i asked if i could bring my elderly chihuahua in because she's not feeling well. was told to take her to one of the two "ER"s for care. i have to assume they are not equipped to handle looking at a small dog. after the conversation i had with whom ever answered the phone i would not recommend them.

These guys are the best, really simplified exporting my cat to Bolivia. I will always be grateful for their help. Cheers, Yulian & Tyrion

We brought our new kitten here for a few appointments. The staff is super friendly and reasonably priced for services. Definitely recommend.

Amazing animal loving staff. Every time we go, they make our dog Ben feel like he is at home. The doctors are quite professional and they are always honest and upfront about cost and services

They are professional, do curbside pickup for our dog's anxiety medication, and took my credit card over the phone. Not only do they care about the animals, but also their owners. Thrilled that we found them when we moved to the area.

They lovely staff here have taken such good care of my fur baby every time I've brought her in. Friendly, compassionate, knowledgeable, 10/10 would come here any time I need help for my bubs.

LOVE!!! I can't say enough good about this animal hospital. I used to take my dog to Skycrest in Buffalo Grove since it's closest to my home. I needed to bring my dog in for what seemed like an emergency. I sat in the waiting room for 30+ minutes and then watched two other customers get called in before my emergency appointment. If I'm going to pay for an emergency, treat it like an emergency. I called up River Trails Animal Hospital sinceI've passed it a million times. Lisa was awesome on the phone and told me to come right in. Even more nice and welcoming in person. Everyone I encountered in the office was very pleasant and welcoming. Doctor I saw was Nicole and she was awesome. Phenomenal at articulating what was going on to where I could easily understand it. Super friendly and an overall pleasure to be in the same room with. My dog is good. I'm good. And I have an awesome caring staff at River Trails to thank for that. I wish I knew everyone's name to say thank you for their part. I'm sure I'll get to know them over the years as this is now my new vet hospital moving forward. Oh yeah, and the pricing! I'm pretty sure I would've paid more than double had I not walked out of Skycrest. Literally. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Friendly staff. Communication is open and frank. Suggestion: allow more electronic communication, such as online appt booking (request are available, but not booking), email test results and invoices.

Great vet - friendly and knowledge Vets and Staff. Prices are reasonable.

Dr key is amazing she is intelligent, compassionate and under standing. The vet techs are amazing as well I always feel like I'm in good hands here. When they put my cat on prescription food they said they would take it back if she didn't like it.

I can't thank you enough for all you have done for me and my furry family. We had to make a difficult decision with our Miss Lucy yesterday and everyone was so caring and honest with us. We left sad but knew we made the right decision for her. I look forward to long relationship with River Trails.

I have very high-anxiety and difficult dogs, and the staff are always kind and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone with dogs.

Really great place for my dog and cat

Rivertrails Animal Hospital is superb. Our dog just died, at a very old age, and the doctors and staf at Rivertrails were compassionate, patient, empathetic and professional for all of he years we dealt with them. They are a model of what a veterinary office should be. Their prices are very reasonable, in fact, I can't believe how low they are.

I've taken my dog here twice - once after adopting him to get neutered and have his first set of shots, and the second time just recently after being attacked by another dog. The staff and veterinarian(s) are exteremely nice and very knowledgable, and I always feel like I'm leaving him in good hands. I actually drive all the way out from Zion just to come here.. highly recommended if you are looking for a vet in this area.
