Wonderful, caring vets and staff

This is not my owner talking. He's typing on his thingamajiggy smartphone on my behalf. I'm Ruby Sue. He named me after a character in Christmas Vacation. Love that movie. There's a funny dog in it named "Snot." That scene with the squirrel in the Christmas tree? My favorite scene. You may be surprised to know I really don't mind going to the vet, especially Colonial Terrace. They are gentle, have treats. I was there last Monday. I had to get two vaccinations, rabies and rubella. One was a squirt (smelled kinda good and didn't taste awful) the other was a shot. I swear I didn't even feel the needle! How is this possible? The doctor and assistant were very thorough for a routine shot party. They took their time, checked me all over especially examining my ears. They discovered (OMG!) I have a slight yeast infection. I have been scratching them a lot lately, and she prescribed an ear wash and an antibiotic. Because they are so supremely organized, employing the awesome Pet Desk app, and using text and email to keep "the Master" informed of appointments, this visit would have been a lot shorter. But my owner had a bunch of questions as usual (sure he talks too much, but he loves and feeds me). Nonetheless, I can't believe how patient that doctor was. "Hey, Dog Lover, give Colonial Terrace five stars, and would it kill you to open the window a crack on the ride home?"

Colonial Terrace came highly recommended and did not disappoint! Our new puppy loved everyone there and they were so gentle and sweet with her. They answered my ginormous list of questions and didn’t make us feel rushed! Can’t wait for the next appointment!

Very friendly and helpful staff. My cat needed X-rays but before they did them, they contacted me and told me how much they would charge. They are always very friendly to my cat ????. Thank you for the great service.

I have three birds, and it is not easy to find vets in the tristate area. As luck would have it, I found Colonial Terrace. I've used them for 10 years, and have always found them kind and professional. There have been several instances where I have needed to have them boarded with short notice, and they have always been able to accommodate. I have not had any issues with their staff. Good place to take your pets.

I started taking my cats to Colonial Terrace upon recommendations from friends. I have been pleased with the quality care given them. Staff are all friendly and answer my questions. I have been able to get appointments and supplies in a timely manner. My cats are all healthy thanks to Colonial Terrace staff.. I have no suggestions. Everyone I have encountered is professional, loves pets, and works efficiently. Ginger is scheduled for another appt already.

We’ve been with Colonial Terrace for a long time now, since our first dog that was abandoned in our driveway. Since then we’ve had at least 10 pets and they’ve all been cared for by all the vets at Colonial! Our last experience was not to long ago as we had a scheduled visit to have one of our ferrets put down and they were so compassionate, but then exactly one week later our other ferret got very sick and had to be put down as well!! The vets were so compassionate as it was so hard with them being put down so close to each other. We appreciate our veterinarians at Colonial more than they will ever know!!

We absolutely love this office. The veterinarians are knowledgeable and do everything they can. We had three emergency visits for ours dog this past year and they were wonderful. They were also our normal vet for normal care and are very efficient for dental and regular appointments. Highly recommend them.

The vets and staff are professional and caring. I like their "drop off" scheduling, which is when you can make an appointment, but drop your pet off early and the vets will attend to them if they get free time prior to your scheduled appointment. I was able to pick up my get more than 2 hours before my appointment. They have never tried to persuade me to get unnecessary services, procedures, or testing for my animals. Everything is clearly explain.

Every pet I or my family have owned has gone here! The staff are so friendly, and are great at making you and your fur baby feel like family. My cat swerve needed a major procedure (leg amputation) and the care he received was immaculate. He is now a very healthy and happy old tripawd, and I owe that to Colonial Terrace. I’ve let friends go and welcomed new ones there, and at every stage of life they have been given astounding service. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Colonial Terrace has always been so kind, compassionate, and patient in caring for my Boxer, Duncan! As he gets a little older, he's needed more care and more visits. They are so great with him and treat him as if he was their own pet!

Always super friendly and really do well with the pup. Easy boarding too and my dog always makes a new friend. Best vet in the tri-states by far.

Colonial Terrace Animal Hospital is a wonderful place to take your animal for pet care. They do a follow-up to see how your pet is doing and go the extra mile and finding cures for extra difficult problems that your pet may experience. The staff is helpful and polite and appears to care greatly for each and every pet that comes through the door. Reminders are sent for vaccinations and any other procedure the dog or cat or a pet may need. I highly recommend this Veterinary practice for excellent service and diagnosis.

Fast and friendly service. Cats weren't even that upset at being poked and prodded.

Recently took in two cats for vaccinations. The wait time was short, the staff was wonderful as ever and the room decorations were so fun to see. Dr. Crotty was very thorough, yet communicated everything very easily. A very pleasant visit-even our two kitties didn't mind!

First visit with a 4 month old kitten, the staff was perfect. Our Livy had a booster shot, didn't even realize what was happening! Not one meow out of her the whole visit! Thank you Colonial Terrace for the positive experience!
