I love taking my dog here, very convenient and they always do a great job with him! He's a pretty anxious guy so it's not lost on me that he comes back relaxed. Definitely recommend!

They are very friendly here and always try to accommodate us day of, highly recommend! My baby loves them, she usually hates getting her nails trimmed but they make her feel comfortable.

Jazmin was absolutely amazing. I took my dog to petco a few times before and my dog was always scared and wanted to run away from the place, I thought it was normal. When I took him to Paws-a-tively, i was nervous about how my dog was going to react but when I picked him up he was very happy and running around. Price was very reasonable as well! $59 and It Included bath,haircut and nail trim. At petco I’d pay $70 ish for only bath and haircut and they left my dog traumatized. I’m definitely taking my dog again to Jazmin!

We took our VERY anxious furry baby to get his nails trimmed. The groomers and guy at the front desk were so patient and were able to work with us. Happy to have found a place that can work with him. Thank you so so so much!!

I was nervous to bring our puppy in for his first groom but this place did an amazing job! We will definitely be coming back. I've heard it can be hard to find someone to do a great job with labradoodles but I can't imagine anyone could do a better job than this!

I love this small business! I have a very shy Bernedoodle, and the Pawsitively team has been so patient with her. They're great at listening to exactly what I want and delivering, without over-cutting or styling her in a way I don't like. They really listen and give individual attention to you and your dog. I feel lucky to have found them!

Took my puppy here for his first grooming. They did great with his hair trim, nail clips, teeth, and bath. Very friendly staff with flexible appointment times. We’ll be back

I've been taking my dog Dakota here for 3+ years and she always comes back nicely groomed. The staff is friendly as well!

After taking our dog to 2 other not-so-great (to put it nicely) groomers in Chicago, we finally found THE PLACE. They are experienced, knowledgeable, friendly, flexible, accommodating, organized and professional. They did an excellent job with our dog and were great to communicate with. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place to all.

DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE. We called ahead to book an appointment for our golden doodle puppy and were told to come by "sometime between 8am and 10am." When we arrived, they had no record we had contacted them and held our puppy there for 3 hours. We specifically asked for a wash and a nail trim and for them to NOT cut his hair. They shaved between his eyes and cut one of his nails so low he is bleeding. Absolutely furious. Spare your pet, there are plenty of other groomers in the area.

For starters let me just say they did a great job with my puppy's hair cut. I was very happy when I saw him, it was exactly what I asked the girl to do. However, when I came to pick him up, I noticed that the harness was put on the wrong side and it was REALLY tight on him. He was sitting like that at least 30 mins, could've been longer. Now I would've overlooked that since I did mention it to them to be more careful with things like that(shocked me that they work with dogs and yet they didnt know how to put a simple harness on,but things happen I guess), but now my puppy shakes every time I take the leash out and he wont walk. My dog has been fearless since I gotten him and now he gets super scared by anything. Ever since I picked him up from there. I had to carry him home. That tells me that he might've not been treated nicely. Not saying I'm 100% right, but I wanted to share my experience there. Again, really great haircut. I'm sad I won't be coming back but I'd rather be safe then sorry.

We love Paws-a-tively! Our one year old pup has been going there since his first furcut and we’re so happy with them. They really care about the animals, and his groomer, Jasmine, really does fantastic work! We stayed with them even after moving away from the neighborhood and didn’t think twice about it.

We went to this groomer for the first time to have my dogs nails clipped. She cut all of them too short, and two of them are bleeding.

Took such great care of our dog while he was there. His haircut and nails look amazing. Highly recommend!

Took great care and did a wonderful job grooming and bathing our dog. Nails and ears were tough for us at home but they did that on site without a problem. Would recommend to anyone, especially those who appreciate a family run business! 5 of 5!

They do an amazing job at Paws-a-tively. I live close by and they very rarely turn me away when I call day-of to make an appointment. Groomers are very responsive to my specific requests and my westie comes out looking great every time. They are a bit on the pricey side compared to other groomers but IMO well worth it.

I was so pleased with this place! The woman who runs the place is wonderful! I'd stopped coming a few years back and had forgotten why, so after three great experiences in a row, I left my dog with them with confidence. And then Jasmine, a groomer who apparently does not believe in using a comb, cut huge hunks out of my dog's TAIL, then trimmed the end with a blunt cut! She looked ridiculous! She still looks ridiculous. And the tail hair will take years to grow back! I was so angry I waited over a month before leaving a review. And as any dog owner knows, even the most matted tail (and her tail was NOT matted) can be easily combed thru because there are not so many nerve endings so dogs do not resist. If you bring your dog here, leave explicit instructions IN WRITING ... and consider choosing someone other than Jasmine. Personally ... I won't be back.
