I’ve been taking my little yorkie to this veterinarian office for 11 years now. It has changed owners and staff over the years as most veterinarian offices do. But, that has not stopped the quality, the care and professionalism that my pet baby and I receive. My fur baby’s well being is most important to me. She has some health issues & they are managed very well by her doctor Dr. Tracy Maione. Dr. Maione is an excellent doctor. She is professional, knowledgeable, kind and very nice. She cares for your pet as if it was her own. Her staff is also top tier. I’m a very happy client. I even referred a family member to take her dog there. Your pet will be in excellent hands at Oz Animal Hospital (.)

I've been seeing Oz Animal Hospital for almost a year now for my puppy and would definitely not recommend. The office is not organized with scheduling and recommendations. For example just recently, I schedule a Neuter exam and they provided the date 1/3 as the first available date. I confirmed the appointment for 1/3 but when I confirmed with them the next time I was at the facility they said that they couldn't do the appointment anymore - they offered the end of January as replacement which I found unacceptable. When they asked if I wanted to reschedule I told them "no and that I felt like I was being jerked around by them" and they responded with no apology and said let us know if you change your mind. They also have issues keeping past records up to date, specifically the vaccine records. When moving from a past vet to Oz they failed to maintain the previous records on file and they recommend their vaccine schedule based on only the records they have on file - which causes confusion and ultimately impacts the overall care of the pet. I had reminded the office more than a handful of times that their records were not accurate and to please update them. They did not and it got to the point where I no longer trusted their office to take care of my puppy. I wouldn't recommend Oz Animal Hospital.

I visited Oz Animal Hospital LP recently for the first time with my anxious Schnoodle. We planned a "well visit" for Ellie so that she could adjust to her new doctor since our move. Dr. Katz and the entire staff were understanding and patient with the situation (Ellie is NOT a good patient!). I was shocked that she warmed up to the staff and am encouraged that our visits going forward will be positive ones! Thanks to Oz Animal Hospital for the warm welcome!

Oz is amazing! The BEST Staff! My 4 Poms LOVE them and come home happy. They give the BEST medical care around.

Great vet hospital, Cody is always eager to go in just to get some treats. The assistants there treat dogs so well. I reccomend them if you're in the area!

I only want the best for Olga the toy poodle and that’s what Oz is. Everyone who works there is caring, responsive and thorough. Dr. Katz is amazing and has been the best doctor for Olga I could ask for!

There's no hesitation at all to give Oz Animal Hospital a 5 star rating. Everything from speaking to their reception team to the actual appointment with the vet was top notch. They're professional, extremely caring, and answered my numerous questions as a new pet owner. Their communication was thorough, timely, and helpful, and it's clear my pet is in great hands!

Dr. Katz is simply. The BEST. I wouldn't take my dogs to anyone else.

We love our vet???? we are following her to new office location. Saddened to leave old office after 30+ yrs. but new ownership policies did not sit well with us. Looking forward to working with staff at Oz. So far great customer service, as we love our fur babies and expect nothing but the best.

The folks at Oz are wonderful! Friendly, efficient, reliable, and it's obvious that everyone loves what they do. They're also incredibly informative abd helpful. We never feel rushed if we have questions about our dogs!

We recently moved to the Lincoln Park area from Philadelphia and Oz Animal Hospital was very accommodating to ensure our senior dog’s vaccinations and care were up to date. The staff (check-in, reception, vet tech, vet, check out) were all very welcoming and friendly. Dr. Katz and the vet tech (wish I remembered his name!) were very thorough in our dog’s assessment and care. The prices seemed fair and comparable to what we were paying in Philadelphia. Highly recommend!

I know that all vets are incredibly busy during covid so I appreciate that, but even though it'd be a few days before they could see my pup in person, they let me take home some products to get his healing process started. I also love that I don't feel like I'm being oversold on services or products just for the sake of making money - any product or service that has been recommended has been something much needed or a product we've ended up loving (that have saved money in the long run!). Every staff member we've interacted with has been fantastic and my pup RUNS into the building every time we go nearby. Thank you for being so great!

5 stars aren't enough! It was pretty obvious to me that Oz Animal hospital was great for checkups when Simba tolerated his vet visits. Sim is an anxious lil guy and it took me a long time to find an amazing provider. (We went to a lot of different places where his anxiety made me feel like the worst owner possible... he was not going). Then my poor lil buddy had an ear hematoma and infection in his right ear and was in the ER last week. There are people medical offices that do not follow up with you after an emergency stay or procedure. Oz Animal hospital followed up after his ER stay with MedVet 2X! TWICE! (Did I mention people primary providers don't even do that?) They even squeezed him in for a follow up for next week. I feel so happy, relieved, & grateful to have found such amazing care for a member of my family. They are seriously the BEST! Hands down. No questions asked. Go here if you want the best care in the city.

Absolutely love Oz Animal Hospital! Oz Lincoln Park exceeded my expectations in terms of quality of care and responsiveness. Every team member I've interacted with is extremely polite and helpful. They are accessible and responsive to all inquiries, which is very much appreciated. Highly recommend this vet!

Every time I come here, it's a LOT more than I was told ahead of time. This time, by over 200.00. I'm pretty mad about that. I ASKED them in advance. I'll probably switch to another vet. Mid North is closer, anyway.

The staff was very nice, but were not able to handle our feisty cat. We had to reschedule 3 times to try and get her vaccinated, but each time they said she was too stressed/aggressive to even get out of her carrier, even with sedatives! After these attempts, we went to a different vet and they were able to get her vaccinated with no problem, making me think this place didn't even try. They definitely are not comfortable dealing with stressed cats, which seems odd for a vet.

If you are looking for a vet in Chicago, go to Oz and don't look back! My husband and I are first-time dog owners and adopted our dog about 5 months ago. We are so glad that we chose Oz. The staff has been incredibly friendly and patient with us as our dog has had quite a few trips there for a variety of medical issues since we brought him home. The team has provided him with the highest quality of care throughout each visit, and they have been so kind to always follow up with us as needed to check in on how our dog was doing. Additionally, they have been so responsive, always quick to respond to questions via phone and email, and we've never had trouble getting an appointment when needed. We recently moved from Chicago and taking our pup to Oz is one of the things we will miss the most- if we can find a new vet who is a fraction as wonderful, we will be lucky!

I moved, so it's no longer convenient for me to take my cats here, but if you live in the area, this is a great veterinary practice! The people here truly care about every animal that comes through the door, and you can be sure they will provide the best advice and care for your fur baby. They were always excited to see my cats, and I always felt confident in the service provided. A great team here, and I would recommend to anyone looking!

A loving place providing a very thorough care.

What a lovely, informative group! Dr. Tracey Maione, DVM saw my new 13-week-old puppy today and she was so kind and helpful in walking through my little buddy's needs. Carly, the technician, and Kimberly at reception were also delightful. Of course, I was curbside for the appointment due to social distancing, but I still felt welcomed and that my puppy was well taken care of. I am a first-time puppy parent and I feel very at ease with Oz Animal Hospital and would recommend to others. They even sent me a picture of my puppy enjoying some cheese during his exam! I look forward to returning again for follow-up appointments.

Oz Animal Hospital is fantastic! I am a first-time cat mom, and wanted to find a local Vet that would take great care of her. Oz Animal Hospital has been a wonderful resource! Dr. Valbuena is extremely knowledgeable, and cares so much for her patients. Everyone I have spoken with at Oz has been so caring and professional. They are extremely supportive and provide excellent care and resources to their patients.

I love this vet! I have seen two of the drs on different occasions. Both were amazing, nice, and extremely helpful. My dog is difficult and is never a pleasure to bring to the vet. But everyone here, is kind, patient, and does everything they can to create a positive experience for her. They truly care and will go as far as emailing you with helpful tips, fill prescriptions with the hour, or even take the time to find the right information that works for your pet. It’s fantastic!

Our initial visit was a positive experience. The staff is very attentive and thorough. We are so glad to have found a great animal hospital within our neighborhood and walking distance.

I recently switched vets and couldn't be happier with my selection! The team here is extremely responsive and worked to answer all of the questions I had. I love the fact that you can text them too! Dr. Valbuena was fantastic and made sure I was fully informed regarding all treatment options, pros/cons and cost before making any decisions for my dog. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a vet in the Chicago-area!

Quality vet care, but expensive.

A very caring and wholesome experience all around. I think both my puppy and I enjoy coming here every time. I don't have any complaints as I feel like my puppy is taken good care of here. I highly recommend Oz Animal Hospital!
