These guys are great. Friendly, professional, and very clear with pet parents about pricing. I can't find anything I would change, and I'm certain they will keep getting better. Keep up the good work!

I love my service I receive a Oz!! I’ll admit, I only go when something is majorly wrong and I can’t go to petco care center because Oz tends to be much more expensive and we don’t get the opportunity to pay for services in installments. However, I always get great information about my dog, I learn new things about him and how to care for him, and I always get all of my questions answered. I truly feel like the team cares about my pup and it’s hard to beat that!!

Edit: check-up visit this year/2021 went fantastic, no complaints! Everyone was very calm and careful with my Louie. They were quick, efficient, and we were in and out in half an hour. They checked temps and filled out a COVID questionnaire at the door, everyone wore masks, and I got to be in with him this time! I also wasn't surprised by any of the charges on my bill as they explained everything before proceeding. I 100% feel it's worth every penny and more to have a nearby, reliable, and convenient (online and app scheduling work like a charm, easy-peasy!) vet that also loves my cat as much as I do. I would recommend them to everyone! I took my 3-year-old cat in for his checkup and shots in early December of 2020. Everything went fantastic! I was a bit worried my cat would be scared, as they're doing curbside check-in and I wouldn't be able to be in the room for his checkup. But they called me a couple times during the visit and explained everything as well as told me he was doing fine. Whole visit took less than an hour and when I got home, he was completely unfazed by the whole process, even though he got two shots and his nails clipped for the first time ever! I highly recommend them and I look forward to taking Louie next year.

Detail oriented. They take good care of my dogs. The prescriptions are over 10 times the price you can buy them on chewy and they don't give you a prescription to buy elsewhere. So they are very pricey but they're close to me and they are good

I didn’t know taking my dog to the vet could be such a great experience! Dr. Garza and the whole staff (sorry, I didn’t get names) were wonderful with my anxious little pup. We had a pretty awful experience with Wrigleyville but luckily we’ve moved on and up! I got to be in the room with her for the first time and it felt great to finally have someone listen to me about my concerns for my pet.

This was my first visit and also my kittens first trip to a vet. I was nervous about how he would handle the whole experience. From begining to end, the whole staff was nice, caring and attentive. My kitten was a bit nervous, but warmed up to the doctors quickly. They did a great job distracting him while he had his shots and nails trimmed. The doctor was very nice, answered all my questions and gave great recommendations. This will be the only place I take my kitten for future vet needs

I cannot say enough good things about the staff at Oz. I live in the neighborhood, so it started as a place that was easy to get to - BUT the quality of care is unmatched. My dog had a strange illness/ issue and Dr. Garza did everything to investigate a solution - including consulting with experts in her issue - and she found a solution. I had taken her to another vet and run extensive tests earlier this year for the same issue and there was no real solution found. Dr. Garza was determined to find the source of the issue. My dog is so happy and healthy now which means we are, too. The office does follow up calls and reminders - because they actually care if your animal is better. I recommended to anyone and everyone.

Dr Tracy Garza and her staff were fantastic. The entire staff were engaging from the moment we arrived. My dog was treated like a member of the Oz family and all of the staff took part in making us both feel comfortable. I had several questions regarding my dog and not once was I made to feel foolish for asking. Dr Garza and the staff also offered me suggestions for after-care which I found very helpful. Overall, we had a great experience!

My dog had a foreign object in her stomach. Oz did great work taking x-rays, having vet-techs work with her to try to get it out naturally, and when it didn't, they recommended surgery. They called the ER vet on my behalf to find out when/where/how much/all the instructions I needed for surgery so that I didn't have to do that while I was upset. Excellent veterinary care, excellent customer service - for both animal and human clients!

So far so good--written October 2020 Now it's September 2021 and I still think this is the best veterinary practice I have interacted with.

Thank you for being so kind and caring to Grizz Lee. We are elated to have found such a welcoming vet for our family. Grizz Lee usually is sore after vaccinations, but after our visit, he showed no signs of pain or discomfort. Thank you!

Every interaction I’ve had with every person at Oz Animal Hospital has been outstanding. Everyone is understanding and compassionate, truly cares about my cat, and takes the time to talk through all the information I need. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I’m re-doing my first five to a two star. I just recently switched from this vet to another vet. I liked how in the beginning they are well put together and call back, plus the facility is nice and clean with a nice staff. Now when it came to information concerning my dog I feel like it was all about revenue. I had my last strike when I had to call a different vet for information instead of having to come out of pocket going to an emergency for over $500. I feel like I shouldn’t of had to talk to another vet to get better information and that was basically my last straw. But to have a new puppy come in more than 3 times for an annual check wasn’t sitting right with me. Every time I had to come in and I thought something wasn’t right, could’ve easily told me a over the phone option. My dog had a bump on her back one day instead of telling me the options before went in and I walked out with nothing. So for that visit it was either you pay more or you just wait, something I should’ve been told over the phone because what happened was I waited in the bump went away and I paid $75 for nothing. Another time she wasn’t really eating because she was new to my environment and she was depressed, again that visit didn’t go right either. All they did was give me a syringe and tell me to force-feed her, that something that could’ve been told over the phone. Another 75 dollars. My last strike was when I was trying to get her an appointment and basically the story above where I save myself over $500 by calling another veterinarian that I was not aware and they gave me better information and didn’t take her to the ER. Safe to say we won’t be back ????????

I brought both of my cats here for annual check-ups and pre-travel paperwork several months ago and it was one of my most pleasant vet experiences in 20 years of pet ownership. Dr. Maione really seems to care about my pets and took a lot of time to talk with me over the phone and over email about some abnormal test results, next steps, and even some tips on finding great care after I move. Since I was only able to go during covid, I did not see how my pets were handled in person, but the communication from everyone at the clinic put my mind at ease about leaving them there. The costs were about on par with the other vet I used before finding OZ, but the care was so much better. Wish I hadn't moved to another state so soon after finding them.

Do not go to this place!!!! I have an old dog with a bad ear infection and they told me they could not see him for three months because we are new clients…. If someone could explain to me why you open a new office in a new neighborhood, and then refuse to take new clients? They told me it was imperative that he see a doctor soon, just not one of theirs….total absurdity that they tell me they give preference only to old clients. So offensive….I will spread the word everywhere to boycott these mean nasty people

A great vet experience for me (and mostly pretty good for my cat; I don't like getting stuck with needles either, so I don't blame her for being a little upset). Very responsible with Covid protocols, and still very welcoming behind the masks. They got back to me with test results the next business day: very prompt! Also they kept saying how cute and well-behaved my cat is which is really deserving of five stars in and of itself.

We really love everyone we've seen/interacted with at Oz Animal Hospital. Everyone is SO friendly and nice (both to us and to our cats), and whenever we've had questions about anything the team is very helpful and responsive. We enjoy bringing our cats here and plan to continue to do so in the future.

My pup absolutely loves this establishment. Hands down THE BEST ANIMAL HOSPITAL. Huge shoutout to Kimberly & Ingrid for always taking care of Tera so well ❤️ I was only in Rogers Park for a year, but they treated us like family here. They genuinely care for the animals they take in and take the extra steps to connect with the owners. I would give them a million stars if I could. Thank you so much for everything! -Joanne & Tera the lick monster ????

I moved to Oz from another vet clinic earlier this year, and have been so impressed by their level of care. Everyone I’ve spoken to or interacted with at the office has been helpful and kind, they’re transparent about costs and add-ons, and it’s clear they really love and care for your animals (all the techs gush to me about my cat Oats, which brings a smile to my face). Highly recommend!

The vets, vet techs, and administrative staff are very kind and respectful, and they're definitely five star, but every time I go, it seems that I have to get certain services I don't want and end up paying much more than anticipated. Also, it seems that the person making the appointments doesn't accurately note what I am requesting, and then the vet/vet techs do more than I want or they haven't checked my past visit history and I have re-explain what I was told in previous visits. For example, most recently, I scheduled vaccines because I was getting mail and emails saying my dog was due, but then I get there and because of a condition he has, they told me they would rather not give him the vaccines until his treatment is done. I'm frustrated because they already knew about his condition, so I took him there and paid for an exam and they actually did not tell me anything new and I didn't get him vaccinated. There was another time I took him in for a test, but they gave him a couple other standard tests too, but I really just wanted the one, so I had to pay for those others too. I will pay for what my sweet pup needs, but it is hard that every time I come here, I pay more than I had budgeted. Also, the very first time I came here, a week after adopting my dog, the vet insisted that my dog was aggressive and needs a trainer, which was so alarming, but after having him almost a year, he is actually just a fearful baby, and mellowed out. Trainers are always good, but that vet terrified me that my small dog was vicious. tl;dr: They want the best for your pet, but there seems to be some communication problems, and I end paying more than I anticipate. Definitely quality care, but I've had some frustrations.
