I cannot say enough good things about this veterinary clinic. Dr Ramirez and the staff are just at the top of the food chain here. I take all of my pets here. My last episode here was with our cat billy. He had crystals obstructing his bladder and the level of care he needed aside from hospitalization was that we had to bring him in almost every day and then every evening at the emergency vet clinic (Tri-County animal hospital, another great place). They did their absolute best to keep our costs to a minimum and we couldn't be more pleased. The level of care that we received here was the equivalent of going to the Mayo clinic. I am not kidding. If you want your pets to have the best possible care anywhere in this part of the country, I highly suggest that you give Dr Ramirez a call. You will not I repeat you will not be disappointed. Everyone here cares for your pets like they are their very own family. I have never seen such a loving caring capable staff. They also have a video link so if your pet has to stay you can constantly watch him or her while they are in their care. This place is an open book there's nothing to worry about, they call in the morning and check on your pet. I just hate to move because I know I am never going to find another place like this for our fur babies. BEST..CARE..ANYWHERE!!!????????❤️????????❤️

My veterinarian was out of the office so I took my sweet Molly here at Lakeview, and everyone was awesome and caring. Very nice veterinarian!!

The staff is great and the doctor is very knowledgeable about animals. Reccomend going here for your cat or dog.

So happy I found this place and it's right by our house! I could not have asked for better care for my pup. Her ear was bothering her and I was able to get her in quickly. The doctor and techs were awesome! I am excited to have this be our local vet! Kind, understanding and caring. What more can you ask for? I have had many nightmare experiences (mostly while living in GA and TX) so it was refreshing to find this place.

I've brought my dogs here for about 17 years. They're amazing, I recommend them to everyone.

Dr. Ramirez and his staff are wonderful. The staff know and get my dog by her name and this is extremely beneficial to making her feel comfortable at the veterinarian. Dr. Ramirez treats both the animals and the owners with care and respect. He's very good at explaining the situation. I would highly recommend.

Dr. Ray Ramirez both cares for your animals and treats them competently. He has had to perform major surgery on two of our dogs by removing one leg on each. He did an excellent job. He also recognizes when an animal cannot be helped and gives good, compassionate advice.

I never thought I would ever rate this clinic this low. I only rated it as high as I did because Dr. Ramirez is amazing, as are the rest of his staff, including Cynthia. The same can not be said for his office manager, and wife, Kelly. Kelly was heinously rude, and insensitive. She called me to reschedule an appointment for my sick dog from tomorrow to today and when we were done rescheduling she informed me that because I had moved the appointment sooner, they would be charging me more, frequently repeating that she was “following policy.” When I had called last night to schedule the appointment I was given an appointment this morning by a new employee, but it was scheduled incorrectly and I received a call back to move it to tomorrow. I place no blame on the new employee, but why, if you called me to reschedule to sooner, and also if I was incorrectly given an appointment in error, why am I being charged more? I was accused of yelling at her, which did not happen, and she was terribly demeaning. Let alone, their prices are incredibly high. A very similar situation happened to my dog in September of last year, everyone at the clinic was wonderful at that time, however this visit cost over $600. My husband took our dog to Rescued Heart in Pekin today and for almost the same services the price for this visit, with three medications prescribed and xrays the visit only came to $250.

I have never had a doctor that was so attentive as Dr.Ramirez is. Great with my little dog,. He even called to check on her after her surgery. Thank you for a great experience!

We had to have my cat of 15 years put to sleep recently. My parents didn’t opt to take his body or pay for the cremation. Then yesterday, we get a letter from Lakeview with a card, his paw print, and a bag of his fur with all the colors that made him him. I can’t thank everyone there enough for helping me have a little more to remember him by.
