This is our go-to dog boarding spot. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor space for the dogs to roam, and it’s always clean. The staff is friendly, and they take really good care of my beagle.

I threw my puppy’s 1st birthday here and it was perfect! The staff is very reliable and great to work with. I will definitely be back!

Amazing place for boarding and daycare. Their staff is very attentive to all dogs. Betty has a special way with all animals and even if there are 50 dogs, she remembers exactly how each one behaved to tell you at the end of the day. I was nervous about being away from my dog but Dogone Fun made me feel at ease and my dog was well taken care of. When I went to pick him up he didn’t want to leave! Everything is well run and their food selection is incredible. It’s a great place to pick up your dog food and treats because it’s high quality food at very good prices.

Long story short, we had to board our dogs immediately from relocating from Michigan. They collected needed paperwork, added us on the schedule, and took amazing care of our Fruggle and English bulldog. The team was kind, understanding, friendly, and cared about our dogs. We will continue to bring them for weekly visits.

Our 1st day, so there was a couple of hiccups. Dogs seemed well cared for. Betty was especially friendly and attentive. Our rescue pooch fell asleep on the way home so I feel he had an active day.

I called several times & no one picked up or called back. Are they even open??

Have only great things to say about Doggone fun! Excellent service and most importantly great care of my dog when I am out of town. Very accommodating to last-minute reservations and are very diligent about veterinary records. I leave my dog there with upmost confidence every time!

Went in for a nail trimming and was unimpressed. Save your $25 and DoGo somewhere else.

I've been bringing my dog here for nearly 3 years and continue to find the care and services to be truly outstanding. We use the daycare services regularly and I love that my Xena eagerly rushes to join her doggie and human friends on the playlot. We have also used the boarding services countless times and have been pleased with her care and are equally pleased with grooming services. Thank you for providing such a loving and reliable "home away from home" for my beloved doggie.

Love the way Jackie grooms dogs , she has been grooming our 3 dogs for the last few years and no one does it like she does ! She’s so generous ! Won’t go elsewhere !

DoGone Fun has been taking care of my rescue Bull Mastiff for over a year. They were so patient as she was fearful of people and other dogs but now she is a well rounded playful pup. Thanks to the entire staff for showing Sadie so much love!

Staff is either selling drugs on playlot or so high they get sent home. Please dont take your dogs here. The "trainer" is unqualified to train other staff on how to act around dogs. Place is very unprofessional.

Dual military family here, one of us is shipping out in 3 weeks and the other needed some help holding down the fort in the form of a dog walker to give our German shepherd some time to stretch his legs while his remaining soldier is putting in 12-hour days. DoGone Fun is 0.3 miles from our residence and wouldn’t even discuss services with us because we’re “outside” the south loop by 1 block.

We have two 11-year old male Havanese, one of which our previous groomer wouldn't groom because he had just been diagnosed with a heart problem. We asked our vet for suggestions and she referred us to Dan saying "he is really good with 'special needs' dogs". When I picked them up after grooming they acted like they were coming home from a party and their puppy cuts were just spectacular. No groomer anywhere has ever come close to what Dan accomplished today. Too bad there are only 5 stars!

The staff and facilities are top notch. Dan and the grooming team are wonderful. Have been going here for 10 years plus!

They are so sweet (and convenient)! You can buy food and pet supplies right there and you can even get them to take your dog on a walk, or cuddle time! :-)

Jackie has been grooming our two pups for the past 5+ years and has always done an amazing job! Everyone else we’ve encountered here has always been super nice and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Expensive, but my little Sunshine loved the place. She played herself tired and that's what I wanted. The staff is great. They give daily report cards and detailed feedback.

My boys pull me like sledge dogs to get there faster for "PlayDay" and groomer is amazing!!!

The staff treat my pups as if they were their own dogs. My boys love staying here for daycare or boarding, and I never need to worry about them at all while I’m away. I highly recommend Dogone Fun!

We attended a convention in downtown Chicago and needed a good place where our dog would be happier than alone in a hotel room. Dogonefunchicago is great! They assessed our pet for temperament, took his veteranarian's records, showed us around and explained how he would be safe yet have fun. They answered our questions. When we left, our 45 pound Welsh springer spaniel was in the outside lot sitting on a caretaker's lap. He grinned while she laughed. I observed him on the live web cams later: he was either circulating with the other dogs or sitting with another Welshie at the feet of a caretaker. I happened to watch while the dogs were taken out of the playlot and was impressed with how orderly dogs were taken to their individual kennels. When we picked him up we got an itemized bill and a happy dog. I am very pleased with the care he received and hope we have another convention in Chicago!

On 10/21/19 I called DoGone Fun! inquiring about pricing for their dog daycare and dog walking service. They contract out the dog walking to a third party. I was told I would receive a phone call the following day from the dog walker. I did not receive a phone call. Two days later (10/23/19), I called back and expressed my frustration with the failure to call and also inquired about their dog grooming service. I was assured the dog walker would call me the following day and was told I’d receive a separate phone call from one of their dog groomers with pricing, as they were increasing their pricing and couldn’t quote me directly. I did not receive either of the phone calls the following day. I called back on 10/25/19, expressing my concerns with the lack of communication. This time I spoke to someone different and she said she would be texting the groomers immediately and that they would call me the following morning (today) with pricing. It is 4:55 PM at the time of posting this and I still haven’t received a phone call. I live very close to this business and was hoping I’d find a place I could trust to bring my dog. Unfortunately, there is now no chance I’d ever feel comfortable leaving my dog in their care. I understand DoGone Fun! employees most likely wouldn’t prioritize customers who are referred to their third party services. However, I am looking for a place to board my dog on an as-needed basis once she recovers from her spinal injury. This experience with DoGone Fun! has costed hundreds to thousands of dollars of money I was prepared to spend for their services. I did not want to leave this review, as I figured mistakes happen and would have rather worked it out with the business in person. Hence why I called two additional times after my initial phone call. However, there is clearly something wrong with the operational flow of this business. At this point I felt leaving this review was the only way for the business owner(s) to be made aware of what is going on.

Our dog recently started going here for doggie daycare. He LOVES it!!! Even though he has only been here a few times, the staff already know him. We feel comfortable that our dog is safe and in good hands!

Great customer service! Indoor and outdoor facilities for dogs to run around. Quaint little Shop with stocked with anything you might need for your pet. Great place to hold an event or dog b-day party.
