Me and my partner adopted two kittens from them and couldn't have been happier with the process. They were patient with us, explained everything in detail and made us feel so comfortable during the adoption process. The kittens we're already spayed and neutered, litter trained and received their shots BEFORE we brought them home and the shelter even gave us some food to start off with. We're so happy with our kittens and would recommend this shelter to anyone!

We adopted from Red Door after trying out other adoption locations. They are really well organized, well informed and very dedicated and knowledgeable. We felt we were in good hands. They are one of the best if not the best place to adopt rabbits from. They also have cats who are treated well and lovely.

They make it way too hard and send you through hoops to give an animal up for adoption there. The first thing they say is don’t list on Facebook etc but they make you resort to do so. Listed rabbit on fb day later it was gone. Messed around with them for two months.

In April 2021 I brought my male lopp rabbit-Hoptimus Prime there to have a speed date with the eligible bunny bachelorettes. The place was full with happy and well- kept animals waiting to find their forever family. Bonding specialist Stephanie assisted me every step of the way to making sure the rabbits were safe and going to be a good bonding pair. We had space to sit and be involved in the rabbits meeting and at the end of the day I got to bring home a beautiful female rabbit. About two months later now with a lot of patience and work they are a fully bonded couple and it’s completely worth it! They cuddle together , play and are in such bunny love ❤️ thank you to the whole team and a special shout out to Stephanie for helping us find our furry addition to the family!

Red Door gives bunnies and kitties a chance to find their forever homes. We adopted a bun years ago and will be adopting another very soon :-) We drive nearly an hour to adopt at Red Door because we support their efforts to save rabbits and educate the public.

I’ve taken my bunnies here for bunny spa day and also for boarding. I trust them implicitly with my babies and they truly help SO MANY animals. The best part is them helping rescue dumped rabbits. I have a ton of respect for their work.

We boarded our bunny while we were away for 12 days and Red Door took great care of her! I usually worry a lot when we leave her but I talked to the person that manages the boarding and she really helped calm my anxiety. They have meds and fluids and critical care on hand for any minor tummy issues, and were pros at giving her daily meds. I’m so happy we boarded her there and will continue to do so in the future!

Red door is a shelter that cares about its animals with excellent, knowledgeable staff. They take the time to match a potential adopter with a good fit for them and to match a rabbit with a good fit for a bonded partner.

We adopted three cats there back in 2000 - the year they might have opened? They were admirably concerned about our competence, but they trusted us. Thank you so much for the great work you do.

The employees and volunteers truly care about the animals and provide them with a loving, safe, spacious, and clean home until adoption. As a no-kill shelter, they are often the only safe haven for discarded bunnies, ducks, and chicks year round, but especially after Easter. There are also amazing, spacious areas for cats too!

I recently brought my rabbit in for nail trimming. I was so impressed with Red Door. I would highly recommend it to anyone with a rabbit! I am a new owner so I was pretty nervous about cutting his nails. They took him in right away and it was so easy! He didn't even have time to complain. I would recommend emailing and setting up an appointment.

My boyfriend and I wanted to adopt a cat and Red Door was the third shelter we went to. Unlike the others we checked, the cats that are easy going and getting along with other felines are cage free and hanging out together in different rooms. The staff is really friendly and professional. They would answer every question you have about the adoption and help you out through the whole process. When we decided to adopt Ed, the people there where so happy for us and a little bit sad at the same time because they truly love and care about every animal sleeping under their roof.

This place has to be the most adorable and well maintain shelter in the area. I was welcomed to receive some help during my time of need, and my Puppy "Rocco" and I want to thank the staff including Toni for their support. We were able to receive a healthy meal thanks to the caring people of Reddoor. God Bless!
