I just want to send a thank you and shout out to all of the techs and doctors at Crossroads today for the loving care you offer all of the fur babies that come in. We hope you get a chance to find rest and be loved today, Christmas, and over the holidays. You are the best emergency vet around, open on Christmas, and the ONLY one we will entrust with our fur family’s care. Thank you!

Beautiful building but horrible night staff. Buzzed us in, sat there for 25 mins and not a single person at the front desk or anywhere. Finally I call (while sitting in the lobby) the same girl that buzzed me in asked me how I got in the lobby, and they didnt know anyone was there. Dr. Lawrence seemed scattered but she took xrays and 3hrs later we are told there is no obstruction and she is stable, which was enough relief for me until I could get her to my vet in the morning. We go to check out with the same girl that had no idea she buzzed us in, the bill was $327 and I give her $340. She says your change is .13 cents. My husband and I looked at each other like "what?". I said I gave you $340. She counts it again and says "the computer says .13 cents soooo..." I said I dont care what the computer says, do basic math and figure it out. Finally my husband had to tell her the change and she said "oh, is that what it is?" Smh, she then gave us our change and receipt, got up and went to the back. Didnt say bye or anything. Absolutely the worst evening crew EVER! I have heard the day crew and Docs are awesome but I will never know because we will never be back. We went on October 10, 2021 at approx 9:30pm, our Leia died October 11, 2021 at 11:30am. I am not putting that on them at all, but we will stick with Dr. Wise at Lowell Animal and any emergencies we will make the drive to Hobart (which ironically is their "sister" facility but has much better service).

We had to euthanize our dog today that has been our baby for 10 years. The staff was amazing and so kind to us. I will now bring our other pets here for their annual visits due to the incredible service we had today. I can't thank you enough.

So sad. Knowing I'm poor and then .y friend brings my dog in only to be told he needed unnecessary treatments. They should have called me. I guess once the PPP Lan came it good vet was history saf

My family took my 11 year old Chihuahua, Maci, here last week for an emergency. She had been lethargic all day and throwing up with a lot of blood in her stool. We were turned away from all local animal care facilities in our area because they were completely full. With a lot of desperation to get help for our girl, we decided to travel nearly two hours to Crossroads Animal Hospital as it was the closest facility to us that was open 24 hrs. We were told she needed to stay overnight to get fluids. Shortly after they took her back, one of the assistants came back into the waiting room to let us know that Maci had ripped her entire nail out while trying to scratch her muzzle off. We asked why they muzzled her because she has never had to be muzzled in her entire life (my dog is 5lbs and has NEVER bitten). They told us they muzzled her because she wasn't letting them clip her nails. We were completely confused as to why they were even clipping her nails in the first place and WHY that was the priority over giving her the care we bought her in for. They informed us that it was a "courtesy" and they do it to every animal that comes in. They NEVER asked us if we wanted them to clip her nails and if they did, we would have said no thank you. She does not like getting her nails trimmed, as most dogs do not, and we NEVER would have willingly put her through that after a whole day of being terribly sick. They had to cauterize her paw where the nail was to stop the bleeding. They proceeded to cut the rest of her nails after the injury. They also nicked the inside of her ear with the cautery. She has been completely traumatized ever since and our sweet girl has been so worn out from this whole experience. COMPLETE CARELESSNESS for our dog AND for my family, as we were all heartbroken that our girl had experienced this. They took NO accountability for what happened even after we called the next day to follow up on the incident. We then had to travel all the way home with a terribly sick and now injured dog. This may not be everyone's experience with this clinic, however I felt extremely compelled to share mine all things considered.

I was there a couple days ago due to my regular vet being closed. Spent $520.00 for them to not give me any type of diagnosis. My dog is still exactly the same and now I have to take him somewhere else and pay again to have tests done. They also switched vets in the middle of the visit and the second one told me one recommended one thing and the other recommended something else. Very unprofessional and I wish I never went there. Would not recommend.

We couldn’t be happier with the care our dog, Leia, received here!!! Emergency services handled with patience, care and respect!!! Everything explained to us ahead of time, all questions were happily answered!

It is ridiculous that we have to wait hours to get an allergy shot. They need to hire more people. I even have to wait on hold forever if I call. Or they need to start having appointments for people.

I would give 0 stars if could because these people are horrible!! They have a nice looking office/building but not much else. I brought my pet here just to get his yearly shots done. After waiting almost 3 hours, we were told it was going to possibly be another hour. Even though they were taking in pets that arrived after me. Won't be coming here anymore. Giant waste of time.

First time I’ve ever taken my cat to a veterinarian since I’ve gotten him back in 2020, Great experience, good staff, hygienic and no problems whatsoever, just wished it wasn’t that far from me!!! Reasonable prices too

I just experienced a horrible experience there with my Boston Terrier. I came in at 11AM; my 12 year old Boston Terrier kept on shaking like a seizure, but they could care less. After waiting about two hours with no water to be found anywhere in lobby for my dog, I had had enough and left. I didn’t want anything to happen to my dog, so I sought another vet. Then, to add insult to injury, some lady calls me from the Crossroads ready to bite my head off. This place is just after your hard earned money; if you like being treated just like another number, this is your place.

I regularly go to Hobart Animal Clinic, but ended up at Crossroads to see a specific doc that day. Dr. Baisden was incredible. He was so patient with my questions and really took the time to explain things. I am incredibly grateful that he made time for my boy. I have so much faith in him. I have to say both vet techs that took care of us when we dropped Winston off and picked him up were also amazing. Honestly the two best techs I have ever come across. Both were kind, professional, and compassionate. You have some real gems on your hands, Crossroads.

After waiting 3 1/2 hours at North Central Vet Emergency Clinic..I was fed up and called this place due to a tumor rupturing on my Golden Retriever.. the receptionist Stephanie was so sweet and considerate when I called and was up front with the wait time and how frustrated I was with NCVEC. This place was very clean, saw me within an hour and a tech came out immediately to evaluate her. Everyone was absolutely so compassionate and respectful when we had to make the unfortunate choice to put her down. They treated her so well and I will recommend people going here. The doctors and staff were remarkable. 10/10.

Took my Shih Tzu to Crossroads today for an emergency visit and they were wonderful. The front desk staff, the Medical Assistant, The Doctor, and Housekeeping staff are ALL amazing. My Little guy had an allergy flare up and was taken care of VERY well. Our normal place could not fit us in and out E.R. vet office had a poweroutage. Glad it worked out as I found a walk in place that We really like.

After a waiting at another Emergency center for over 3 hours and still had not been seen, we had come here. Staff immediately saw the emergency and handled as quickly as they could.. Unfortunately, we had to make the difficult decision and say goodbye to our loving senior Retriever. Staff and Dr treated us with the utmost dignity, was extremely kind, compassionate and caring. I highly recommend.

Absolutely the best!!! People were awesome and kind. We thought my dog ate a battery. Went here on emergency hours. They were all so great. Took X-rays and found out she didn’t eat the battery. But they explained everything and were so caring to my concerns. Thank you!!!!

After I told the person who answered the doorbell that I think my dog is having respiratory problems and that the dispatcher directed me here, She said," Well, there's going to be an hour and a half wait. Did the dispatcher tell you that?" Then I went in; there was no one at the desk, no one to check me in. Nothing. I thought this was a 24 hour animal hospital!!! I stayed. My dog's resps were more regular. I think he had been exposed to fertilizer. I left without seeing one person. Very bad feelings about this place

During our visit, there seemed to be a disconnect of communication between the vet tech and the vet. Individually, both were caring with my dog. Upon intake, it was disclosed about which body part needed to be looked at and treated. The tech was great in treating my dog (fun, vibrant) and helping to make him a little more at ease during the wait for the vet. Once the vet came in to inspect him, she was a little confused as to what she was to be looking for. Again, it was disclosed to her which part was cause for concern. Over the course of 5-1/2 hours (one other room occupied prior to our arrival), and a single x-ray for an area of secondary concern which showed no fractures or breaks, he was taken back for more x-rays to check the original area of concern, at which point, the vet stated nothing broken, but she finally saw one small puncture and that the rest was consistent with an allergy, as with a sting. Treated with antihistamine and steroid. Long story longer, area of concern blew up once more after histamine and steroid effects wore off, come to find out, it's no sting, but a BITE - two punctures, not one. Wound is now draining the toxin as it should be. All that can be said is, it must be nice to have such a fancy new building and charge over half a grand for a diagnosis and treatment that was wrong. I'm not so sure I could recommend this place, even if someone's pet's life depended on it. Please use caution considering this place.

If you care about your pet please avoid this facility at all cost.. The lack of compassion and sympathy is disgusting.

Our 13yr shih tzu had an issue that warranted a vet visit. Love that an appt is not necessary at Crossroads! The staff was great and we worked w Dr.Fisher and Savannah that day. Everything was explained clearly. Dr Fisher followed up on lab results the next day and left a detailed message which was great so we didn't have to play phone tag. Our Mia has a new vet! Thank you all.

The day time staff is super friendly (I had a brief encounter with a doctor during after hours and I didn’t care for her). Some times it can be busy since it’s walk in only, but overall I would not say wait times are bad. Went in today and Jaylen was amazing with my German Shepherd. I love it when the staff is understanding of different breeds’ personalities, and she was very kind and friendly. The facility is nice and spacious and I appreciate that I can go in with my dog to ask questions and be present during the visit.

I recently switched to crossroads for my 2 Shepard’s. I am so happy with the care they have received. Dr Fisher has even called me to follow up and see how they were doing during treatments. I am very cautious with who takes care of my dogs …
