Pleasant and clean facility. Doctors and assistants are gentle with your pets and thorough and helpful with any medical issues. As pleasant an experience as going to the vet can be!

Pickles and I love coming here (which is saying a lot for a cat going to the vet). Dr. Egan and her staff were excellent in calming Pickles down, and explaining her necessary treatment to me. We will definitely be visiting this office again!

Love mid north! Thanks to Dr Schnoor we were finally able to solve my dog's digestive issues that had been recurring for year. Dr Schnoor, Dr Egan, Aubrey and the rest of the team take great care of Pierre each and every time we visit.

The care and customer service at Mid North Animal Hospital is exceptional. The vets, technicians and receptionists have been friendly, professional and supportive with whatever we have needed and they have taken wonderful care of our dog. Highly recommended!

My dog stole and ate half a chicken and was barffing up chicken bones. We just moved to Chicago and another dog owner kindly recommended this vet so I called and hope to get my dog checked. The vet on the phone told me it’s an emergency and URGED me to get my dog checked BUT also claimed “we are not accepting new clients”. How ironic and cruel! Can you believe in a vet if she/he reject to make a little bit of time to see an animal in need of urgent care? I don’t and you shouldn’t.

They quickly got me an appointment when my cat was sick. I also always get a quick response when requesting vaccination documents for my cat.

I have had my 2 cats about 6 months. I adopted through Feline Friends of Chicago and this is the vet office they recommend and I have continued going here after completing my adoption. I have only had good experiences with this office. I have vaccinated, spayed, and had urgent care at this facility and would recommend to anyone looking for a reliable doctor for their fur kids. Miriam at the front desk is so responsive and thoughtful answering my questions (email, phone calls, etc.). It is nice to have someone so informed and kind on the front line of the business. I haven't had much direct contact with the vet because of Covid, but I appreciate their caution in this area, and that my cats always are returned in good condition with a clear diagnosis and medication needed each visit. I also appreciate that when I send photos over email, they are quick to tell me if I need to come in or can wait to see if things recover on their own. It saves me a visit and gives me peace of mind - I am unsure if this "email/telemedicine" is only a Covid only thing, but it has been wonderful so far.

I didn’t catch her name but the vet at Mid North was amazing and helped my roommate and I check a stray cat for a microchip. She was amazing! I would trust any pet of mine at Mid North!

I have had such a wonderful experience with Mid North Animal Hospital. Everyone there is incredibly friendly, helpful, and calming. The vet is stressful and this team makes sure each animal is calm, happy, and taken care of. It's such a refreshing experience. Miriam, Parker, Sean, Dr. Egan, and the rest of the team have made my many visits (whether it's with my foster kittens or my own cat) very pleasant and easy. I am so happy to work with this group!

As a new pet owner, it is very worrisome when your furry friend has to be taken into the vet. However, Mid North makes you feel taken care of immediately. Their staff, especially Miriam and Dr. Egan, are so kind, calming and helpful. They were able to take my kitten, Santino, same day and took care of my concerns. I am so happy to have found a vet as helpful and kind as them. ????

Mid North Animal Hospital is a great neighbor and team for my puppies health care! Everyone was very kind and accommodating to our needs. The Dr. was also so thorough in patient education. We never felt rushed and she welcomed questions.

I have been going to Laura Schnoor with various pets since 1991. She is warm, obviously loves animals, and wields considerable medical expertise. We lived in California for nine years and really missed this clinic and the wonderful, personable staff. Special shout outs to Miriam and Parker! We now live in Evanston, half an hour away, and we still bring our cats to Mid North.

Everyone here is always friendly and helpful. Laura, one of the veterinarians, is amazing.

Dr. Schnoor was very helpful and kind. Helped quell my anxiety about my sick little cat and I’ll definitely permanently be switching to Mid North even though it’s further from my apartment than my previous one! ❤️

Since my relocation from the UK, my dogs have been in the vets a lot. However the team here have made us feel at home, really looked after us, and they are so knowledgeable and caring I would not want to go anywhere else. From the front of house staff and Managers and veterinarians, you all rock. In fact my dogs love this place so much every day we walk past they tried to pull me in to say hello. That has never happened at a vets before!

Mid North squeezed me in when my puppy had a mini emergency, and took care of my puppy with professionalism and the quality care I was hoping for. Highly recommend, great staff.

Great experience! Our dog had an ear hematoma where blood was internally pooling. It is a time sensitive issue but almost noon on a Saturday. The doctor accepted our appointment as an emergency and squeezed us in before closing. The paper work was very easy to do online. The doctor did a great job of draining and medicating the ear and our dog did not need surgery. And the icing on the cake, it was reasonably priced. Thanks again!

I just had my first appointment with Mid North Animal Hospital and I was blown away! You aren't allowed inside due to COVID restrictions, so I was very nervous to leave my cat with people I didn't know. But they called me multiple times during the appointment to update me and asked plenty of questions. The most notable thing was after they were finished, they updated me on how my cat was doing that at that very moment before launching into a diagnosis. It made me feel so much better that she wasn't scared and did great during the exam. Highly recommend, especially during COVID!

Mid North has taken care of my animals with such care and kindness, I would not go anywhere else. I moved out of the city but will continue bringing my animals to Mid North. My dog loves going to the vet and loves all the staff, she would be disappointed if I brought to a different vet.

Had the best experience from the second I walked in to the second I left. All of the staff (front desk/doctors) are so sweet and informative, they are caring and friendly which is comforting for me and my dog. Prices are decent what you would expect ????????‍♀️

Not long after I moved to Chicago my dog started having seizures. I didn't know anyone in Chicago but found Mid North's website and just had a good feeling about them. I am so incredibly thankful for the Mid North staff. My dog ended up passing away about 8 months later but they were amazing through the whole process - even making a donation in his memory and sending a condolence card. I can't say enough about how much I appreciate them supporting me through those final months by always being willing to assist me in caring for my dog's needs and comfort. I HIGHLY recommend Mid North to any pet owner!

Nothing could be more exceptional about Mid North. The staff is always so thoughtful and caring when treating my cat Vinny. They send follow ups after procedures to make sure he’s recovering okay and always make sure to provide all the details necessary to make my feel as though my cat is healthy and in good hands. Would absolutely recommend Mid North to anyone looking for a primary Vet!

I have been taking my puppy here the last few months. I have not had any negative experiences. When my puppy was ill they were able to quickly get her in for an appointment, diagnose and treat her.

We’ve been a MidNorth family for 22 years and four dogs. Dr. Schnoor and Dr. Ross are excellent, empathetic doctors... and the staff - from Sean to Miriam to everyone else - are kind and professional.

The staff is super friendly! They take good care of my doodle. The vet always sends a follow up email checking in on him to make sure he’s doing well. I’ve spent some time looking for the right place for my doodle and this is it.

I am continually blown away with how friendly the Mid North Animal Hospital staff. Each person is so kind on the phone. They never make you feel silly for asking a question about your pet. You can tell that they are kind and loving to your pet too (I have got my dog during COVID, so haven’t been able to go inside with him). I would highly recommend Mid North to other folks in Lincoln Park!
