Everyone here is very helpful. At my recent visits the Dr. helped me determine the best care for my dog and was honest about the tests and medications needed. Zoey went above and beyond to get my rabbit’s nails trimmed and advised the best way to clip them at home between visits. I highly recommend Randall Road Animal Hospital for all of your pet needs!!

A couple of weeks ago my puppy, who is a patient with my four other pets, was seriously ill. I called Randall and told them I was on my was on my way with my puppy and was told by the receptionist “No don’t come we aren’t taking anymore patients tonight”. What? What? I worked there for 5 years as a receptionist and if there was a puppy in distress you got the details and brought them in ASAP. Even if we had one vet you brought the puppy in. All the time. Even 10 minutes before closing.if nothing else we’d stabilize the pet before we sent them to an emergency vet. This receptionist had absolutely NO compassion or empathy. Didn’t care one bit about my puppy. Just her orders about not taking any more patients. I was treated like trash. So we took my puppy to Companion Animal Hospital where they were absolutely amazing. My puppy was poisoned by a mushroom from the dog park. Poor baby. Now I hear Dr. Borchardt is gone. She has know Fiona since she was a puppy. Fiona loves her and trusts her. Dr. VJ who was also just wonderful I hear is gone as well. Doctor Sandhu is only there one day a week?? Who do I trust to see my pets? Because the doctor and receptionist on duty the night my puppy was seriously ill obviously don’t care. It is truly sad to see such an amazing veterinary practices go down hill like this. Very sad

Randall Road Animal Hospital has always treated our two dogs in a professional compassionate manner. The staff is always cordial and a pleasure to deal with.

Don’t bring your pets!!!!!! I’ve been a client here about 10 years. I have no clue what has gone so terribly wrong with this practice but it’s alarming! I will never return here again. I pray my dog doesn’t get worse from there lack of proper care. They definitely made a change for the worse. Run away as fast as you can!!!

time for a new vet, this place doesn't value my time, had to wait 45 minutes after appointment time for dog to weighed and put in room, then another 20 minutes for simple annual shots to be administered. $350 later I had to wait another 10 minutes to pay....I am sure they have tons of excuses....

DON’T BRING YOUR ANIMAL HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!! TAKE THEM ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!!!!! The nurses injured my poor little chihuahua and then told me she would have to keep her for a while and said they would charge me for it!!!!!! EVEN THOUGH THEY INJURED HER!!!!!!! I always recommend this place but I’m warning people now!!!!! THEY DON’T CARE ABOUT ANIMALS THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT MONEY!!!!!!!!!!! COME AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!!!

The vet Dr. Heaver was not very welcoming and very confrontational. Made me and puppy very uncomfortable. I am happy with everyone else besides her. We will continue coming just as long as we DO NOT see Dr. Heaver.

I went to Randall Road animals hospital on and off for few years, and overall I would give more stars but sadly recently my experience has not been great ! I called and made an appointment for my dogs teeth cleaning ( I called twice and asked 2 different people) and I inguired about the price for it. I was told that my dog has to have 2 different appointments ( which I was fine with ) and was told the price will be around $289 with the exam for the procedure ( not including any teeth pulling) and I was ok to pay that amount or even little more than that ( the initial presurgical exam was canceled by the office and moved to the origical procedure date ( I was also fine with it) but when I got that on the day of procedure I was given totally different price almost double what I was told ($555) and was offered no apology for that mistake just a question if I want to reschedule the procedure ???? Are you kidding me, why would I want to reschedule, what would change a price if I rescheduled ??? Complete zero common sense, needless to say I left and I won’t be back ! You should give people right estimates when they actually call you for estimate not when they show up for the appointment and wasted their morning to come in … at this point I am very disappointed and I won’t be back !

Good service at reasonable prices. They take good care of my cat. Answer all my questions. I would recommend.

You guys are waaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy to expensive I paid almost 500 for two cats for my cats before paid 250 almost 300 to spay and neuter my cats 3 years ago for my mom you guys are crooks

All the staff there are wonderful and kind. Meghan the vet tech is exceptional. Dr. Shandhu is excellent and treats both of our elderly dogs with great care and kindness. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

my mother in law has been taking her dogs here and then four years ago we took our dog here. the experience with my dog was great. just recently we decided to add a fur baby to our family. unfortunately she tested positive for parvovirus. we were originally going to take her to a hospital but my mother in law said we could take her to the animal hospital randall rd - crystal lake. so we did. our fur baby stayed there for FOUR days. first two days she was doing good and then the last two days she was in critical condition. the fourth day she was there we received a call approximately at 12pm saying she was in critical condition and that they were going to give her something with starch. after that we received no phone calls whatsoever. i had to call TEN MINUTES before closing for some tech to let me know that she recommends us taking her to a 24/7 hospital down the road from them. so unprofessional that i had to call before closing just for them to let me know i should urgently take her to the hospital. they could give less $**** that my dog needed better care. they just wanted to take our money. they did blood exams and whatnot but what she needed was plasma and blood transfusions. if they really cared they would of done better. they didn’t know what the heck they were doing. we are not coming back and we’re taking our dogs to a different place. out invoice is a whole different story. they tried charging us for a 6 DAY STAY when in fact she only stayed for 4 DAYS. idk if they thought we wouldn’t notice but i may not be a trained tech but i can sure as heck check the qty numbers. i am still awaiting for my fur baby’s blood work paperwork and notes. haven’t received NOTHING. ridiculous.

I received a sick puppy on a Sunday and looked for appointments online and they were booked. I called them Monday and explained and they had a cancelation. I was lucky because I understand the shortage of veterinarians and assistants now. When I came in the vet and assistant were very compassionate! I almost felt like family. I cannot thank them enough for helping me how they relayed a medical condition in terms I could understand. I also have to add that the Dr. cuddled my pet rather than just treating him like an object. 5 plus ????

I took my bestest buddy in here to have a mass removed, they did such an amazing job and worked with me on pricing so he can be happy and healthy again. Friendly staff and compassionate.

it was a excellent experience. Both the vet and assistant answer all questions regarding my dogs weight, food requirements, reason for each specific vaccinations and per request assisted me to the car with a very excited dog. I wasn't rushed but did have to wait 30min. before being seen
