I'm very happy with my experience with this practice so far. I was previously bringing my kitten to a different vet here in Chicago (Goodvets), and I had a horrible experience with them. I started looking around for new options, and after just one visit to this place I'm blown away by the difference between the high quality, thorough service they provided me and the service I received at the other vet. Every interaction I’ve had and email I’ve gotten was polite, professional, thorough. I’ve received several follow up emails post appointment with info on how to care for my cat’s teeth and what products are veterinarian approved. There’s an online patient portal with everything I could need for my records. The actual location is much nicer looking, larger, and housing more equipment than my previous vet. Unfortunately with Covid case spikes no one is allowed in the building right now—owners must drop off their pets and wait in the car if they have one. My partner and I don’t, we take the subway everywhere, but it was still quite easy to drop off my cat in her carrier and then head over to one of the many shops or cafes in the area. They call you when your visit is complete. This is just my first visit experience, but I’m excited to have found a new vet practice that seems to hold a much higher standard for itself.

It was my first visit but all of the employees and doctors that I talked to were great and went above and beyond! I appreciated that they stayed on schedule and that the appointment overall was speedy while being thorough. They offered different treatment options for my cat and then counseled about various issues and we were able to get in and out in 30 minutes! I was able to get an appointment within a week unlike most places in Chicago that have a wait list of over a month.

I always tell dog owners about how wonderful West Loop Veterinary Care is. Doctors, technicians and staff have always provided my dog with excellent care. I really recommend this vet clinic. They are the best!

We had what we thought might be an urgent issue with our 7 month old puppy. West Loop was immediate in their response to us and we saw the vet in just a couple of hours. The prices are very reasonable, the entire staff is professional, and we couldn’t be more pleased to have our puppy become a client at West Loop.

My cat was 12 minutes late to his emergency vet appointment and they refused to even look at him only willing to reschedule for Monday (waiting 3 days with a sick cat and no recommendations on how to help him). Getting cats into a carrier is not an easy process, they should have more compassion and patience.

I have always had very helpful and pleasant interactions with all the staff at West Loop Vet Care. I feel that the techs and doctors are very clear and detailed in their explanations of my cats care. The location is very convenient for us and the care is always excellent

Front desk wasn't involved when I arrived with my dog. About four girls were chatting. It was my first time visiting and I wasn't sure what to do. Nobody asked if they could help. It took about three minutes after I caught one girl that just resumed back to the front desk. Shaking my head for their lack of professionalism. The good thing is, the vet and the technician, however, were very knowledgeable and friendly.

We truly appreciate the WLVC team. They are wonderful. The immediate care provided when we have emergency situations with our dogs and cats is beyond appreciated. The team makes us feel less worried and stressed along with our sweet animals at times we need comfort. They are gentle and positive the people as much as they are with the animals.

They have a very professional staff who is informative with the treatment recommendations and preventative care. They are upfront about the fees associated with the visit, so you aren’t surprised when checking out. Best of all, Dr. Edwards is an extremely loving and compassionate doctor who treated my bulldog with great care. She is knowledgeable and provided a thorough exam. I am very happy to call this our new vet!

Best vet experience we've ever had - the staff are kind, warm, and attentive and clearly put their pet patients first. My not-very-brave senior pup sailed through her checkup thanks to the staff and their wonderful vibe!

Everyone is super nice at West Loop Vet. I feel they take excellent care of my dog when he is with them. They always provide information in a timely manner and I feel confident in their knowledge about dogs. Best of all, my dog is not afraid to go to the vet and I think that's a huge sign that they're doing an incredible job! Promptness with everything, including: emails, calls, follow ups, questions, etc.,

My dog and I have never received this level of care before. I'm still dumbfounded at how thorough and loving the team was. Also I was do impressed with the time spent in the appointment and follow ups! At my last vet I felt like they were always rushing me. Honestly I wish my own doctor was this good.

Services are on the pricier side, but it's worth it to me for the convenience (I live close by), extended hours, and the larger staff. I also really appreciate how they have invested in the community. Everyone always follows up; and it’s really nice to be able to contact them anytime for advice or to ask questions without having to make an appointment.

I appreciate the enthusiasm and the professionalism that Dr Edwards provided during the appointment. I loved the follow up and the fact that she was so knowledgeable.

Great service, a little pricey but I have to imagine that's comparable or the neighborhood. Mainly that I trust west loop vet's credentials and experience

West Loop staff always show the greatest care and patience with my anxious dog (and me) when we visit. I highly recommend them.

I have been taking my yorkie here her entire life (11 years!) I was nervous when her original vet left, but everyone we’ve seen since has been beyond amazing. We wouldn’t keep coming here if the staff wasn’t so nice, knowledgeable, and great with my pup…who isn’t the best at the vet because of fear/anxiety. We now see Dr. Osbourne who I would recommend to anyone and the vet tech Teagan is our favorite!

Thank you to Dr. Larson and his team. I was extremely anxious about having my two dogs anesthetized for dental work. The staff and Dr. Larson kept us well informed during the procedures and both pups are home, well-recovered, happy and with better breath!

The staff at WLVC goes above and beyond to make sure my pets are well taken care of. They remember us and are always friendly and there to answer any questions I might have.

Everyone at West Loop Vet has been so nice and helpful with answering all my questions. I had never found a vet for a pet before, and I'm glad I picked the one I did. I know that when I call, email or come in that my dog is going to receive great care.
