good hands. The walks are always punctual, we get pictures and a daily report card, and I feel extremely comfortable having him take car of our dog in our home! I couldn’t recommend them enough, and I will continue using their services as long as we live in the area. 5 paws from Logan, and 5 stars from his parents!

I’ve used EmBark Club several times over the past year. My younger cat has severe territory/people anxiety, and would get very upset with anyone being in the house but me. Juli was certain they’d become best friends... and I was a bit skeptical ???? But Juli has done a remarkable job of getting her to open up and be comfortable around her, engaging her while always being respectful of her space. Kira even lets Juli pet her now! I recommend this service without reservation—your pets will be in great hands!

Victor and Juli have been wonderful with my pets. My dog loves her walks with Victor and Juil has given my cat all of the attention she craves when I am away. I do appreciate how flexible they are to step in and care for my pets when I need to change my schedule. It is great having EmBark help out in ways large and small.

This place is great! The meet and greet went well and my dog loved them both immediately. Victor is our walker and he takes great care of my dog. He never misses a walk (even when it was 20 below) and sends funny texts and pictures. I highly recommend them!

Juli and Victor are great! I have a new puppy, 11 yr old dog and 8 yr old cat. I love getting my daily updates and knowing my 12 paws (as Juli calls them!) are happy and well taken care of. I found Embark when I got my puppy in January and needed some extra help. Juli is very attentive and empathetic whenever I have any concerns, even when I'm being overly cautious as a first time puppy mom. There have been a few times when my schedule changed last minute and they were able to find a way to squeeze in a quick puppy visit so my little guy didn't have to be uncomfortable. I love the "mom and pop" feel of them being a husband and wife run company. It shines through that they truly care for my little ones and for the relationship I have with them as a client. Finding Embark has been a blessing!

I had hesitated in trying to find a dog walker/ pet sitter for my dog Perry because as a herding dog she does not warm up to strangers quickly and would require the same dog walker all the time. She also has some leash reactivity and has to keep a safe distance from other dogs. At home she is an absolute sweetheart, but I was starting to think that I would never find someone that I trusted to handle her and that I would never take a dog-less vacation until I read a great review about Juli and Victor and decided to schedule a meet and greet. Juli arrived and she was wonderful and very understanding and by the end of our meeting Perry was licking her face and taking treats from her hand. I hired them on the spot and for the first few dogs walks Perry wasn’t very well welcoming (lol lots of barking and difficulty putting her harness on) but they persevered and with time, kindness, and patience Perry is now a changed dog. She looks forward to their visits, and Juli and Victor always send me photos and videos showing how sweet and playful she is on walks. She also doesn’t get as upset when new people come to the home and sometimes she doesn’t even care at all. I think they’ve helped boost her confidence and made her a happier dog. And yes, I have now been able to take a few vacations… 

Victor and Juli take amazing care of our elderly dog. They are very accommodating to my sporadic and unpredictable work schedule, always prompt and responsive. I also really appreciate the notes we get after every walk.

Juli and Victor provide exceptional care to our three miniature dachshunds, who just adore both of them. Juli and Victor truly understand animal behavior, and know how to deal with our senior dog, our shy dog, and our wild dog. I trust them implicitly; they are reliable and honest. I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

EmBark is a lifesaver! My step baby, Kodji, absolutely adores Victor. Kodji has the best time on his walks and looks forward to spend time with him . EmBark is my go to for when I'm out of town or have busy week at work. They are professional and caring and I can not recommend them enough!

Juli has taken care of my two cats on two occasions that I was away on trips. She was wonderful, the cats were very well taken care of, and she sent me texts and photos of them during those visits. One of the cats has special needs, and she took care of that too. I recommend highly.
