The dogs have a nice sized space to run around. The attendants engage with the dogs. There is webcam access, to peek at your pooch during their stay. Everyone is so friendly, they put me at ease leaving my Sir Remington. We found our new Doggy Daycare!

I always love bringing my dogs to pooch hotel. When I’m away they give me peace of mind, knowing that my dogs are in good hands. Every time I drop off my dogs they can’t wait to greet the staff and to me that’s a sign that they enjoy their stay their too .

I have been taking my dog to Pooch Hotel West Loop for boarding and daycare since she was a few months old, and have had nothing but wonderful experiences. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and I always feel comfortable leaving my dog in their care. I couldn't recommended Pooch Hotel enough!

Daisy, our 2 year old dog, stayed at The Pooch Hotel over Christmas 2021. She loved it as far as we can tell. We were able to check in on her from time to time via the doggie cam. She really enjoyed play time with the other dogs. She came home tired (which is good) and with no newly-acquired bad habits (which is even better). We will definitely board her at The Pooch Hotel again.

My dog loves the staff here. And I'm pretty sure the feeling is mutual. They take great care of him and understand his personality and needs might be different than the other canines, but they love him. I like that its 24/7. For my work schedule I find it very convenient. I have tried a few daycares in Chicago but this place checks all my boxes.

While I am glad I had the camera for my dog, I felt that I was not informed of anything when I dropped my dog off. They immediately wanted to take him back but I just had questions about payment and how to access the cameras so I think maybe providing some information (especially for someone who was there for the first time) would be helpful and reassuring. My dog is my treasure so it’s nice for places/people to be upfront and open to sharing info. Maybe that’s just me? They did listen to me when I suggested to move his bed where he seemed to be lying down the most. It seemed that the employees in the play areas did attend to the pups properly and did take my dog out when it was getting a little rowdy. He was the smallest dog in the big dog room but he held his own and kinda kept to himself or was hanging around the employees mostly. Overall, I think I would use them again but would probably explore some other options nearby before taking back again.

We love pooch hotel! They are the nicest, most accommodating, and dog loving staff! The place is also always so clean and put together. My dog cannot wait to get inside and never wants to leave! They are also extremely organized and always communicate anything very well, and professionally. We have never had any issue and we constantly talk to families around the neighborhood about where we go and how great and worth it Pooch Hotel West Loop is!

I have been taking my dog Leo to Pooch Hotel West Loop for two years. I am 100% comfortable with leaving him in their care. The entire team is great, but wanted to give a shout out to Molly, Carlos, and Annette who have been so helpful over the years. There are two semi-newer females there that are also great but sadly I do not know their names. I trust Annette for all my grooming needs and will be a customer at Pooch Hotel for years to come. Their training program is very good with Jon as well.

We tried Pooch Hotel for the first time for two nights and our dog loved it. We enjoyed the webcam access and the daily photo. She came home happy and tired. We will be back!

Everyone at Pooch Hotel was very helpful and attentive to us and our puppy. They have a third party answering their phones so I kept getting hung up on and it was not easy to get through to anyone and ask questions but once we found out the right email to get through to them directly they were very responsive. While we were out of town I asked how our puppy was doing and one of the team members called me right away to let us know he was doing very well. Every time we watched him on the webcam it looked like he was having a blast playing with the other dogs. He came home very tired and happy. Would highly recommend!

I’ve had my dog stay at the pooch hotel a few times now and have had issues with the reservation system each time. On top of that, I was told that due to the reservation being made but the room type I reserved not being available, I’d be upgraded for free. When I checked out, I was charged the normal rate for the upgraded room and was told to reach out to their feedback team. I did and have yet to hear back or be issued a refund.

I can't say enough great things about Pooch Hotel West Loop! They were able to accommodate a 10 night boarding stay for our terriers on short notice (1 week notice). The team always answers the phone and responds to emails in a timely manner. Our terriers cannot play in the group and Pooch Hotel West Loop told us that they can do solo play instead. I haven't traveled in over a year and was worried that the dogs might be overwhelmed in a new place for over a week, but the "Pupdates" that I received every 2 days put my mind at ease. Both days had bright eyes and I could tell they were happy and not stressed. They received a lot of love and attention! I wish I traveled more so I could bring the dogs there more often. We'll definitely come back again and highly recommend their team to take care of your pooch!

Pooch hotel has been my go to throughout the first 7 months of my current city puppy ownership. Day care, initial grooming, boarding - they do it all, and there’s even a webcam so I can spy on my boy when I feel like it (days only unless one pays for premium overnight accommodations, which I haven’t done so far). I’ve left him more than once with medications (no problem, they take care of pill giving, no extra charge), toys (other than one time I get everything back), and special instructions and most everything gets taken care of and he comes home happy and exhausted. My only reservations are that I’ve never actually seen a “bedroom” or met any daytime caregivers - though I’ve spied on them, and people I have met (desk staff, groomer) really seem solid, gentle and caring - so, what more can I really ask? —last weekend I splurged on his first massage, and I swear he came home even more mellow than usual. That’s pretty cool, right?

My 3 dogs stayed here for 6 days, and I've boarded my them in 5 places over the years, and Pooch Hotel makes even the most of those look bad. They were so caring and responsive, always answering our calls and questions. One of my dogs is very sick and they stuck to his food/medication schedule, called to ask a question about something we forgot to mention during check-in, and left notes on their suite to make sure all the staff knew about his special needs. I loved that they had cameras in the suite and during the play groups, and I frequently saw staff playing with the dogs and promoting healthy play in the group. They have beds in the play rooms too, so my older dogs would take a comfy nap when they needed to. I was surprised that they staff was so patient with us testing out if our special needs dog could be in play group at all, then for half days, then for full days – super appreciated it and I'm happy that he was able to enjoy play groups like his brother and sister. We had them groomed before coming home and they looked + smelled great too. Another thing is the offer they have going on right now for medical staff. My partner hasn't been on a vacation in years thanks to COVID and he really appreciated that we could save a little and have our dogs stay in such a nice facility. Idk if this is going to be a permanent offer, but we appreciate that they're doing their part to say thanks to medical folks. FInally, when I called to say thank you after we got back home, they even asked about him to make sure he was doing okay after his stay. I will absolutely be taking them back to Pooch Hotel whenever we are back in Chicago, and I couldn't recommend this place more.

I was so impressed with Pooch Hotel! It’s so nice to know that my pet is so well taken care of while I’m out of town! You can’t put a price tag on that! My dog loves going to Pooch… It’s like a vacation for him! If you ever need your dog boarded, this is the place to go!

I initially called the location on Clybourn and unfortunately I can’t remember the gal’s name I spoke to. She was SO helpful!! She told me the “suites” were bigger at the West Loop location. I immediately felt so good about The Pooch Hotel because of their honesty. It wasn’t about trying to just get customers through their doors! Then I spoke to Jenn at the West Loop location. She really is the reason we decided to board our 8 year old baby there! She was so reassuring and accommodating. This was the first time we ever boarded her for more than a couple of days. We have recommended The Pooch Hotel to our friends and family! We will definitely be back!

No complaints! My dog was boarded for 4 nights at Pooch Hotel West Loop & I was able to see him on the live cam and I received 2 photos of his time there. This was a good mix of communication for the stay. Staff was very kind and professional. Drop off and pick up were easy. My only wish is that I had a more detailed report when I picked him up. I like to hear if he made friends or played or how be behaved. I am bringing him back later this month & would recommend to a friend. Thanks!

I loved Pooch Hotel - the service completely exceeded my expectations. My pup was very nervous about being boarded for the first time and the Pooch Hotel staff did everything in their power to make her more comfortable and always kept me in the loop which I super appreciated. Will absolutely be using them in the future for boarding and doggy day care

My two cavapoos, 2 and 3 years old, are pretty anxious with strangers and have some separation anxiety. I’ve tried some other boarding places in and out of the city but Pooch is the first place the dogs had such a great experience I didn’t think they’d want to come home! My dogs came home pleasantly exhausted and were all smiles and tail wags when I got to check on them on the webcams. The webcams are so reassuring. The app is incredibly easy to use to check on the pups and book reservations (which I booked their next stay right away for my next weekend away). The 24/7 check in/out system is so clutch because I hate when I have to add a day of boarding on one or both ends of a trip because of restricted drop off/pick up times. There’s also a price reduction when you have multiple dogs which is very helpful. Also, one of my dogs has come home sick more than once after boarding at other places, but both dogs came home healthy and VERY happy. Registering the pups, using the reservation system in the app, and checking in/pick up were all so quick and easy it seemed too good to be true. It made my vacation better knowing my pups were safe and well looked after and playing all day long.

My dog has special needs and cannot participate in group daycare so finding care is quite a challenge. He has a private suite and personal play when he spends the day and receives excellent care. The staff are responsive and sensitive to his needs and he lights up when he sees them. He has a full groom once a month to stay handsome and clearly loves the treatments that he receives!

I absolutely recommend Pooch Hotel for daycare, boarding and grooming. Billy has been attending Puppy's Day Out every Tuesday all summer and it made him such a social butterfly. We moved onto trying a full day of daycare once he got all of his vaccinations as we were preparing for a trip and wanted him to get used to being away from us for a longer period. As predicted, he did very well and I felt super confident having him board for an extended period. We opted for the presidential suite because the executive suites were all taken. I wanted to have Webcam access to his play area and his bedroom, which both executive and presidential both offer. However, the pres suite also offers a TV AND a toddler bed! They gave him stairs as well because his corgi legs couldn't get up on the bed. While we were gone, in addition to 24/7 Webcam access, Pooch also sent emails with pictures. They also responded to any questions via email right away to put any anxieties to rest. On his last day, before pick up, I opted for grooming and they did such a wonderful job! He looked and smelled like he never rolled around and played with his doggie friends :)) I added pictures that Pooch sent me of my baby. He was treated like a Corgi King!

My canine baby had a wonderful stay and returned home without the usual anxiety from previous boarding.

Dropped of my dog for the day. As soon as we got him back, he peed outside for at least a minute, threw up in the middle of the night, and had diarrhea for the next 2 days. Probably won’t be back. Convenient 24/7 pick-up.

Annette is the only groomer I trust with my dog. She is patient and gives him breaks as needed because he is stubborn and a senior. She really listens to what cut you're looking for, but is also very honest which I love since I'm not an expert in grooming and she helps me understand what is going to be done. ///// Still the only groomer I trust with dog!
