Swooft Dog Walking and Pet Care Chicago, Illinois

We recently used Swooft for vacation cat care and had a great experience. I needed twice daily cat sitting and even with some staffing shortages, Swooft made it work. The app is really helpful for knowing when the sitter comes and goes and the report card and photos are great as well. It was easy to leave a note on each visit when I needed to get a message to the sitter and I do feel the sitters we had went above and beyond expectations. I appreciate the lock box system Swooft has and the ability to schedule a reservation online through their website or through email. I feel comfortable letting them into my home and after a day or so, my difficult cat warmed up to both sitters :) I am thankful to have Swooft as an option for kitty care.

I worked here for a few months before a car accident ended my dog walking for a time. These days I've hired them to walk my dog, and trust them like a family member. Amazing employer, amazing business. The owner really, really cares about dogs. Only way I'm going with another walker is if I leave Chicago.

I trust them with my elderly cat! I was nervous to find someone to house sit my cat for an entire week while I was away and I'm happy i stumbled upon this service. Even though there was a worker shortage, they managed to find someone to come in every single day! Through a convenient app, you get daily pictures and a "report card" that describes how your pet is doing. You can tell they really love animals too! You really can't find a lot of services that put so much effort like this into pet sitting. There was something I wasn't happy about and I got a personal call resolving my concerns immediately. Excellent communication and customer care. Shout out to Lisa! This has to be one of the most professional experiences I've ever had. They care about customers and animals, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to everyone I know and will be using Swooft again in the future.

The walkers I have met are all professional yet very friendly. The owner has showed up to walk my dog a few times...impressive! I enjoy the Facebook posts as it provides me with photos of other dogs, their neighborhoods and the walkers. Swooft keeps me informed of changes, etc. by sending me an Email or calling me. I especially like the fact walkers go through training & are CPR Certified! As a former First Aid/CPR Instructor, I find this quite impressive. I highly recommend Swooft. It is a great business & the pets are in great hands with their staff.

The team at S’wooft are fantastic! I have a large dog and they handle him without any issue and he gets his neck scratches and fresh water as requested. Apart from regular walks, they have also provided holiday care with adding feeding and more frequent walks to the service. The Scout app they use is great and makes scheduling easy and i get as and email after each walk with notes and pictures which is so great and often funny! I couldn’t recommend S’wooft more highly!

We’ve been using S’wooft regularly since we first rescued our pup 3 years ago. They are reliable with walks and have a handy app that gives you a “report card” and picture of each walk. Bandit thinks each walker is his best friend!

S’wooft was recommended to us by a neighbor, we had just adopted two puppies ( Bennie and Ozzie) and needed help keeping the boys on a bathroom schedule. Kris stopped by met the dogs and walked through everything with us ( even gave us useful suggestions on puppy training! ) Scheduling a walk or a puppy visit (15 minutes ) is easy on the app! When ever I have a question they are quick to respond! I love the visit summary accompanied with pictures. I have a puppy cam and acouple occasions seen kris give the boys water, rub their belly giving extra love before leaving. Those moments give comforter when I’m at work. I 100% recommend to everyone that has dogs.

We’ve been using S’wooft to walk our pups for almost a year now. The walkers are great with our dogs (who tend to not love strangers on first sight), and they are always happy and well exercised when they come home. S’wooft has been great during the pandemic with safety protocols and we have continued to use them even though we are working from home. Highly recommend their services!

We can't say enough good things about our friends at S'wooft. They take such good care of our dog, (and cat!) and go the extra mile by bringing boxes in off the porch, feedings, etc. They LOVE animals and it shows in their service and commitment.

We used Swooft for 4 weeks and it was one of the worst experiences I ever had with a dog walking service. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. The walker did not close my dog’s crate properly, leaving my dog to roam our house and possibly hurt herself for 6 hours. My dog’s behavior started to change for the worst after I started using Swooft (destructive, unhappy). The app that tracks walks showed the walker taking my dog across Elston, an extremely dangerous intersection, and at one point the walker did not end the walk in the app, leaving me in a panic that my dog was missing/lost as the app showed she had been gone for over an hour. Below is Sarah, the owners response in an email, or lack of, basically stating she cannot guarantee my dog’s safety. Based on talking with Michael, in this case it was him forgetting to check out and realizing it when he got home, so it wasn’t a result of the glitch I mentioned. I apologize for this - we have full confidence in our staff, but even the best intentioned humans make small mistakes from time to time. In this case, I realize a small mistake caused a lot of stress for you and I’m very sorry about that. Both of the two matters (crate door and today) were human error - it was nothing done out of malice and isn’t something that I can promise would never happen because humans are never perfect. Please know that I’m not trying to excuse or brush off either mistake, I simply want to be realistic about what I can and can’t guarantee.

I have two fairly high maintenance/energy dogs and Sarah and the team took such good care of them and were diligent in meeting my dogs’ needs, which may be different from other dogs. I love seeing the routes they take on their walk and getting the fun notes after every visit. Thanks from Spot and Denali!

S’wooft does such a great job and is very flexible. Recently I had a family emergency and needed to travel unexpectedly, and S’wooft worked with me to cover walks for my dog while I was gone. And, when I needed to extend my travel, it was no problem. Their prices are reasonable and have high value, their walkers are kind and thoughtful, and the app works great. I’m a big fan.

I started using s'wooft about a year ago when I couldn't walk my dog anymore with kids and with winter approaching. I intentionally intended to only use their service to get through the winter months but we loved the service so much we decided to keep it going. The only reason we are canceling now is because we are getting relocated to a different state. I will certainly miss Blanca and I know our dog will miss her too!

Swooft is a professionally operated organization with a heart of gold. Our dogs LOVE their pet sitter. The communication, including the pictures, about each visit is excellent!. Additionally, as a busy professional, I need to be able to depend on my pet sitting friends. I absolutely can with the Swooft team. There's a crispness and efficiency with their business processes as well. I wholeheartedly recommend their services.

My adorable pug is 15, nearly deaf and pretty much blind. So we don't need anyone to spend an hour at the park with her. More like a quick trip outside and then lots of love inside. I knew I chose right when I got the first note from S'wooft, saying they were playing hide and seek with her to get a sense of how well she can see and hear. So sweet! I just got another one about how she was so sound asleep, the walker just kept petting her for two minutes until she finally opened her eyes. His note said, "I bet she had a lovely dream." 99% of people would've just grabbed her and headed outside, but not S'wooft. You can tell they’re real animal lovers, and that means the world to me.

Sarah is great and all the walkers treat our dog like their own. Service is quick and and proves are reasonable. Would recommend them to anyone!

My wife and I love the daily updates we receive about our dog from Swooft. It is really comforting to know our fur baby is taken good care of while we're at work, & if something appears "off" to the walker,we are always informed. Very professional, friendly and easy to work with our hectic 9-5 schedules.

We LOVE S'wooft. They have been walking our dogs for over a year now and the service we receive is exceptional. Zoe and Daisy love Ryan, who is absolutely amazing.
