I have been using the services of Windy City Paws for the last year, having them walk a dog for an elderly relation 7 days a week, twice, sometimes three times a day. They are absolutely the BEST service I have ever used. I have my own dogs and have experienced other walking services and no service compares to Windy City. They have NEVER cancelled a walk or left us without a walk for the dog. The owner of the dog is truly unable to walk the dog and no matter the day, the holiday or weather, Windy City has never left us without a walk. They are so wonderful and flexible and have added walks when needed. They truly care about the animal in their care and they have great communication via email and a private portal. They have made suggestions for the dogs care, such as needing booties or balm for his paws and have reported medical issues to me immediately. They send several pictures for each walk and let me know what he did on the walk each time. I would highly recommend Windy City Paws to anyone - and as soon as my dog needs a walker when we return to work full time I will absolutely be using them for my own dog. They are truly amazing.

We have used Windy City Paws for check ins on our cat, hamsters, and fish and every time they have done an amazing job with care and communication. They are super professional and I love getting my daily reports with photos! I would highly recommend them for your pet care needs when you are away!

You want Windy City Paws walking your dog. I had to select all the good things about them because they earned all of them. Although they were $5 more than my previous service, it's absolutely worth it. The introduction process is so thorough and professional. They will learn about you and your dog on multiple calls and then follow the guidelines you agree upon to a T. It's been 2+ months and I've had no issues. I can book a walk on relatively short notice (although I really try not to!) and I've had exceptional communications from them. The notes they leave after a walk are heart meltingly sweet and the app works great. 10/10 do recommend. Jack

I struggle to verbalize how much I appreciate Windy City Paws and all they have done for us. My family and I went to Europe for three weeks and this was the longest time we have ever left our pet alone. We had never used a pet sitting service before, and to say I was anxious is an understatement. From our initial consultation, WCP was caring, validating, and supportive. During our time away, WCP was in constant communication (sent photos and updates every day) and were immediately responsive to any outreach. We love working with Windy City Paws, as does our dog, Essie! The entire team is communicative, responsive, professional and flexible. We especially love working with Matt K, our regular dog walker. He takes Essie on great adventures through the local park and waterfront, and she always comes home happily tired out! Matt also takes awesome photos and shares fun updates with us about their daily walks. He’s been so flexible when we’ve had schedule changes come up, which we really appreciate.

I used Windy City Paws recently for a 3 week international vacation to visit my cats in my home twice a day. They were organized, professional, and reliable. I got a note and pictures with every visit and I could easily chat with my sitters through the app. Great experience! I highly recommend them!

Windy City Paws is wonderful! My dog is a bit leash-reactive after being attacked a few years ago by an off-leash dog and we’ve been working on positive reinforcement training to help build his confidence on walks. All three walkers we’ve had (Dustin, Ryan, and Olivia) have been kind enough to continue this training that we typically use on our walks. The consistency is really appreciated and I love the reading the follow-up notes from the walk and of course getting cute pictures!

If you need a dog walker, look no further! Before bringing our puppy home, I reached out to Windy City Paws. Gary followed up with a phone call within 10 minutes of submitting the request form (on a WEEKEND). I wasn’t available to answer, so he left a voicemail and sent an email so I could respond whichever way was easier for me. The whole process has been seamless. Our walker, Olivia, has come twice a day, three days a week. She has been reliable, great with our puppy who is in the process of potty and crate training. She has left the most detailed post-visit reports with pictures (example included). The app WCP uses is a great way to easily communicate details, as they are forever changing. We are clients for life. We could not ask for better service or better communication!

It has been such a pleasure working with Windy City Paws. They are extremely responsive, understanding, and very accommodating. Every time we need extra help, they are always able to accommodate us. The administrative staff is super helpful and kind. Our dog walkers, Masheika and Kayla, are the best! Our pup loves them. Her tail is always wagging when they come to pick her up! It gives me peace of mind to know that my dog is in such good hands. I can't thank you all enough for taking such good care of our pup!

I've used Windy City Paws for almost 5 years with 3 different dogs, and they have been absolutely great. We've had a few different walkers over the years, but Meghan has been among the very best. She is so patient with my rambunctious pups, and I really appreciate how she works on reenforcing their commands. They love her too and have even started pacing in anticipation around the time she typically comes for their walks. I cannot recommend Windy City Paws and Meghan enough.

Meghan G has been just awesome with my Shiba Inus. Had a rocky start with my move to Chicago from St. Louis, but the support and care she has been giving my boys when I’m doing 10-12 hour shifts has been more than just piece of mind. Little Rashi has a new best friend and I couldn’t be happier (aside from Yoshi) All the crew at Windy City have been beyond accommodating and kind. Glad I was given the recommendation!

I recently moved from the suburbs to the city and wanted to make sure dog was walked while I was at work to make the transition smoother. I interviewed another company and ended up scheduling a meet and greet with WCP based on their great reviews. I was so impressed at the level of detail from the meet and greet that I knew my dog was going to be in goods hands. I was paired with Jonathan who couldn't be more kind. My dog loves her walks and I feel comfortable with my walker knowing he is responsive and super professional. Could not be happier with my decision to go with WCP.

We moved two months ago to Chicago with our family and our dog and we were looking for a good dog walking service. We are very happy that we immediately found Windy City Paws. Nancy is our Bernese Mountain Dog's loyal dog walker and she is absolutely great. Not only for walking him, but also keeping him company in the shade when the temperatures are rising in the 90's here. I find her and the service very reliable and I would definitely recommend her and Windy City Paws to others. Ps. I have been using Windy City Paws for training walks 3x/week for a month now and am so thrilled with this service! First off, this company is very well-organized and easy to communicate with. I have had a couple of last minute schedule changes and they were easy to reach and always a pleasure to talk to. My dog's trainer is Michael B and I'm very happy we got him! I've noticed my dog is calmer and more obedient on her walks, and she even learned some new tricks that have transferred well with me. The app they use is awesome too. Easy to use and convenient to let our trainer know any last-minute details. They update you after each walk, which is super cute and I love reading the recaps! Definitely recommend.

WCP and Wes are the BEST!!! My family has been using WCP now for about a year and we can't say enough good things about this company. WCP is professional, reliable and very responsive, the online portal is easy to use and we just love getting our daily updates with pics from Wes after Remy's walks. Wes is incredible. Remy our dog adores him and you can tell how caring he is with her as well. I honestly can't speak more highly of both Wes and WCP and trust them whole heartedly with our beloved pup.

Recently used Windy City Paws for cat sitting- and was very impressed! The cat sitters are very responsive and helped ensure my feline pals were comfy, safe and having a good time. Highly reccomend.

Windy City Cats is excellent. They work with your schedule and needs, they are maximally communicative, and the daily care and updates went beyond my most optimistic expectations. An example: My catsitter updated me that wet food was running low, I put in an order, and they took my package inside to complete their visit when it arrived. Consider myself a loyal customer going forward.

The experience that I receive on a day to day basis is amazing. If you want a professional service that takes care of there employees, then in turn takes care of your pet, look no further. Having a stubborn French Bulldog is always a challenge, not for Valerie. She takes his "personality" and runs with it! I couldn't ask for anymore care from her, she genuinely cares for my dog and it shows. You can for sure go with other services, might even be a couple of bucks less. If you want peace of mind and quality care for your dog, Valerie, and Windy City Paws is all you need!

Windy City Paws took the time to get to know us and our beloved Cats through an extensive and detailed process which we were able to engage with virtually. After the interview process, they followed up with notes from our meeting that documented the answers to our various questions, as well the detailed content of their understanding of the pet care needs of our family. We are very impressed with the systematic structure of their business and the care they take in assessing their client’s pet care situation and needs. While we were away for about a week, our two cats were lovingly cared for twice each day by Windy City Paws caregiver “Valerie”, who showered them with attention and affection. She took many pictures of “the boys” playing, eating and snuggling with each other, and with her. It was clear that Valerie is a consummate professional pet caregiver who delights in her work and who takes great pride in developing her own relationship with her furry clients We really appreciated Valerie’s daily communications and photos - it gave us great peace of mind to see them romping around, eating and generally doing GREAT!! If I could give more stars, I would. Windy City Paws has been walking my pup for over a year now and every single walk has been amazing. Veronica is the BEST! Uni is always excited for her walks each day and I just love all the pictures she sends me of Uni. She goes above and beyond and notifies me through her write up each day if there are areas I need to watch out about Uni - consistency of her poop, if there is a cut on her paw, etc. We love Windy City Paws and Veronica!

We used Windy City Paws for a week of cat sitting and were extremely pleased with the service we got from Valerie C. We have a cat (Whiskey) that requires a lot of stimulation/play time that made us worried about being gone for a week. We had made specific requests about play time and making sure toys weren't lost/stuck somewhere that he couldn't get to them. Not only did Valerie follow all of these instructions, but she went above and beyond by bringing some of her own interactive cat toys from home (after asking if it was alright with us) to ensure that Whiskey was fully worn out from playing by the time she left. We are now much more comfortable with being away and knowing he'll be alright with this kind of service.

I needed reliable cat sitting for a full three months while I was out of town. Was super nervous about entrusting someone with this for so long, but Windy City Paws completely delivered. They communicate clearly and work to make sure that the same sitter checks in on your pets for extended stays to minimize their stress. The thorough updates along with pictures really takes the stress out of the process. Also the portal they use makes it easy to communicate with sitters directly as well as manage your care instructions, pay invoices, schedule additional services etc. I also found their pricing to be very reasonable. They have definitely found a customer for life!

My husband and I love Windy City Paws! Our primary walker is amazing - he knows our dogs well, handles them in any situation (they can be pretty hyper), and gives them lots of love. I feel grateful they are in his care. The other walkers we’ve used have been great too, and the company is great at scheduling, communication, and customer service! They are excellent and I highly recommend them to any pup parent!

I'm SO happy I found WCP. They take such good care of my pup Zoe while I'm away at work, always responsive and accommodating.
