Dr. Cheryl is a saint, and the entire staff is wonderful. At first, no contact care was a little daunting. I worried about my cat being anxious in a new place with unfamiliar people and shots! When I picked him up, I could tell he had been spoiled with snuggles and pets. It was hard to believe that he had just gotten an antibiotic shot, because he was begging for pets and purring the whole ride home. Dr. Cheryl talked me through every test, outcome, and option for my cat. She even gave anecdotes about her own fur babies when discussing options. In addition to her compassion and communication, Dr. Cheryl is incredibly knowledgeable. Her familiarity with different species of pathogenic bacteria and their treatment was impressive to me (a graduate student in the subject). I can't recommend this team enough.

Dr. Kung was very attentive and explained things thoroughly. She took her time with my cat and answered all my questions. Everyone was pleasant (and complimented my cat's good behavior which I loved). I feel this appt was worth every penny and I was not overcharged. Another vet quoted me much higher prices and only spent a fraction of the time (5 min) doing the exam.

When my own Companion vet was booked and couldn't get my very sick kitty in, Oak Park Companion made room to see her. Very thoughtful service!

We recently had to euthanize our beloved family dog, Macy. She'd been with us for 14 years and we loved her greatly. Companion was phenomenal in assisting us with her final moments. They were compassionate, thoughtful and extremely sensitive. I can't say it enough how impressed I was with the level of service and care. Their compassion made a difficult moment just a tad bit easier to deal with.

I recently adopted a bully mix breed pup and decided to get him checked out and up to date on shots. I did my homework on this place and after bringing my dog here I was not disappointed. When I made the appointment I explained to the call taker that my dog is known to be dog aggressive so that the hospital would be aware before I brought him in. The call taker explained how they handle these situations and that I should call when we arrive to ensure there are no other pets around for pet safety. This is exactly what happened, I arrived and was greeted by Jocelyn who was understanding of my dogs personality and took care of us great. She got all of our information and answered all my questions. Dr. Schoessow came in and again was very understanding and knowledgeable about my dogs situation. She was very professional, explained all the procedures that would be done that day and answered all of my questions. I was very pleased with Dr. Schoessow and her staff.

My pup was coming in for an initial appointment with Companion Oak Park. The doctor and all the staff were really great. They were attentive to my concerns and questions and were happy to answer everything. I never felt like they did not have time for me or my dog. They were very patient and caring with my dog as well. I also found the costs reasonable. Everything was great!

very grateful we’ve found this place. The staff at this location is kind and helpful, and Dr. Kung has been a blessing to our Bella (and to us too!) She has been amazing with our fur baby on multiple occasions. Our dog suffers from severe separation anxiety, and they created a treatment plan to help her receive the care she needed while ensuring she was as comfortable as possible. Bella is doing great after her appointment today, and i’d recommend her to anyone seeking care for their pets. Thank you again to everyone who has helped care for her! :)

Parking lot vet visits will never be ideal, but the vet and staff who work at this office are great communicators who ensure you leave with all questions answered. They are transparent about pricing, calling for approval of a line-by-line estimate at the start of each visit. They also use tech well -- email reminders and web forms for scheduling and completion of pre-visit questionnaires.

Dr. Kung and staff (tech, Jocelyn) were amazing with our Arthur Fonzarelli. We've had 4 moves in under 2 years and Fonz was recently diagnosed with Chronic Enteropathy during our move(s). Everyone at Companion was helpful and welcoming, while also ensuring that Fonz was back on his preventatives and up to date. Dr. Kung is warm and collaborative. Same goes for the staff, from scheduling through to the end of our visit. I cannot thank them enough. Now that we are settled, I feel we have finally found our new "home" vet clinic. Smaller office. Quaint and comfortable.

Took Jimmy to the vet today as having issues. Love the staff, techs and vets. Very nice and helpful.

My dog, Coral, loves going to the Vet. She runs in and gets hugs and gives kisses. They take great care of her. She would stay there all day if I didn't come to pick her up right away. The tech called me and let me know everything went well and Coral was laying down on the floor cooling off. Coral is a Labrador Retriever.

They were helpful with the information but this place is overly pricey for just grooming. It’s $95 dollars for just a shave on a 1 year old short fur cat. Not worth it.

I just adopted, Myu and so appreciated that the Animal Care League (ACL) had a recommendation for vetenary services. And from our first appointment, I know we're in good hands

Incredibly trustworthy and caring professionals — and you can tell they genuinely love animals. Our fur baby (dog), Baxter is a regular patient here; but this morning, we had to take him suddenly in for GI upset. The team worked to squeeze him in for a drop off assessment. Even though I had to rush to work, the vet called and gave me a thorough assessment by phone so I felt like I didn’t miss anything! Whether for routine or urgent care, this team always give excellent service.

I cannot say enough about Dr Schoessow and her staff. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my pets. They genuinely care and have the best interest of the animals at heart. I highly recommend this vet. Very trustworthy, dedicated and personable, which is not easy to come by anymore

Lori, is the best groomer. She really takes care of my fur babies. And very attentive. Once, during a grooming she noticed something wrong with one of my pets ears. She immediately informed the doctor. He was able to be seen the same day and received the medication needed.

Very friendly, communicative, and obviously animal lovers/not just running a business. Happy to have found this place and will continue to bring my little furball back!

The staff was respectful of our time; and very nice to my pup! This was my first visit with a brand new puppy... the doctor explained what the result of her examination was very clearly; answered my questions and let me know next steps. Really appreciated the way the staff and doctor took care of both of us!
