My dog is very shy. I like the place. At least a couple employees interacted with her a bit. I was watching the webcam quite often that they have for customers. I kept seeing the one girl just standing in the room with a mop most of the time. A couple times she would pet a dog or two. My dog mostly liked to sit in the corner by the crates. But also my dog is shy.

I took my dog Abby there for a Spa treatment (Brush out, nail trim, bath, tooth brushing). It was a great experience! Allie went above and beyond! She was great with my dog and my dog looked fantastic when I got her back! I will definitely be back! Thank you!

Wonderful place for the dogs to play and stay overnight for one or multiple nights. They will even take complex instructions if the dogs have medications or special treats. We've been bringing the dogs here for years and will continue to do so. They ROCK!

I would like to thank Dogtopia Downers Grove for taking great care of my 2 small dogs, Charlie & Chloe! I had to leave town for 2 weeks recently and boarded them at this facility. I had never boarded before, so as you can imagine I was nervous on finding the perfect fit. I was amazed at how hands on and professional all of the employees were with my dogs and others. Thank you so much for giving Charlie & Chloe such a great experience. It is greatly appreciated! Keep up the great work! We will definitely be back for daycare, because they enjoyed it so much!

Pricing is very vague. You have to actually show up with your dog to get accurate pricing, which is obsurd. There should be set pricing on the website accessible to everyone to make a decision without having to physically enter their establishment to get that pricing.

My dog is bear or little bear as they call him. He loves them there. The morning staff always are so excited in seeing him and they always give top notch service. Bear looks forward to it and he is a shiba in and peole that know shibas know that they are hard to socialize. Love you guys Bears dad

Took my pup in for what I thought was a tour and 'get to know us' meeting. I had spoke to someone via phone and email to get all the forms/vaccines done ahead of time. I walk in and they ask me to do it all over. I was not told of the process ahead of time. So I was blindsided when they wanted to just take my dog and have me come back 3-6hours later. I said I wanted to see the place first. Staff member said she wasn't allowed to let me see the back. I would not let my dog stay without seeing so she let me back. They said the 'testing' process takes at least an hour so I should leave and come back. I stayed in the parking lot. Then I go back in, they bring me my pup, thankfully he seemed okay. And they said have a nice day. I then had to ask questions about the facility, how the day care process works. They didn't seem interested in getting me any information. No one has reached out to me since. Tip to management: be more upfront about the initial visit. Be more organized and train staff better. Everyone that does a 'meet and greet' should get a follow up call 2 or 3 weeks later if they haven't already scheduled a service to check in with your potential clients(this call could be good for further questions from clients, or to see what didn't meet the clients needs)

What is below one star? That is what I should give as their rating. I normally take my dog to the Oak Brook Terrace location but I discovered there was a location closer to me so I decided to try them. My dog was completely filthy upon picking him up and he was walking with his tail tucked and dragging his back leg. I called during the day concerned why I couldn't see the video and the girl was very unconcerned about my request for wanting to see him during the day. And we were put on hold for over 5 minutes only for her to come back to the phone and to tell me the cameras were down, has me wondering now what happened during the day.
