Dr. Murphy and her team (Amanda and Cynthia) are a gift to pet parents! I brought my dog to see a couple of other vets and just wasn't comfortable that they were a good fit as they seemed to prioritize profits over good care. I decided to try West Wrigley Animal Hospital based on a recommendation from a friend and our experiences here have been fabulous! Dr. Murphy is thorough without recommending anything excessive, the prices/rates are more than fair, and it's obvious both she and her team love caring for animals! If you need a vet or are going to one that you aren't entirely satisfied with, I would highly recommend this team!!!

Very lucky I found Dr Murphy's practice. Not only is Dr Murphy brilliant, but everything was taken care of so quickly. They even have nail clipping services for my puppy. I would not trust anyone else.

Prior to West Wrigley Animal Hospital, I was taking my 3 y/o ACD to VCA. My rescue dog previously had some dental damage in her past life and needed 12 teeth removed. After being recommended to West Wrigley by a friend, I took my dog in for a dental estimate and found that West Wrigley was able to do the same procedure and quality of work for significantly less. Dr. Murphy also went above and beyond and followed up with a local dental expert for a second opinion. All staff at West Wrigley are attentive and friendly - always remembering my dog and me when we are at the front door for check ups and kindly checking in on how she was after every procedure. I highly recommend West Wrigley to all my friends and am sad that I am moving. I hope to find a veterinary clinic just like West Wrigley at my new location :)

LOVE this clinic. I’ve been bringing my dog (mini poodle mix) here since moving to Chicago and Dr. Murphy has been great. She’s always super clear about my dogs needs and treatment options for any issues.

Dr. Murphy and staff are friendly, responsive, and knowledgeable. I've been taking my mini dachshund there for about 18 months and always have a pleasant experience. The staff is prompt, capable, and communicative. They work great with my very nervous dog and always let us know exactly what they're doing and about how long a given appointment will take. They even take the time to make a follow up call and check in and give you test results over the phone. Dr. Murphy always takes her time, explains her process and I never feel rushed. I look forward to visits with the entire staff and would highly recommend this practice to anyone. I know my dog is in great hands!

Dr. Murphy and her staff are truly the best around. You can tell how much they truly care about your animal based on how they handle them and administer all of the shots in front of you. Love them and trust them completely!

Great place to take your pets for one on one individualized care.

I can't say enough good about Dr. Murphy. I have 2 cats that are just over a year old now and decided to take them here when several other vets could not properly diagnose their continuous ear infections (I spent about $1,000 before discovering Dr. Murphy). Dr. Murphy gave them a proper diagnosis and treatment plan in my first visit. Since then, I've taken them in for their 1 year check up/vaccines, a nail ripped out of the paw at the root, overgooming/anxiety, and yowling and Dr. Murphy has saved my sanity and made my cats feel better because of her insight and knowledge. She's able to diagnose them on a first visit and notices things that don't line up exactly with the symptoms I describe and instead does a full examination to really figure out what's wrong with them. Additionally, the employees here are absolutely wonderful (unlike other places I've been) and delightful to work with. I'm honestly totally blown away. I first came here feeling hopeless that I'd get a proper treatment plan for my kitties and Dr. Murphy has hit the nail on the head 100% of the time. I will not go to another vet. Thank you so much for all you've done for me and my cats!!!

They do a wonderful job with our cat Smokey, who can be a bit difficult at times. The staff there sung to her to calm her down!! This place comes recommended by one of the top zoological vets in the country. Expect top-notch care and friendly service every visit!

We had a big scare with our mini dachshund, who ate some rat poisin outside of a nearby restaurant, but Dr. Murphy and the amazing team at West Wrigley saved the day! The team is always kind and helpful. We have been visiting the office for about a year now, and couldn't recommend them more!

I've been taking my pets to Dr. Murphy for 10 years now, and wouldn't go anywhere else in the city. She's great with even our most anxious dog, takes the time to answer all our questions, and has been amazing with our dogs from puppyhood to old age. The office even sent me a card after one of our dogs passed away from old age. And her staff has always been kind, gentle, and trustworthy with our pets. Doesn't matter what neighborhood we move to or the fact that we don't own a car - we make our way back to this vet every time.

Dr Murphy and her staff and extremely friendly and knowledgable. As a first time dog owner they have answered all of my questions no matter the subject. When I walk into their office the staff instantly knows my dog and greats her as if she is one of their own. I highly recommend to any dog owners.

Dr. Scott and Murphy are both very caring veterinarians. They are always willing to answer any questions you have about your pet’s health and overall well-being (including advice about training, behavior, etc.). The vets and staff also seem very well organized with keeping health records, communicating test results in a timely manner, etc. (something I’ve not always found true with other veterinarian offices). I highly recommend West Wrigley Animal Hospital!

Amazing vet. Been taking our cats here for years. Dr Murphy is incredibly kind and caring as is the entire staff. Small office that takes the time for your pet. Dr Murphy was so helpful when one of our cats was diagnosed with cancer. Can’t say enough good things!

West Wrigley has been my vet ever since I moved to the city over six years ago. They are small, which I love, because they know and remember my dog! Both doctors are friendly and helpful, never pushy about vaccines or treatment that isn’t necessary. The rest of the staff is very friendly and attentive (Amanda is probably my favorite!) Price-wise it seems comparable for the city. $50 for vet exam. They can print and email invoices which makes it easy to file or submit for pet insurance. Overall I love these guys and they love my pet!

My dog of 14 years and 4 months recently passed, but we had been going to West Wrigley Animal Hospital since she was about 3 years old. We worked mostly with Dr. Eileen Murphy, but we've also seen Dr. Scott, and I've never felt like my dog was in better hands. They are genuinely caring about your pets and understand that they are your babies. Even after we'd go in for a new or existing issue, and sometimes even when we didn't, they would call to check how everything was going and to make sure things were getting better. Even after our dog passed, they called to check on me and to see if I needed to talk or anything at all. My dog had several health issues during her 14 years, some serious and some not, but the the doctors and staff at West Wrigley were always on top of it, and I'm convinced we got a few more great years with our baby that we may not have gotten otherwise. They're honest in telling you what they can and cannot do in the clinic, and they've never tried to up-sell me or anything like that. They'll let you know if you should see someone at one of the specialty or emergency vet places in the city instead of them doing it all on their own. I really feel like we were friends more than clients. The staff would get excited when my dog walked through the door, and they knew who my dog was without looking it up when I would call to make an appointment. They were also always extremely helpful to get us in on short notice sometimes, even if it meant the doctor had to come in early or stay late. I was always super appreciative of that. Everything about this clinic is A+, from the doctors, to the staff, to the location (which also has parking). When my husband and I decide we are ready for another dog to join our family, it's a no brainer who I want to be in charge of his/her medical care. Thank you!

I've been taking Fozzie to West Wrigley Animal Hospital for over 5 years. Drs. Murphy and Scott are the best diagnosticians and most caring animal doctors I've ever met. We were there on 7/22/2019 and they prescribed medication for allergies, clipped Fozzie's nails, and suggested products for his arthritis. No wait. Vet techs. are also awesome...caring and knowledgeable. So glad I found them.

I have been taking all of my cats here for the last 10+ years. Both doctors are great, along with their whole staff. They've always been very accomadating and helpful throughout both healthy and sick visits for my cats. I would highly recommend them!

I cannot emphasize how professional, helpful, welcoming, knowledgeable, honest, caring and experienced this staff is. They truly care about your pet and quite frankly, the entire family! Countless times they have gone above and beyond...I recommend this practice highly and without reservation.

This place is in everyway awesome! The staff are awesome and easy to talk with. The doctor took time to show me how to cut my puppies long nails. I adopted Max 5 weeks ago and took her to 4 different vets and this is the place where I'll continue to go! And they have parking !!
