These people are angels. I found a wounded Warbler on the sidewalk and called them. Joyce was extremely kind and helpful and immediately connected me someone close to my neighborhood who can take the bird to the Willowbrook Wildlife Center Clinic.

We found this abandoned baby bird this evening and reached out immediately because we couldn't bear to leave it behind. Your service and immediate response was amazing. I read somewhere below that they are God sent and I agree. Joyce took in this little one and I'm grateful for places like this and people like you guys♡ Thank you for existing.

Wow these folks are a godsend! They came so quick and really care about the welfare of birds! I'm so happy there is someone around to help keep wildlife alive and well. They rescued an injured hawk in my neighborhood. So glad to have these ladies around!

I’ve contacted this organization a few times in the past about injured birds and they are always friendly and respond promptly. This time I found two injured baby bunnies. Another wildlife rescue in the suburbs suggested I call them to ask if they know of any places that would take them. According to the wildlife center I called, Chicago/Cook County doesn’t have many rehab centers for wildlife. Long story short, I gave them a call and the ended up sending one of their volunteers to pick up these sweet little creatures! From the time I called to pick up was only about 2 hours. I really, really appreciate them because these little guys needed immediate attention. So, sooo grateful. ????

I noticed a hawk in our backyard that was not moving and, as it was getting dark, I was getting concerned about predators. We found a bird organization called Chicago Bird Collision Monitors. As it is Saturday night, someone picking up our call and helping seemed unrealistic. However, Peggy picked up our call, took our information, and contacted volunteers. 20 minutes later Mary arrived and puts the bird in a carrier. So grateful to volunteers and organizations like this who help our wildlife!

We found a little bird in a middle of a sidewalk in West Loop, looked like it fell out of its nest and broke a wing. It was a Sunday evening during a Memorial Day Weekend. We called the Chicago Bird Collision Monitors and they answered right away! We described the bird and the situation and someone came within 20 minutes to rescue the little guy. Thank you so much!!!

Found an injured bird outside today in Humboldt Park and CBCM was able to come and pick them up within a couple hours. Super happy to have some assistance in bringing a bird to the bird sanctuary in the suburbs since I don't have a car. Highly recommend their friendly team!

My sister and I were walking down state and rush street today and my sister saw a pigeon flopping around helplessly on the sidewalk. We were in shock and my sister found this service, which was a huge relief. We named the bird, Hope..after about 15 minutes a friendly woman named Liz picked up Hope and took her away to get healed. We will be following up with a chicago bird collision monitors in a few days. Its nice to know that this service exists in the city. If you ever see a hurt bird who needs help please call service, they are fast friendly and a kind team. Please provide the street and intersection and they will come to the rescue. Good luck hope we are were glad to save you, thank you team!

Bird struck our glass this morning. Called these folks and they provided expert knowledge and directions. Eventually the bird recovered as we were told might happen, otherwise they offered to come pick up the bird. Please keep up the great work!
