THEY KILLED MY DOG. my dog has epilepsy and was having troubling walking. They upped his dosage to 3 250mg pills a day. He is a miniature schnauzer. That was too much for his body. After that, he was immediately paralyzed and hours later, I found him dead. I do not recommend if you care about your animals.

I moved to Hobart four years ago but I still drive back to Winfield to Four Season's Animal Hospital for my dog's care. I've tried many different vets in the Hobart/Portage area but they just do not measure up. You can tell the people at FSAH really care about the animals they take care of, they are so good at navigating the emotional chaos of caring for animals. Even now when I can't go inside with my girls because of the pandemic, I know they're in good hands and will be treated gently and expertly. Update 11/2/21: If I could do 6 stars I would! My 15 year old Hanna needed some help crossing over and everyone there was so kind and warm concerning her death. I also had her cremated and the service they provided with that put a smile on my face. I got her ashes in a beautiful keepsake wooden box and a clay imprint of her paw. So beautiful and makes me smile every time I look at it, and it really was wonderful having this service incorporated into her death services, as opposed to me having to make the arrangements when I was in the processing and grieving stages. Loss and grief are part of life and they really understand that and are just so kind, warm and just great people. When you have a pet, that kind of care is indispensable. Thank you Four Seasons Animal Hospital.

I came here years ago with my now passed on cat. He had an abscessed tooth and all they did was put him on medication for infection. They did not seem concerned or want to do blood panels. I came in here Wanting blood work and trying to get to the bottom of some of his weight loss issues and excessive drinking. It wasn't until a few years later that when I went to a another vet, they actually listen to me we got the blood work done and it turned out my cat was in kidney failure. I can't help but to think that this tooth abscess was a red herring and the vet that helped me treat my cat said it is very common for a tooth abscess has and things like that 2 be an indicator of something else going on and that it is odd the other vets did not want to do blood panel. Knowing he was in the beginning stages or whatever of kidney failure could have given me more time with him and I could have been able to do something to prolong his life and not make him suffer. If a client comes in with a patient and says I want blood work done please, do it.

They don’t care about the pets you bring here. They were really rude and made me pay for the amoxicillin, because “they had already mixed it.” I was questioning if I could get a different antibiotic, because my cat was getting sicker on it. They just didn’t care! All about $$$

Very unhappy. Don’t take your animal here if you care about them. Go to Hobart.

I just got my first puppy and obviously want the absolute best for him, so I wanted to make sure I found a great vet! I sure found one here! Dr. Amy Halaburt was my vet and she was so caring and informative on so many things that I needed to hear! She explained all of the vaccines he needs and will be given in full depth which made my experience so easy and stress free. All of her assistants were so good with my puppy and made him never want to leave! Dr. Halaburt even gave me a packet with tons of health and just puppy information just to help me out! I totally recommend Four Seasons Animal Hospital and “Stark” is already excited to go back and see his new friends!

UNAUTHORIZED flu vaccine given to my dog Sophie and staff would not take responsibility for their error.

My beloved 16 year old Molly was euthanized there yesterday. If we wanted we were told we could bring in favorite blankets, a bed. We were assured we could take as much time before and after with her. They were kind and compassionate all the way through.

Took my cat in for ringworm, they charged us $100 for the meds (which I paid) and later found out it was $48 on chewy! I asked if they would send a script for my cats brother who also got ringworm and they said they would. I went to order a second bottle since it was cheaper on chewy vs spending an additional $100 and they denied the order. They said they’d do one thing, then backed out and now they won’t. It’s ringworm medication for goodness sakes, not a narcotic. And $50 up charge on meds? Way too pricey.

They are the most kind and caring people in this place. Dr. Halaburt-there is no better! She is patient and loving and so knowledgeable in how to handle your pet so she can do what is necessary and in how to handle you in the process as well by explaining everything in a way that you understand and that puts any of your fears at ease. Their fees are very reasonable as well. Wouldn’t go to any other vet.

If I could give a 0 I would !! Took my puppy here yesterday because we knew he was not right. They did blood sugar test and looked at color in gums and took temperature and said everything looks good. I expressed several times he was shaking and favoring his abdomen area. I told them he was acting like it was tender and only reply back I got was “no concern” because he would be vomiting, etc if anything. We went home. This morning I wanted a second opinion so went to Hobart animal clinic. Right away vet listens to me and does a physical palpitation exam on my puppy. Literally only massaging and compressing area in abdomen. Right away my puppy whimpers and vet says “yes, I agree there is a concern”. Long story short within in 1 hour of walking into Hobart they had my puppy in emergency surgery to remove an obstruction in stomach area. My puppy chewed a piece of stick 2cm in length and swallowed it when I let out for a potty walk and the piece of stick protruded my puppy stomach. Very very upset with fact that they did such a half butt job here. Didn’t listen to me. And didn’t even run their hands over an abdomen examination! I am so blessed that I love my puppy so much that I caught his change in behavior and didn’t need an IDIOT light. (Physical means of measure) to tell me what my puppy was showing me in his behavior. To think they said “well shaking and trembling is normal” and he had a damn stick poking through his stomach.

Our first time there with our pitty me pit Zoose. He needed a couple of teeth pulled and nails cut. Normally he is scared to death and rolls like an alligator when at other vets getting his nails cut. He was great. Thank you Dr. Halaburt and staff.

From start to finish the experience at Four Seasons was exceptional. The staff was friendly, they were so kind and gentle to my dog, and we both felt comfortable there. My dog had surgery and they took great care of him. They are priced fairly.

They are extremely nice and very knowledgeable. My two cats are very scared when they go to the vet and they have been wonderful with them. I've been seeing Dr Halaburt for years and she is now here. Believe me no one else sees my babies. She is wonderful and so is the staff.

We take our husky there and this is the first vet place she isn't scared to go. She wags her tail going in and out. This is the only place we will take her.

An excellent veterinarian practice. The entire staff is friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. Dr. Amy Halaburt is simply awesome, as are all doctors and staff at Four Seasons Animal Hospital. I absolutely recommend them.

Great staff and very caring. Veterinarians take time to explain issues and really look at your pets. Very good with pets that aren't good with strangers. Boarding is never a worry. They even care for our bird. All those who work there are great!
