This is where we take our Big Brown Tabby, Catriona Gray. She seems to like the veterinarians and vet technicians at this animal hospital. We frequent the place for her regular VCA care club appointments - from fecal test, vaccinations, cutting her nails, grooming, anti-flee and ticks supplements, they do it all. We are so lucky we have a good animal hospital In the Chicago area. We also get monthly reminders from the VCA app to give the revolution medications which is great! Overall, I’d fully recommend the VCA Chicago North Animal Hospital for your animal’s needs.

Generally just an okay vet compared to others I have seen.They have discounted vaccines on Thursdays for dogs. There's a $25 first time client coupon online for basic first exam, does not cover much else, they will mention to bring a stool sample when calling to schedule the appt but it is $80 which wasn't mentioned so just a heads up.

I wouldn't think that I'd need dog health insurance to afford this place. 500+ dollars for labs seems insane especially if its for the 2nd time. Its sad that the prices are so high. Nice people though! Money buys that I guess.

Our first time here today. Everyone was very helpful and informative. They are very upfront about prices.(which are very reasonable) Quick visit- both my dogs annuals and shots took under an hour (total). Covid procedure in place, and easy to follow. Thanks VCA! Dr. Egan, the techs, and receptionist were super friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Took my shelter dog here for the first time for her check-up and everything went smoothly through the Covid process. Staff has been very friendly, accommodating and thorough here and I will definitely continue to bring her in for her check-ups.

Very badly! My cat died just the day after the visit of your office! I paid a lot on medication and I couldn't give her a drop! But is not about money...it is about my sweet friend who is not here anymore!

I haven't been able to get into see a vet just yet (they're booked solid which is always a good sign of great service!) but I wanted to take a moment to give a shout out to the receptionist/scheduler I just spoke with. Kimmy was quick to the point, friendly, informative and truly helped me with my questions. While covid protocol made it a little tricky at our first appointment with having to communicate via phone calls from the parking lot and the cats gettjng picked up from the car, the technicians and vet made the experience go as smoothly as possible.

We adopted two kitties from Paws and came here for the first checkup. The staff and the veterinarian were very nice and helpful. They are also very careful about covid so you don't need to worry about this risk.

I've been taking my dog here for 9 years nows and I've always had positive experiences. I've seen a few different vets throughout the years but this usually happens when it's urgent to take my dog in and we can't wait for an appointment with Dr. Jakubowski. The staff is always great, and my dog loves going to the vet. Dr. Jakubowski is amazing; she always walks me through options, is upfront about the prices, and always calls/emails to explain test results. As my dog gets older and we make more frequent visits to the vet, I've become more grateful for the service they provide and how comfortable they make the experience for my dog.
