PetSmart is the premier pet store. I love it every time I visit. They have Banfield pet hospital and Pet Hotel. The employees really care for all the pets. I see the care.

The Pet Hotel was wonderful for our two pups when we went out of town! It was so comforting to know that both our girls were well taken care of while we were away. Our pups have some unique needs, and the staff were so accommodating and patient with their quirks. We received a report at the end about their stay which was also wonderful!

Good pet store with a qide variety and plenty of deals.

My pup enjoys the doggy day camp and is always happy and goes straight to sleep once home. Also have had great experience for her with the salon.

Always on the lookout for a beautiful fish and found a group of gorgeous Golden Severums. Weeks later it's like a little sliver of sunshine in the aquarium. Staff didn't ask questions but neither did I. They were very efficient in bagging the exact fish I wanted and getting me on my way asap. I try to do business at small local pet shops but I will spread my business around when the chains are run right and have healthy stock.

I took my new rescue dog for a spa day, which turned out very well. Afterwards, I asked a store associate for help in "fetching" me some dry dog food and bringing it to the front because my recent knee surgery was acting up. It wasn't until I got home that I noticed there were only a few days left before expiration. I have to wonder if that particular bag was chosen for that reason. No way will we use up this expensive food before it expires. I should have been informed and offered a discount or a fresh bag should have been brought up. The gal knew there was no way I could go and return it to the shelf and exchange the bag myself. I'm not driving 30 miles each way to deal with this. And I'm not hobbling around the store to fix this.

I came here for about 45 minutes to an hour, and was waiting for someone to come by and get help for a few fish. Nobody ever bothered to come by or even ask if I need anything. Really sad. It wasn't busy either.

My precious dog Alfie, stayed at the Crystal Lake, IL Pet Hotel over Labor Day Weekend. I was greeted by Shayna, who couldn't have been sweeter. She assured me that Alfie would be well taken care of, and she was correct. Since my family was out of town, I felt a bit of anxiety being so far away from our little cutie. We were able to view daily photos of Alfie during play time, which made us feel very relaxed. Upon check-out, Shayna graciously greeted us again. She gave us feedback on Alfie's stay. She really takes pride in the animals she works with and has a genuine concern for them. Petsmart, thanks for your services and for hiring Shayna. She's a gem! The grooming staff here are the absolute best! I have taken my 2 dogs here a few times recently and they are always so helpful and accommodating. I feel like they truly care and want to help, and I am so impressed and amazed by how great they are! Especially when I compare to experiences at some similar competitors!

This was my first time using using their services and the first time ar this location...they were Great!

we go here all the time we were fine with the service but all of a sudden they started doing bad. my dog came home with a cut leg and an uneven haircut.

Overall, it's a fine store, but they may be under staffed at the moment. Waiting for fish and or crickets takes a good while.
