Dundee Animal Hospital Of Elgin Elgin, Illinois

Their staff LITERALLY saved the lives of 3 of our dogs after we were attacked by another dog. They were responsive, compassionate and caring not just about our pets but about our recovery as well. I cannot recommend this animal hospital enough! I am so grateful to their entire team of veterinarians, technicians and support staff.

If you are new to the area do not come here. You are snickered at and made to feel shameful or bullied if you ask for help or guidance. I also felt unsafe at the facility.

My guinea pig wasn’t feeling well and they got her in quickly to see Dr. Lupo. He has been amazing. He’s very knowledgeable about guinea pigs and takes the time to explain everything. Even when I call a million times with a new concern. :) We are moving out of state and I only hope I can find someone like him for my piggies.

Dr. Lathrop and the staff at Dundee Animal Hospital of Elgin are fantastic. They have helped us through the passing of one of our pets, and have taken great care of our other two. Dr. Lathrop always remembers our pets and they love going to see her. I would highly recommend her and this clinic to anyone in the area.

Amazing clinic. My dog had a scheduled c section in 3 days and she went into labor early. I couldn't find any place to take her for an emergency c section if needed, and they were able to. She ended up having the one puppy there naturally then the other came at home later on. They answered all of my questions and didn't get annoyed by all my calls I'm the middle of the night. Gave me great advice and were very friendly! I will be switching them to my regular vet!

Brought in my staffy for skin rash on budget left with a good plan set for him well in my budget plus a free tick and worm prevention. Will definitely be coming back

I was very pleased with my visit with Dr. Obrien. She was so helpful with my little chihuahua Peaches. Peaches didn't seem to mind either, which is unusual for her. They were very thorough and professional. I would highly recommend them.

Ive been taking my ferrets and my cat to Dr. Lupo now for 2 years and he's been absolutely amazing, including the staff. Everyone there has been super helpful, especially very understanding through some of the more emotional times with options to help being provided. Nothing but a fantastic and professional experience here.

My puppy broke his leg during the night & his regular vet office was closed. We had to bring him in to Dundee Animal Hospital. As soon as the looked at him, w/o even doing an x-ray, they said they needed a $500 deposit. All they did was the x-ray, meds & splint. Our bill was $700. They said he would need a surgery & sent us on our way. It was very obvious they only cared about the money & not about my dog! The next morning we went to our regular vet & were told he does not need surgery. A week later his splint (that Dundde Animal Hosp.) put on, slipped off!!! We took him to our vet & they put a new one on. They said Dundee didn't even anchor it to his leg & that is why it came off!!!! If your going to charge that much money, at least do the job right!!!

My grand doggie was intoxicated because I give her a wrong food my daughter take quoketa to ER 4am today and doctor Cameron and the rest of the staff save her life I personally think they are amazing angels ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐???? God bless you all ????

Great staff and Doctor! I am so glad I brought my little dog to the Dundee Animal Hospital!! Didn't expect royal treatment for my little pooch, but they delivered above and beyond. They love your pet and it shows!

They are a phenomenal Veterinarian Clinic. My family and I have taken our dogs there for over a decade. Great Doctors and staff. Dr. Larson is the best there is! Hands down an excellent doctor and it shows! Highly, highly recommend!

From the moment I walked in with my kitty, Glinda, and even after I left, the staff and doctor made me feel my cat and I were supported and cared for. Professional and clean. Lots of space and offers specialized foods for pets. I have never waited more than 10 minutes to be seen by a technician prior to the doctor.

My dogs have come here since they were puppies. The doctors are very compassionate. They're really care about your animals. I think the doctor there that takes care of my dog is wonderful.
