Dr Leo is Fantastic! My dogs and small pets are so comfortable around him. He's so friendly, extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I will be recommending the practice to all my friends and family. Very Grateful to all his staff as well. They are so sweet and easy going. This is The Place for your Fur-babies. ❤

Not only did I adopt my two gremlins from them, but they care for them like they are there own. Dr. Stram and Dr Leo are quick to figure out diagnoses and intelligent and know the right treatments and how to get my babies back to normal . I trust them whole hearted with my babies and will never go elsewhere. Staff is also super awesome too! ????

I couldn’t mention a better vet in the Chicagoland area! My old boy Tito has many chronic allergy issues, old age arthritis issues, and wasn’t long ago almost lost him to pancreatitis! I mentioned Tito was not doing good and wouldn’t get up, he immediately made time to get him in the next day! Dr. Leo is fair, dedicated, exceptional with attention to detail and won’t give tip toe answers like most places! Just finished a follow up, and not only is Dr. Leo phenomenal, but his team is awesome! You’ll feel like you are getting taken care of by family!

I have brought my pets to different vets and none where able to help me treat them without charging me an arm and a leg. I brought them to Elk Grove Pet Clinic and Dr. Leo and his team were able to not only help my cats illness but also treat my cats with love and care for their individual needs. I've never met a doctor and his team that cared more about saving and making my cats feel better. That is care I have not found yet for my Fur Babies. I Recommend anyone to go there.

I been taking my dog for almost two years , the Vets are outstanding . But one older receptionist is extremely rude & honestly rather take my business somewhere else because is the second time I had to deal with her attitude.

I brought my two cats in today for a wellness check up, and the staff was so friendly and welcoming! My kitties got a comprehensive blood panel, etc. Having peace of mind that any underlying issues are taken care of is priceless. Thank you, EG Pet Clinic!

Love this place. I spent 4 years trying to find the right vet for all my animals, and this place has been the most helpful, and compassionate place. Truly grateful.

We see Dr. Leo here at Elk Grove Pet clinic for our two labradoodles and new kitten. He is one of the most attentive vet doctors I have ever met. Gentle, kind and doesn’t just listen but actually hears which is a great quality. His team of assistants and the front desk crew are very professional and efficient. I never feel rushed when calling in as the assistants engage and assist very well. Our labradoodle Skuddy is 15. He recently had a medical issue that paralyzed his back legs, tail and his ability to poop or pea. Dr Leo called us at home several times to talk us thru managing his care. There really wasn’t a way to know if these abilities would come back or not, so we had to manually help him empty his bladder and we had to use pulleys to hold his back legs and attempt to have him move them. Believe it or not this guy recovered. But we couldn’t have done it without guidance and support which we received every step of the way. Thank you Dr. Leo and the team at Elk Grove Pet clinic. We and our fur babies love ❤️ you.

Dr. Leo is awesome! Being the first time puppy owners, wife and I had many questions, Dr. Leo and his assistant patiently answered every single question, and we did not feel being rushed despite of their busy schedules. It's a good feeling to know your loved one is in good hands.

I realized that in the midst of my excitement about finding an absolutely perfect vet clinic for the first time ever, I took straight to the neighborhood groups that had recommended the Elk Grove Pet Clinic to rave about my experience and forgot to leave actual reviews! My family has had cats for 27+ years and up until the incredible recent experience at the Elk Grove Pet Clinic, we really never had even a “decent” vet trip. I always believed that cats hated going to the vet, because in the past it took serious strategy to get any of our (5+) cats into the carrier and off to the vet and then when we would get to the vet, they’d refuse to come out of the carrier and would have to be removed. For the first time ever, this did not happen. My cat did make his carrier his “cozy spot” after he was rescued so that made it a lot easier to get him in it, but the rest of the successful vet trip was thanks to Dr. Leo & team. Dr. Leo truly acted as if he had nowhere to be except in the present moment with my cat and I, which meant more to me than I can even put into words. I have loved all of our family cats, but Rooney is the first cat that I adopted on my own. I rescued him 3 years ago during one of the most difficult times of my life (who actually rescued who, right?) and he is truly my other half, in kitty form. Dr. Leo taking the time to let Rooney get fully comfortable with him before performing any exams/giving shots felt so above and beyond, but the best part about that is that it seems this is just their normal practice! I’m honestly still shocked - a week later - at how comfortable Rooney was throughout the entire visit. Dr. Leo & team, thank you so much for the time you spent with us. Your brilliant knowledge of feline behavior/health along with the superior compassion you show both human beings and animals alike, instills the confidence needed for all when having to make a trip to the vet!

I have been going to Elk Grove Pet Clinic for 25 years and have always found the staff and Dr. Stram very professional and friendly. I have moved out of the area but continue to return for services because of their caring and professionalism.

We are so happy with the care our dog has received at Elk Grove Pet Clinic. Dr. Leo has been absolutely fantastic in working with us to find the right long-term treatment plan for our dog's chronic spinal injury. He takes the time to listen, ask questions, consider all options, reach out to specialists on our behalf, and ultimately work to find the right solution for us and our dog. The entire staff is helpful and friendly. I wish I could get this kind of medical care as a human. :-)

Dr. Leo and Leann were so great with my 1 year old black lab. My dog gets anxiety at the vet and turns into a squirmy, nervous mess. This was our first trip to Elk Grove Pet Clinic after recently moving to the area and I’m so pleased! They were patient with my dog, allowed her to warm up to them and by the end of the visit my dog had two new friends. Dr. Leo was super nice and answered all of my questions, no matter how silly. If you’re looking for a vet, I highly recommend! I’m eager to see how my dog does next time.

We have been going to EGPC since we adopted our 2 German Shepherds 9 years ago. We have seen both Dr. Stram and Dr. Leo - they are both awesome! The staff is polite and very helpful. Dr. Leo recently took over the case of 1 of our Shepherds after she developed small bowel disease and we were frustrated with the guidance from another specialty vet. Dr. Leo called several specialists, created a treatment plan and finally got her stabilized. He calls me after every appointment to discuss her lab results and discuss next steps. I would not take any of our pets anywhere else!

I have been coming here for over a year now and I have been fully satisfied with the service! I brought my pet in numerous times with varying issues and they were always approached with eager compassion to help the animal. The front desk staff are cheery and attentive, and Dr. Leo always displayed professional service with a hint of comic relief. Elk Grove provides a personalized experience I just couldn’t get from a larger, corporate practice. I will be back!

Vet and staff very nice and friendly. I was able to get my cat in same day I called. Cat has allergies.
