I take my french bulldog to Northgate and they are exceptional! I just had her spayed and the entire experience was great. The Drs and staff are great!!

My husband and I have been bringing our fur babies to Northgate for over 20 years. We are treated well by the friendly staff every time we visit, second only to the very friendly and loving way the staff interact with our pets. Northgate isn't the most affordable vet clinic in the world, but the vet we see, Dr Stahlheber, makes it worth every penny. As long as Dr Stahlheber is at Northgate, we will continue bringing our precious babies in to see him. I would highly recommend Northgate Animal Hospital to every fur baby's parent, and my husband and I personally plan to continue with them long into the future.

I've been to several other clinics such as Monclair in millstadt and BAC in Belleville. A friend of mine had told me to go to Northgate made the appointment right off the bat they usually go ahead and muzzle my German Shepherd mix here he's been here a couple of times now and they have not had to muzzle him. For me that for him to have that experience and it be positive means a lot to both of us Dr Lucas is very professional and truly understands his patients. I'm glad that I have found a vet that means every requirement that I need and makes it a positive experience for my pet. I would highly recommend using them as your next vet to take guy visit.

Amazing place! We have seen many of the doctors who are all amazing and staff is always pleasant. I’ve had a few emergency visits with my dog and they have always been very kind to get me in as soon as possible (which is usually very quick!)

I absolutely love the care my dogs receive from Northgate Small Animal Hospital! They are professional, kind, and understanding. Dr. Stalheber is knowledgeable and always knows how to handle any matter we might come in with. We drive half an hour away to come here for vet visits because they are worth the drive!

Just took my two pups there for the first time and we will def be repeat visitors. They were very patient with my anxious dog, and while she may not have seemed calm, it’s the least stressed I’ve seen her at a vet. They were also great with my beefy boy as well. Pricing was fair and the appointments went smooth. Everyone was very friendly. Vet visits are always stressful but this was definitely one of the easier visits for me! Thank you staff and Dr Amy, you were all very great!

I literally called over 20+ Veterinarians yesterday because my puppy had an infection. No one was accepting new patients. Local vets were sending me to emergency and the emergency were sending me to locals. I just moved here from Oklahoma for school, so I was freaking out. I was able to get right in at Northgate. Everyone was the sweetest and most caring to my baby girl. Dr. Edgar and her assistant Joseph were amazing. Don’t go anywhere else. Thank you guys so much!

I had an emergency come up, just happened to be during normal business hours luckily. They were so busy and had no openings. They took me anyway, and saved my little guys life! I know he wouldn’t have made it without them! I’m so grateful!

I have been bringing my pets here for several years. I had a few mediocre vets before and only came here because my old vet couldn’t get me in for a week even though my dog needed to be seen right away for an injury. I’m so so so glad I found them! I’ve seen Dr Kennedy, Dr Stalheber and Dr Edgar and all of them have been very knowledgeable and proactive on keeping my pets healthy. I brought my dog in last year because she was acting completely out of the ordinary and I knew something was very wrong even though her symptoms didn’t add up to much. Dr. Kennedy took my concerns seriously and my dog ended up having emergency surgery that saved her life. She followed up regularly to see how my dog was doing and it was obvious that she really cares deeply about her patients. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Very helpful and answered my questions regarding training, use of training vibrator should not be used on Rocky, l received information on trainers to consider for Rocky. He is very shy.

I cannot say enough about the doctors, techs, office staff....all of them. The care they provided my my almost 14 year old baby girl Ella (dog) went above and beyond what my expectations ever could've been. They make it affordable to have your pets taken care of. They do not force testing and procedures on you, they give you options and let you choose. The last 13 months of my Ella's life have been hard to say the least but they cared for her with the utmost care, concern, and respect. They were very informative on everything needed to help her. When she declined drastically a few months ago they did not force me to euthanize her; in fact, they gave me the piece of mind by giving pain meds to try to help. When the time came today to finally say goodbye they did not rush any part of the process. It was the hardest decision of my life but the compassion the staff showed was amazing. They sat with me and her, listened to stories about her life, answered my questions, and did not shove me out the door as soon as she was gone. I HIGHLY recommend them for all your pet care needs. They'll forever hold a special place in my heart and my entire experience with them will remain with me forever.

We love this place!!! They are so sweet and they know so much about dogs. I have two dogs and they are so sweet to them. We always go to Dr, Stahlheber! He is truly amazing! You can tell how much he loves animals and his job. Very, very knowledgeable and their prices are quite a bit more reasonable than other vets. They also don’t push for things that are not needed. We love Northgate Small Animal Hospital!! Highly recommend!
